It sucks that though it isn't everyday, we still sometimes have to face harsh realities that racism, in whatever form exists. Love is love, doesn't matter skin, culture or religion.

I don't really care about the insults they've gotten, and nor should most of the readers.
Why is that?
Because dating is a zero sum game, it means that some level of backlash is only natural. Don't understand? Let's take the media favorite of white female, black male.
The simple, blunt truth is that for every white girl that dates out, there's probably a white guy who literally will have to date out now, too, because of decreased supply.
Hence, there will be negative backlash. That's natural, that's normal, and it makes utter sense.
It's the same reason why black men slander black women who date out, and black women *really* don't like how many black guys chase white girls only. It's sheer instinct.
It's not everyone's instinct to be mad and selfish about some else's happiness. Those people are probably lacking and thus can't easily find anyone, regardless of ethnicity.

This 'supply' of white women you're talking about shouldn't even be there. A white man shouldn't think he has to go 'out' of the white woman category to date. The supply should be humans, no matter what ethnicity they are. If your preference is white, then date within whites by all means. But there shouldn't be a backlash just for having a different preference. It's like how a person can eat any type of cookie they want, they can prefer a certain flavour while others like another flavour, but we don't insult them for liking a different flavour from ours.

My mothers been called a n** Lover, by her own father. When he found out she was having a child and married to a black man, he took her out of his will hasn't talked to her in 15 years.

No he is a betrayed father who lost his daughter to genetic suicide. It would have been kinder to him if she had physically died rather than choose to destroy his genetic legacy. I grieve with him. He has worked hard to have a future for him and his genetic legacy and now that legacy is dead.

Actually ended up in a lawsuit over this at work. People were openly questioning why a white woman was dating a black man? The comments got pretty rude. I can tell you they do take a toll on you over time.
Aw, why a lawsuit? That's messed up.
Because the harassment got so bad, that when I filed formal complaints, I was found unfit to work. My employer had a quack doctor say I was suffering from a mental condition. He determined this in one 30 minute interview. What they didn't know, was I had seen a relationship counselor because of problems my girlfriend and I were having. We settled out of court. The admitted no wrong doing, but felt a jury might feel otherwise. Plus I am more a person of principal. I didn't ask for a judgement. I asked for my job, my seniority and position to be restored. Looking, back, I should have asked for damages.
I'll have to admit that I have thought about those things although I never said them to anyone or acted based on them. I have tried to shut down my brain when it comes to mind. But I guess racial things have root in our biological needs and historical instincts. For example continuing our genes. I guess it just means interracial relationships don't promote the genes of "us" and our "tribe" which is instinctively our means of survival. So for some it is regarded as a betrayal of your own kind. For others, it is the jealousy of wanting what you have.
But our genes haven't caught up with modern times yet.
Also, you still see lots of racism in other areas. People going easier on their own race, e. g. in a job interview, and vice versa. So it is the same in dating and marriage.
But if you keep it up, people will eventually grow into it and accept it like they have accepted everything else. It's hard at first but eventually it will become a norm.
Genes don't need to catch up with times, genes need to survive intact, that's their only imperative and core to every organism. Interracial dating is nothing but genetic suicide.
@DictumVeritas Coming from the South African prick who's favorite word is "Kaffir"! When was it that the true South African Blacks castrated you and put so much negative hate for women and anything that isn't pure white in your damaged genes.

In my personal experience I get more shit from other black people when I date a white woman.
They take me dating someone of another race as some personal affront to themselves in some way. It's annoying more than anything else
I know it is. Black women are insecure because society puts us as the least attractive race of females. And it makes it obvious. They take it personally because of this in my opinion.
However you can date who you want and don't write about them. Remember that love is love.
This seems lighthearted compared to some of the things that are said about interracial couples.

She's black, I'm white, so OBVIOUSLY we can't actually be together for real.
