Pregnancy is the only legitimate issue here, and some might consider that a plus for the intimidate opportunity it gives you to bond with your offspring. Also eggs are more valuable than sperm, so you can sell them for a sweet profit.

I'm pretty sure media presented us with lots of expectations physical, emotional social constructs etc. as well but I can't name many off the top of my head because, well, it's the media. Why would you take stuff so seriously? That's not a female problem, sounds more like a personal failure of your own. You're too thin skinned, and too much a sheep, that's a bad combo babe... OBEY

For example your first ine about girls and their body image
Yea thats sucks and all but scociety tells us as men that we can't be offened by it so even if we are we have to keep our feelings about it bottled up or we will be made fun of for being a bitch
I don't know which gender has it harder guys have it harder in some aspects and women have it harder in others

Let's not forget that when you're a female, society kisses your ass and you get the better end of almost all double standards, why? Because you have a vagina.

What double standards are thinking about exactly? I know both genders have double standards but list all of the one your talking about so we can discuss.

And what do you mean exactly by society kisses their ass?

Man, there are a lot of them, I can't list them right now. And society absolutely kisses their asses. I used to work as a longshoreman, and when you work in that industry, you don't have a set schedule. You stand in a hiring hall, and if the work reaches the spot you stand on, you get work that day, if it doesn't reach you, then you're shit out luck. So one time, the work reached me, and it missed a woman behind me by about 8 spots. She went to the office and cried (and I mean literally cried, not figuratively) about how she needs work. So they ended up taking my job away and giving it to her. Now, do you think a grown man would get his way if he acted that way? Absolutely not.

If you think something is wrong do what you can to fix it. Everything is perception if you think you have it harder, then you do. If you don't, then you don't. in my opinion most people create most of their own obstacles sitting around talking about who has it harder is a silly pissing contest that nothing useful can possibility come from it.

That's so dull. Guys are no less concerned about body shape. Just like a girl wants ass a guy needs abs. And so on.. Please don't tell me his looks don't matter: if he's athletic or obese, hairy like animal or clean dehaired, nice haircut or bald.. What makes a guy hot if it's not appearance (along with behavior which is a separate topic). His wallet? Maybe the asker implies this.. poor gold-digger. No, it seems he's male.. feminist!!! piece-o-shhhhht

I am glad you admit about the dating and relationship thing when it comes to guys. Most of the time when a guy brings that up that guys have it harder in that most women refuse to admit it, are in denial or call them a baby for not being able to handle rejection. It is preety sad that only some women like you realize the hardship guys have in that area without calling them a baby. I most of those women calling guys babies would be ''babies too'' if they had to deal with what so many guys deal with when it comes to dating and relationships.

@Azara because girls rarely make the first move even I they like someone, and it's expected for the guy to ask the girl out etc. So inevitably girls have the role of saying no or yes, while guys are rejected or accepted.

@steven7890789 i disagree. women make the first move all the time, plus guys dont have to deal with getting rejected BECAUSE they made the first move. being 'expected' to means its accepted when you do it. in this respect that makes it harder for women to make the fat move. so guys making the fits move is easier for them to do. they may do it more but its easier. and women still do it a lot. plus i dont expect guys to make the first move. many people dont. when you say society you're not talking about society but about some people with certain views. that does not explain away peoples actual experience. its no better than a mantra.

OR men can pay women for giving birth to their children. Otherwise men are just entitled. Expecting to reap the benefits (children) for all the pain women go through (childbirth), meanwhile they won't allow women to reap any benefits (freedom) for what they go through (signing up for the draft).

Bullshit, i want you to have the same job, economic, political, and social oppurtunities as men. I also want men and women to be disciplined equally. I don't hold bias for any gender. You don't want equal treatment if you want one gender to have more rights over the other. Or you want one gender to have more leniant punishment than the other purely because their a certain gender.

The issue here is that you think girls deserve more rights , oppurtunities, and an easier time than men, not equal treatment for both genders. If its not equal, it not gender equality.

This "lady" makes no sense. Women will have to sign up for the draft if men have to too. There isn't any exceptions. A child birth stimulator is stupid. Paying for rights over a child is stupid because each parent automatically have rights over the child because the baby is a part of them both.

@Jeeevan no it is not? It was the woman who did all the pain of gestation. Even if it was "a part of" the man, you don't get it for free just because it's "a part of you." People have to pay about 100,000 dollars in order to get a surrogate mother to gestate their child for them.

Even so, the woman should have 50% rights and so should the man. It's only fair. It is a part of a man though, a man and female both give a equal amount of chromosomes. Men shouldn't have to pay 100,000 for ther baby. It''s wrong. It should be about who would give the child a better life and how is better fit to take care of it (if divorce ocured)

Of course I'm just going by the logic that women should have to sign up for the draft in order to have rights. If equal rights necessitate equal prerequisites, then they do, in all cases. You can't pick and choose.

I know the woman goes through the main but if you are divorces and you want to know who will get the child. It shouldn't automatically go to the woman. It should be the parent who can give the child a better life, financhially good and who is mentally stable.

"I'm just telling you the way you are thinking is wrong, what you want is women to have less rights" if they don't sign up for the draft.

So I'm using your logic as an example of why that's bullshit. If "equal rights necessitate equal prerequisites", then they do in ALL cases, and therefore it would be justifiable to make it so, as you said, "fathers have less rights" if they don't undergo a birth stimulator or pay for the mothers services.

I mean, a woman has to pay money if she wants another person to gestate her child for her (through surrogacy). wouldn't it be "equality" for men to have to do the same?

@Maverickj Custody rights are indeed a lawful issue.

If, in the name of equality, laws and prerequisites to distribution of rights, always have to be the exact same for everyone, regardless of anatomical and physiological differences, then men would have to pay the mother in order to get equal righrs over the child, because if a WOMAN wants somebody else to gestate her child for her, she has to pay $100,000, 1/3 of which goes to the woman doing the gestating.

Men can't carry a baby, women can. It's natural. The parents of a baby should have 50/50 rights. If it's a divorce then the parent which can provide and care for the child best should keep the baby.

@Jeeevan if a woman is incapable of experiencing a pregnancy, for whatever reason, and she wants someone to gestate her child, she still has to pay the $100,000.

They don't cost 100,000 that's simply not true, i think it's good that people have to pay for children because by not your essentially saying they are worthless.

@Jeeevan but you're also saying that men shouldn't have to pay the woman who givee birth to his child. But women have to pay the women who give birth to their child

      And seriously look it up

Why should men have to pay women who give birth to BOTH of their child? If it's both of their child then both of them will take care of the child and provide for it so men shouldn't have to pay. I looked it up and it says 14,500. I hate people like you who think they are entitled.

@Jeeevan I'M the entitled one? YOU'RE the one who wants full parental rights without paying like a WOMAN would have to, if she had someone else give birth to her child. You think women deserve NO compensation for everything they go through?

@Jeeevan & of course the man would help take care of the child, but that doesn't compensate for the childbirth the woman went through. she should be compensated for that too

The way your looking at things is actually fucked up. You are acting entitled so shut up. I said 50/50 rights if you could read.

@Jeeevan Acting entitled? Why? Because this is EQUALITY? If women want someone else to give birth to their children they have to pay for it!

Well if we go with your logic that is equality for paying someone else to give birth to YOUR child because they will be going through 9 months of pain and the pain of actually giving birth for you, do you expect to get that for free? Stop acting entitled.

@Jeeevan exactlu. That's why men would have to pay the birth givers of their children

Are you stupid? No we shouldn't. It should cost nothing unless you want another woman to give birth to your baby. Again, stop acting entitled.

Women are able to falsely accuse men of raping them and they get alimony benefits and end up taking your house.

Yes! Until men can experience the pain of child birth, don't complain.

I don't think one gender has it harder over the other. You really can't compare them. They each have their own struggles, strengths, and weaknesses.
