BENEFITS FOR MOTHERS

Breastfeeding is (shockingly) the purpose of breasts.

Aside from the obvious of breastfeeding encouraging bonding between mother and child[1], breastfeeding is what evolved by nature to happen as a crucial part of the postpartum recovery process. Breastfeeding relaxes mothers[2], & encourages the healing and recovery of the body and mind after childbirth, hastening postpartum bleeding[6] & lessening chances of postpartum depression and various illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, hypertension, depression, and various cancers[2]. Breastfeeding also produces chemical & hormonal reactions that help women deal better with stress, which is necessary for a new mother for obvious reasons. Breastfeeding mothers report perceiving less anger and stress in response to the same stressful events, as well as more positive moods.[3][4]

LIFELONG BENEFITS FOR CHILDREN

Not only this, but breastmilk has been nicknamed “nature’s vaccine” because it provides babies with immunity from many illnesses, infections, and diseases & provide lifelong benefits by strengthening babies’ immune systems, decreasing chances of allergies, diseases, and even cancers later in life. Breastmilk produces hormones that act as pain suppressors for babies & reduce the intensity of a child’s lifelong reactions to stress. It also reduces the chance of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). In general, breastfed babies have a lower risk of dying, with longer breastfeeding associated with lower risk.[2]

Now upcoming is the part you may want to pay more attention to, because it directly affects YOU!

LIFELONG BENEFITS FOR SOCIETY, OUR FUTURE, & YOU!

Breastfeeding is also good for society, because it causes the children to become less angry, irritable, & hostile as adults, which reduces chances of various crimes.[5] It also increases intelligence & lowers the child's risk of obesity.[2]

What’s more important? The physical and psychological health of a mother and her child, or a person’s whiny desires to not see breastfeeding & refusal to just stop being pissbabies and avert their eyes?

SOCIETAL CONSEQUENCES OF STIGMATIZING BREASTFEEDING

By stigmatizing breastfeeding & making it difficult for women to breastfeed as they please, people are actively harming both mothers and children. If you don’t care about the health of women (mothers in particular), at least care about the fact that you’re decreasing the health and immunity of both males and females of the next generation of adults in our society.

Not only this, but you're harming the future of our society, by clipping the wings of our next future of leaders, increasing chances of obesity & crimes, & lowering the average IQ of our citizens.

So...you have 2 choices. Stop being a whiny pissbaby & just avert your eyes. OR, perpetuate the stigmatization of breastfeeding & increase the chances that you'll be a victim of violent crime in the future, among other things. Which is more important?

So, if you want to stigmatize breastfeeding, then go ahead. But don't complain when later on, you're the victim of many more crimes than you would've been if only breastfeeding had not been stigmatized, & our next future of leaders are even more dumb than the current ones.

It will be, at least partially, your fault.
