I'm not ashamed of eating dead animals. If I was eating bacon and someone came up and said, "you're eating a dead pig" I would say "and it's delicious". I honestly tried going vegan for a day, and it made me sick. I have to have the protein from the meat.
@RainbowFanGirl, @4465loveyou5577, @Josht13 I do actually need the protein. If I don't have enough I'll get sick. I don't know why this is. Call me a carnivore. I absolutely love meat and I know that the food ultimately came from a plant. Which means I am a vegetarian, I just have an animal digest it before me
love this take! I'm vegan too and I agree, the most annoying thing about a meat eater is when they purposefully try to mock us or test our lifestyle just because they feel threatened. If I don't force my lifestyle on them, they should reciprocate.
"Science has proofs that pigs are way smarter than dogs, why are they worth less?"
Because pigs are not predators. Look at all the animals: dogs and cats are predators, pigs and chickens are not. And look who eats whom. Humans are predators as well.
"- If humans naturally eat meat, explain why raw meat is bad for us."
Evolution and not having the dietary tract for it. Also, humans can eat raw meat. Eskimos eat caribou raw.
"- Like 99% of you said you wouldn't step on a puppy for a million dollars, but you're willingly paying for other people to do the same to other baby animals everyday. So let me get this straight, if you're not the one who's doing the dirty job, then it's ethical and normal, ohhhh, okay I get it now!"
Same reason we have cops and soldiers.
"- Why are you so obsessed over the canine thing? There are many herbivores who have canines, you know"
Also, yes we don't want to kill our dogs and don't care about chickens like how we don't want our family members to die, but don't care about others: self-preservative nature.
Great take ! I finally found a vegetarian (or are you vegan?) who thinks like me : The problem is not really that we kill the animals but the way they're treated.
for the doggy photo, looks like the dog festival in China/Korea. Difference is they beat the dogs for fun and skin them alive for taste of meat and entertainment.

it's in china, and people do exactly the same to other animals... there are countless videos of factory workers beating up chickens and turkeys for their own entertainment, and people also skin some animals alive.
Yummy meat especially the meat comes from pigs. You can do all sorts with it. It is a part of nature. All animals eat meat.

but do all animals capture their prey, place it in a filthy factory, inject it with weird shit just so it can stay alive (which should really mean something about the quality of the place they're held in) and eventually kill them like some harvest?
What about the fact that we're consumers? What about the fact that plants don't have feelings? What about the fact that you need to feed an animal 4-10 calories worth of vegetation to get one calorie in meat?
1. That we have to eat biomass of some kind of some kind or we die 2. Plants don't have feelings like we do but animals do 3. That animals have to be fed in order to grow so you'd have to grow and kill the plants anyway to eat meat (in fact you'd kill more)
1. It was a joke 2. It was sarcasm 3. It was comparing the animal rights' activists against plants, them saying that animals are more important somehow than the beings that give us oxygen and feed us. Meat is a necessary protein to eat and I hope we never stop eating it. We will also eat plants and eat the animals that eat the plants, and eat the animals that eat those animals.
There is nothing natural about the way we raise animals and all the protein you ever ate came from a plant. The only reason it's in the meat is because the animal ate it.
@4465loveyou5577 Humans, we are animals. We are a part of nature, and all the technology comes along with it. "Natural" is a term invented by humans. Meat is delicious, I will never stop eating meat, the Meat Industry needs to be reformed, I know, but meat is a permanent part of our lives. Get used to it
We don't know that it will be a permanent part of out lives and we will continue to campaign against it and we won't stop because some people tell us to get used to it.
the meat industry won't be reformed because the demand is too high and they want to make money quick and fast if people don't lower the amount they eat and demand better standards it'll never reform. So since you think plants are more important than animals cos of oxygen and food wouldn't they also be more important than the average human. The meat industry cuts down a shit ton of plants and uses it for the cattle if we ate less meat areas would return to a more natural bio-diverse area of plants.
@Josht13 The meat I eat isn't in as high demand as for fast food restaurants and the like are. This is why cattle and pigs are slaughtered like industry and at factory speed. I didn't say plants were more important than animals, I specifically said they were the same: Life. Meat is delicious, meat is a part of my life.
@4465loveyou5577 It's liberals like you that honestly make life harder for me than fucking conservatives. Don't be a turd and make me block you, I don't have the time for a debate today.
@4465loveyou5577 They might be vegans for different reasons. Health reasons. I'm less adamant about that. And really, I don't have a problem with you being vegan. But if you take my meat away, I get mad. Kapeesh?
@Josht13 When I say reform the Meat Industry, I mean inspections. I mean higher wages for their horribly underpaid workers. I want people to be able to know what they're shoveling into their mouths. Look at the amount of E coli outbreaks just from faults in this. Inspections don't slow the meat production in a large scale
" And really, I don't have a problem with you being vegan. But if you take my meat away, I get mad. Kapeesh?" Now you're invoking a false equivalence, your actions have a victim and mine don't. That's like saying if you think stealing is wrong I don't have a problem with it but if you try to stop me from stealing I get mad, kapeesh?
Higher wages for the workers that basically torture animals, I'm not saying turn vegan but just be aware of the shit with the meat industry your priorities for it are BS and I'm starting to think you're more of an edgelord just watch like 20 mins of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0awGljxTR_U
@4465loveyou5577 Oh no, that analogy does not work. I said I don't have a problem with you being vegan, meaning the way you eat. It's not my right to tell you what to eat. But neither is it yours. You're not the food police, you don't get to decide what people eat. Once again, don't start an argument. I don't wanna be the douche who blocks u out of nowhere but I will if I have to.
@Josht13 I'm not gonna watch 20 minutes, going to my dad's very soon. But I know. I've seen the horrible execution-like ways they take down pigs in hog-houses. I've seen how they usually just snap and break a chicken's neck while it's still alive. That is a reform we need, more humane ways of treatment, because they're also kept in filth, contributing again to the diseases. It doesn't change my mind about meat
Yes it does because it's like you saying that I don't have a problem with you acquiring your possessions by purchasing them so long as you don't give me a hassle about me acquiring my possessions by stealing them; in both cases (eating meat and stealing) the action has a victim and the alternative (being vegan and purchasing) does not.
@4465loveyou5577 Alright let me rephrase this, in a way that you'll understand: Stop commenting here, or I'll block you
The food vegans eat is gross and in some ways unnatural, as well. Meat is delicious, there is no substitute for it, you can't prevent me from eating what I want to eat, this is the way the world works, deal with it or become a fascist dictator of your own vegan country
Yeah, we're such evil fascists, that's why we want to stop suffering, and really, just because you like the way something tastes that is reason enough to make an innocent animal suffer? Do you listen to yourself? How egotistical can you get?
@4465loveyou5577 The little animal in question is at a fixed point in a food chain. A pig, a chicken or a cow, even in their wild forms they are prey animals. Their niche in the ecosystem is to consume grass and be eaten by predators. We've found a way to efficiently do that, and we're not the only animal to do so. Yes, I like the way this thing tastes. Yes, I like the efficient push of proteins it gives me.
Now I'm gonna block you, since you seem to be ignoring my warnings.

Ah the "protein" excuse.
Don't people realize that all protein you consumed ultimately came from a plant?
go vegan 1 day, sick. MUST BE THE VEGAN DIET. Also what the fuck you need protein from meat what fucking condition is this.
You can also get protein from beans and nuts. :)
@RainbowFanGirl, @4465loveyou5577, @Josht13
I do actually need the protein. If I don't have enough I'll get sick. I don't know why this is. Call me a carnivore.

Are you trolling when you say "I'm a vegetarian" and also you can get the protein from plants before being digested by animals.
Do you have a condition that will make you sick if you don't get enough protein?
Do you have some sort of protein deficiency? You should go get that checked out then.
@RainbowFanGirl I don't have a condition, but I do need protein.
Besides that, I love meat. I don't want to eat plants all day. I want a mix of it all
Beautiful my take. I see you are very well educated.
thank you

there are fruits and vegetables that require treating before human consumption. with your logic we also shouldn't eat fruit and vegetables...
All of this is your feelings and no facts. This is why people dont like your cult.
Those dogs look really tasty :v
PETA's gonna kill me and eat me raw for that comment XD
Not sure how I feel about this 'rant' but... ok.
Yummy meat especially the meat comes from pigs. You can do all sorts with it. It is a part of nature. All animals eat meat.

I think there was some kind of bug or parasite or whatever species that pretty much farmed other critters.
"Why is one picture inhumane and controversial but the second is natural and okay?" Good question, I've eaten and enjoyed both.
"All life matters" I disagree.
people care too much. that's our problem. it's going to be the culprit of our own doomsday.
Interesting take, your rant is justified :)
I'm a meat lover and I'm proud!
I love meat so much 😊
WHAT ABOUT THE PLANTS?
What about the fact that we're consumers?
What about the fact that plants don't have feelings?
What about the fact that you need to feed an animal 4-10 calories worth of vegetation to get one calorie in meat?
@4465loveyou5577 Excuse et moi?

1. That we have to eat biomass of some kind of some kind or we die
2. Plants don't have feelings like we do but animals do
3. That animals have to be fed in order to grow so you'd have to grow and kill the plants anyway to eat meat (in fact you'd kill more)

What does this have to do with politics?
what meat do you eat? some tropical shit?
@4465loveyou5577 This is a liberal ideal, here. And I didn't mention politics. These are ideals.
@Josht13 No, I eat steak. Ribs. Shit I don't get from McDonalds
How is it "liberal"
Yeah, I'm a liberal but I've known many conservative vegans as well.
Yeah but that meat is in high demand and they all come from similar sources. Unless you've found a specific farm that's good, very unlikely.
