Why I do not stand for Bernie Sanders, one reason anyway!

Some of his ideas are good. He and Rand Paul are the only true anti war candidates. The rest just give lip service. One thing that is bad though. I did some figuring when I owned my business about the $15 minimum wage and here's what I found:

Based on the year before I sold the business

Full time employees: 8
Part time employees: 6
Starting wage-part time-no experience (primarily high school or just out of high school) $8/hr
Full time starting wage: $9/hr
Full time wages for more senior employees:$10-14/hr
Asst manager wage (1): $16/hr
Manager wage (1): $17.50/hr

If a $15 minimum wage was required here's the results:
Full time employees: 6
Part time employees: 3
Wages for everyone except managers: $15/hr no chance for a raise, ever.
Wages for asst. Manager: $16/hr
Wages for manager: $17.50/hr

Managers are required to do much more and they have much more stress, however they would not make much more. I think my managers would want to be demoted or quit but there will be less available jobs so they really couldn't quit. More stress would be placed on everyone cuz we have less people to do the same amount of tasks. If someone is being paid that high of a wage, I'm going to expect much more and that will place more stress on everyone but again, they wouldn't be smart to quit cuz jobs would be in very short supply with all the layoffs. It's not that I don't want to pay a really good wage, it's that I can't. There's only so much money to go around and you have to manage that. There's things you HAVE to pay and the only thing you can reduce that you don't have to pay are employees. So, it would cost so many jobs. Millions and millions of them. No businesses would be hiring for the most part. This would place unsustainable stress on the unemployment system. This is just a start. There will be a dominoes effect. Fewer jobs begat fewer jobs begat fewer jobs... this will not work. Even if he was able to get it through congress which would never happen. Even democrats understand why this can't work.
