Three reasons why I think vegans are silly:
I believe in sustainable agriculture.
I understand that mass producing crops destroys our environment (and animals environments).
I understand that mass producing crops is one of the biggest culprits of water pollution.
I'm not ashamed of eating dead animals. If I was eating bacon and someone came up and said, "you're eating a dead pig" I would say "and it's delicious".
I honestly tried going vegan for a day, and it made me sick. I have to have the protein from the meat.
Ah the "protein" excuse.
Don't people realize that all protein you consumed ultimately came from a plant?
go vegan 1 day, sick. MUST BE THE VEGAN DIET. Also what the fuck you need protein from meat what fucking condition is this.
You can also get protein from beans and nuts. :)

I absolutely love meat and I know that the food ultimately came from a plant. Which means I am a vegetarian, I just have an animal digest it before me
Are you trolling when you say "I'm a vegetarian" and also you can get the protein from plants before being digested by animals.

for the doggy photo, looks like the dog festival in China/Korea. Difference is they beat the dogs for fun and skin them alive for taste of meat and entertainment.
it's in china, and people do exactly the same to other animals...
there are countless videos of factory workers beating up chickens and turkeys for their own entertainment, and people also skin some animals alive.
there are fruits and vegetables that require treating before human consumption. with your logic we also shouldn't eat fruit and vegetables...

Yummy meat especially the meat comes from pigs. You can do all sorts with it. It is a part of nature. All animals eat meat.
but do all animals capture their prey, place it in a filthy factory, inject it with weird shit just so it can stay alive (which should really mean something about the quality of the place they're held in) and eventually kill them like some harvest?
I think there was some kind of bug or parasite or whatever species that pretty much farmed other critters.

Meat is a necessary protein to eat and I hope we never stop eating it. We will also eat plants and eat the animals that eat the plants, and eat the animals that eat those animals.

There is nothing natural about the way we raise animals and all the protein you ever ate came from a plant. The only reason it's in the meat is because the animal ate it.

We don't know that it will be a permanent part of out lives and we will continue to campaign against it and we won't stop because some people tell us to get used to it.
the meat industry won't be reformed because the demand is too high and they want to make money quick and fast if people don't lower the amount they eat and demand better standards it'll never reform. So since you think plants are more important than animals cos of oxygen and food wouldn't they also be more important than the average human. The meat industry cuts down a shit ton of plants and uses it for the cattle if we ate less meat areas would return to a more natural bio-diverse area of plants.
@Josht13 The meat I eat isn't in as high demand as for fast food restaurants and the like are. This is why cattle and pigs are slaughtered like industry and at factory speed. I didn't say plants were more important than animals, I specifically said they were the same: Life. Meat is delicious, meat is a part of my life.

Look at the amount of E coli outbreaks just from faults in this. Inspections don't slow the meat production in a large scale

I've seen how they usually just snap and break a chicken's neck while it's still alive. That is a reform we need, more humane ways of treatment, because they're also kept in filth, contributing again to the diseases. It doesn't change my mind about meat
Yes it does because it's like you saying that I don't have a problem with you acquiring your possessions by purchasing them so long as you don't give me a hassle about me acquiring my possessions by stealing them; in both cases (eating meat and stealing) the action has a victim and the alternative (being vegan and purchasing) does not.

@4465loveyou5577 The little animal in question is at a fixed point in a food chain. A pig, a chicken or a cow, even in their wild forms they are prey animals. Their niche in the ecosystem is to consume grass and be eaten by predators. We've found a way to efficiently do that, and we're not the only animal to do so. Yes, I like the way this thing tastes. Yes, I like the efficient push of proteins it gives me.
