FWIW: I don't wear clothes in my home or in my yard or on my patio. That being said... I have wondered for a long time why people wear clothes; unless they're cold. I'm never cold.

you're aware that the reason toddlers dont mind seeing their parents nude is because they haven't been conditioned to find it strange.

Toddlers already run around naked. They hate clothes, which is a purely natural and instinctual reaction to wearing them.
No Im not going to say that girls won't be looked at and guys won't be looked at, but if you even the slightest grasp on psychology, you would realise that the reason we look so hard and so much, is because we want to know whats under the clothes. Its forbidden fruit.
There's a reason less sexual crimes happen in nudist resorts than places people have to cover up. Because the mystery is gone. Its like that kid who stole his parents alcohol. Constantly being told he can't touch, yet other kids whose parents are less strict about alcohol won't touch it, not because they dont want it, but because there's no mystery, there's no excitement getting a taste of the forbidden fruit. They already know what its about which makes it not quite boring, simply unexciting.
Once upon a time going to the beach was the greatest gift my parents could bestow. We went maybe once a year when the weather was it its hottest.
It was exciting, amazing, and I loathed when it came time to go home.
Now I live a twenty minute walk from the beach and I never visit. The excitement has gone because it is always there. It will never be gone. I go for walks now and then and its pleasant. Never boring, i love the beach too much for boredom, but never that excitement from when the beach was so far away, out of reach.
Its the same as clothes. The longer I spend without clothes in my room, the less likely I am to touch myself. The longer I spend with my boyfriend and we're both nude, the less likely we are to touch each other. Because the excitement for each others nudity fades and it becomes normal. Never boring, but simply a little more effort to get in the mood than just the sight of my tits and his dick.
There is so much you obviously dont understand about nudity and your own psyche. But I suppose it isn't your fault that youve fallen so far into your conditioning.

I simply meant to say that you are reacting the idea of nudity in the way you were raised to. You are not being a sheep, you are simply thinking in a way you had not realised were somebody elses thoughts.
A girl in my psych class is terrified of bees, and has no reason to be. But her parents are too, and she has unknowingly modelled their behaviour towards bees.
It is the same with anyone who was raised with consistent ideals. I am cautious around black people because I was raised in a highly racist environment. I have nothing against them, its simply a conditioning I am slowly breaking out of.
I am weirded out by homosexuality, even though I am attracted to my own gender. Because I grew up being fed the idea that it is wrong. Not because it is wrong. But because thats the idea I was fed.
Its the same with nudity.
Im not saying there is no reason not to go without clothes. There is the weather and climate and temperature (which really all mean the same thing in context) and there's safety reasons for clothing such as when cooking, in a lab, wearing shoes etc.
But social reasons are generally nonsensical. Due to this conditioning that nudity is a big no no.

Conditioning is not something you will realise has happened until long after it has, or if a person points. Sometimes you might realise it's happening while it is, but when it comes to the way a person is raised, or subliminal messages being conveyed through media. It's not something you are going to notice.

I am simply arguing for you to consider the possibility that perhaps you took on board an ideal without fully realising it.

It's something in the wiring of the brain, then. Some ingrained part of us. I'm no psychologist, I ain't sure. I watched a Vsauce video once, though, and apparently our wearing of clothes is partially related to our human intelligence.
