Ethnic Wear of different Cultures

Inspired by a recent Take on people mistaking Indian attire to be associated with Arab ones, I thought this Take would help.

Arab Ethnic Wear:

Usually comprises of wide sleeved long dresses (a more fashionable version of the Abaya which is a Islamic garment).

Men on the other hand wear a simpler version of the thobe (Robe).

South Asian Ethnic Wear (Pakistan, Bangladesh and India)

A common dress attire worn in Pakistan.

Predominantly worn in areas of Pakistan, India and Bangladesh

Mostly worn in India and Bangladesh, but also worn in some parts of Pakistan.

i am not good in fashion things , but i think the first picture belongs to Maghrebian style (Morocco , Algeria)

Yeah I think so too, but its mostly worn by Arabs (in and outer Saudi, so I just categorised them under that)

Very interesting take - It is intriguing that the women's clothes are so elaborate and the men's clothes almost plain.

Thank you :). I think men aren't as fussy as us women are when it comes to clothing lol. But you can get some elaborate ones for men too but most men (well the ones I know) prefer wearing simpler ones unless its for a wedding.

Pakistan? Those aren't just worn in Pakistan but other countries too and I didn't just add in Pakistani wear but other Middle Eastern/South Asian traditional wear too
