Well, I'll be voting for Johnson, but I also have to agree that Hillary or Trump in the White House seems inevitable, regardless of who we'll vote for in this election.
But would you, at least, entertain making this inevitable defeat a long-term victory? If the Libertarian Party gets ≥5% of votes, it will get government funding (like the 2 "too big to fail "private clubs we call parties). With disgust for Hillary and Trump at such high levels, we might actually make this a historical vote that will help level the playing field for future elections.
@N192K001 Sorry man. I can't begin to describe how much I hate Socialism and I feel we must vote Trump becaus Hillary will put us there after 8 years of Barrack
what if all these four candidates had equal chance of winning, you had no idea what anyone else was going to vote, and there was no endorsements, on judge of character and policy, who would you vote?
no, that's fine, i just want to make sure you know what he stands for, that's all, a lot of people vote based on who they think will win, not who's a good leader, nor who has the best personality for the job.
@VictoriousSausage I think he is the best man for the job. I am 50 years old... I have seen a lot of presidential elections. When I was your age I saw Reagan speak. I was 50 ft away from him. One of the best moments of my life. And by the way... I know who I want an why I want it. I dont know someone making sure I understand what he stands for.
Alright, i'm not saying you're bad for that, your decision is your decision, and as long as you feel represented, that's good, because that's part of democracies, i personally don't agree with Trump, or any of his standings on anything, but it's not my election, i'm British, and we're trying to sort a heck of a lot out here before we go over Brexit falls in two years, and as a man of the Royal navy, that makes me extremely nervous, because Britain's Navy or armed forces isn't big enough to defend it against anyone, and we rely on the other European powers to help us in times of need. but i hope you enjoy the general election, i'll be watching it closely, and i hope, for all our sake, your nation makes a good decision for leader, or you choose a leader that makes good choices.
i know what Hilary is planning, and in a lot of ways, she's very similar to a lot of the conservatives in this country, some of them are alright, i like Winston Churchill, but people like Theresa May and David Cameron just annoy me to all ends, and Nigel Farage just makes me want to cry some times. Politics in this country is on a roller coaster at the moment, just be glad your country didn't vote out of a union during one of the largest migrant crisis the world has seen and repeated terror attacks on neighboring countries, while dealing with internal struggles for independence and internal right wing extremism.
i think it would change any rational persons mind. but i do think there are a lot of people in this world who have made up their minds and their minds are going to stay that way from now until the moment of their death. probably very soon by the very thing that they supported.
i was so depressed and betrayed after rand paul dropped out of the race but now gary has a better chance than he ever did. even if he doesn't win... we can fuck up the 2 party system real good
Donald Trump! Stein and Johnson is like throwing your vote away. They've got no chance. Sadly it takes millions of dollars to have a shot at being president in this country. I would never vote for someone who takes money from Saudi Arabia and acts like feminism is serious business.
Either Gary Johnston or Jill Stein. I do not trust Hilary and Donald. Also Donald is big narcissistic nutcase. Man he's has the biggest ego ever.

Trump. Hillary scares the fucking shit out of me, not to mention her face just pisses me off. I'd rather take loud-mouth mustard head over a cackling demon that lies out of her ass, just sayin'. Man is it great to be American right now -_-
Any vote for a 3rd party candidate is a vote for the democrats I go back and forth on whether to vote or not just because my state will be blue no matter how I vote
A) If you don't live in a swing state, any vote is a 'wasted vote' because the outcome is essentially decided.
B) Gary Johnson and Jill Stein both pull from Clinton more than Trump so your logic that they are a vote for the Democrats is false and actually backwards.
All aboard the Trump Train! My main reason is to stop free trade with China. Second is to end this Obama Care that prevents people from having more hours at work. Third is to lessen the amount of drugs coming across the boarder. Fourth is I'm sick of PC! Added Bonus is it will be funny to see the jokes on the night time talk shows.
voting for a president that isn't mentally ill. I want someone that doesn't tweet bullshit and who actually is mature enough to act the way a president should... and what their policies are of course :)

@TesticleMonster yeah for sure, I always liked Ron Paul and Garry seems similar. I'm not American though so it doesn't matter, I just like watching all the drama this election.
The closest acceptable candidate next to Trump and Hillary according to the predictions in NovemberEven if this candidate doesn't win I wouldn't consider it a thrown away vote but a chance and a signal that I don't think those 2 would be acceptable presidents.
If you vote for Hillary or Trump and that person is elected then you are to blame for allowing them to come to power. Vote for Gary Johnson, the guy knows what he's doing and isn't a crook or a moron.
Vaas: Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact... same fucking thing... over and over again expecting... shit to change... That. Is. Crazy. The first time somebody told me that, I dunno, I thought they were bullshitting me, so, I shot him. The thing is... He was right. And then I started seeing, everywhere I looked, everywhere I looked all these fucking pricks, everywhere I looked, doing the exact same fucking thing... over and over and over and over again thinking 'this time is gonna be different' no, no, no please... This time is gonna be different,
@QuestionMan everyone who believes in the bill of rights and the united states constitution is at least. there are some people who genuinely want to wipe their ass with it. but the 2 parties in their ideal and original form have their roots in libertarianism, its just over the years they've lost touch with that.

Trump. I am not a big fan of his but there are issues he's willing to take on that others don't have the sack to do.
Hillary - I believe she's EVIL, and complete Liar. No ethics whatsoever
Libertarian - I like him but no chance of getting elected so it's a wasted vote

Just a thought...
@N192K001 Sorry man. I can't begin to describe how much I hate Socialism and I feel we must vote Trump becaus Hillary will put us there after 8 years of Barrack
If Johnson can get into the debates, he can win.
@tyber1 damn straight he can win. do you honestly think either of those insane assholes stand a chance toe to toe with him?
I am voting for Trump... There is no way I would vote for Hillary.
what if all these four candidates had equal chance of winning, you had no idea what anyone else was going to vote, and there was no endorsements, on judge of character and policy, who would you vote?
@VictoriousSausage I am voting for who I want to be president. Trump... I know you are just waiting to crucify me. But I dont care.

@VictoriousSausage Well Hillary is just plain evil. If you get it over there... watch Hillary's America.

@TesticleMonster and you are showing me this why? Do you think this is going to change my mind?

@TesticleMonster Someone rational? with a name Testiclemonster... lol

@TesticleMonster No sounds very immature... but I am sure you like it. With that... I will not be reading anymore of your responses.
yeah its only one of the highest rated cartoons of all time, but why would you trust me?
Gary Johnson ftw.
Lower taxes and decrease the government size.

@TesticleMonster Rand Paul was my guy. I've never agreed with a politician on so many issues.

Stein is the best answer to those "But she's a woman!" Hillary supporters.
Any vote for a 3rd party candidate is a vote for the democrats

Oh c'mon... vote anyway! 👍
A) If you don't live in a swing state, any vote is a 'wasted vote' because the outcome is essentially decided.
B) Gary Johnson and Jill Stein both pull from Clinton more than Trump so your logic that they are a vote for the Democrats is false and actually backwards.
your logic is highly troublesome and ironically you WILL give this election to hillary if you continue this self fulfilling prophecy.

This election is horribly awesome.

@TesticleMonster lol that was awesome!
yeah garys a cool guy. i like a president that can make fun of himself.
@TesticleMonster yeah for sure, I always liked Ron Paul and Garry seems similar. I'm not American though so it doesn't matter, I just like watching all the drama this election.

Johnson looks like my neighbor, so I'm voting for him
Why dont people understand 3rd party is a wasted vote
Why don't people understand voting for the lesser of two evils is a wasted vote.
@llorando if you vote third party it skews the votes, which makes a very likely chance for the worst of the two to be in office.
Exactly!!!
That is a vicious circle. If we ever want to break it, we need to stop thinking that first.
@93stepsawayfromhome Exactly
But the fact is, the majority will vote for the main parties. If you dont want someone in office, it would be foolish not to vote for their opponent
Then what do you do if you want neither of the two major candidates in office, @TheButterfly?
@93stepsawayfromhome you pick the better choice between the two. Never once has 3rd party been elected into office. It doesn't work that way
That isn't a democracy.
Also; "it has never happened before, therefore it will not happen". Nice logical fallacy.
If you vote for Hillary or Trump and that person is elected then you are to blame for allowing them to come to power.
Vote for Gary Johnson, the guy knows what he's doing and isn't a crook or a moron.
@TheButterfly Then you must not have read the last section of the Take.
Third parties have been elected several times. The Whigs and the Republican party were third parties.
Okay, I'll have a nice laugh come November when a 3rd party canidate doesn't get elected. Again.
The only one with a fully functioning brain, Trump!
Staying at home isn't an option in this?
Lol. Well, sure you can.
Jill Stein all the way.
I've been a registered Republican since I was 18. I'm voting for Donald Trump. No way in hell would I vote for Hillary.
A 3rd party vote is a vote for Trump. Don't fuck up this election by being a whiny brat. 3rd party's not gonna win so get over it

@QuestionMan
Too fucking right
@QuestionMan There's no way you could accomplish that unless you abolished political parties. Good luck with that

Libertarians are a party, a Third party.
You don't need to abolish anything.
Just vote for who you like best not for who you dislike the least.
@QuestionMan Less than 1/5 of Americans identify as Libertarians
42 percent of Americans Identify as independents currently
Everyone is a libertarian to a certain extent people just don't know it.
@QuestionMan everyone who believes in the bill of rights and the united states constitution is at least. there are some people who genuinely want to wipe their ass with it. but the 2 parties in their ideal and original form have their roots in libertarianism, its just over the years they've lost touch with that.
