Meh, all of that just sounds like you're eager for approval. You're a performance based learner. You care more about the pat on the head than the idea... None of that has to do with your level of intelligence.

I actually hate the "pat on the head" at the end. Sure, it's nice to be recognized for doing something, but I get embarassed by a lot of attention (especially IRL) If I had to choose between the pat on the head or the idea, the idea would wind hands down.

Yet the underlying theme of all your grief is performance. It's ultimately what you care about. For better or worse, it's what makes you tick. Some days you love it, other days you hate it... That doesn't define a genius, but it does generally define someone who performs well in academics.

I mean, I have test scores and the fact that I'm doing work two grades ahead of my peers that would back up that I'm gifted, but why would you say that?

Because you seem to think intelligence is like this broad power that gives you the ability to learn anything. It is not. You can have a better understanding of quantum computing then anyone on the planet and still be a moron. Just because you read a book on string theory does not mean that someone who hasn't is dumber than you. If you think you can learn anything easily you are nothing more then a narcissistic idiot, because no one can.

Maybe the answer can be found outside of the boring confines of STEM.

If we are to conclude that some facts derive from synthetic a priori concepts, then it isn't really ones ability to take in new concepts. The ability to be "smart" in a field is just the person's ability to put to use the synthetic a priori concepts and their subsequent and related principles.

Well, first for the earth being a sphere, there are a number of ways to test that. First of all, when we have lunar eclipses, the shadow the Earth cast's is ALWAYS a circle. If the earth wasn't a sphere, it wouldn't cast the circle shadow every time. Another way to test it would be to stick a pole in the ground at two different spots, at the same lattitude, but different latitudes, or vice-versa and record their shadows at noon, and there will be a difference in their shadows. The difference is causes by the Earth's curvature. That answers your first question

Spinning 1000 mph, that can be shown by a nifty experiment called the the Foucault pendulum, which does demonstrate that the Earth is spinning. I would suggest googling it, it's quite a cool experiment and there's one at our local science museum.

there's already a few mistakes here first thing I said (visually) I wanna see and if you can make me feel it

      the lunar eclipse
you say it happens cause the earth is spinning and cast a shadow how can you prove the earth is spinning? please get me a video that's not CGI, if you want I'll help I know exactly where to look https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njCDZWTI-xg

      1) when you see a piece of land I want you to record it okay
      2) than I want you measure that piece of land in miles (esitmate) nothing prefect
      3) and I want you too record for 3 minutes
      4) than I want you too measure the distance from where the piece of land started to where it is at the 3 minute mark

and remember the earth is spinning at 1000 mph, than tell me is the earth actually spinning at 1000 mph?

are you sure this video on youtube that NASA has put up is TRUE
cause I've been told to test everything just cause NASA put it up doesn't mean it's true

does the earth really move 1000 mph?
or is it the ISS space shuttle moving 1000mph?
is the earth really moving at all?
or is it the space shuttle?

I need you too understand something just cause it's in a text book doesn't mean it's true
there's a reason I want you to do the math I've done it myself

and I will tell you straight up that video of ISS that is supposedly of space that I showed you is a lie

the earth that you see on the screen is moving about 100 miles a minute estimated
I've done the math myself now whether you believe me that's up too you

that's why i said do the math yourself so you know im not lying too you

Also, the reason that the earth appears to go slower than 1000 mph is because the ISS isn't a satellite that stays in one place as the earth turns, it's going around the Earth.

okay lets assume this video is true
      here is my question
what is moving the earth or satellite?
now you are gonna say both are moving

now prove both are moving and not just one
how could you prove that the earth and satellite are both moving?

the only thing you can do is trust NASA and hope there not lying it really is the only way
cause 40% of whats in school textbooks are lies and that's a proven fact just simple stuff
      you can research it yourself

now as for space that's tougher to debunk but not impossible, you are young look into it yourself or pray and hope you are not being lied too by the human race lol

      good luck with that
