These are points that don't apply to feminism in the west, which is the chapter of feminism that gets all of the bad rep. The west's 3rd wave feminism, the way it is now, is not necessary in any society. It's an annoyance at best.
All people need organizations to back them but that is not needed here right now. It would be able to do so much for those societies that really need it. I don't know much about your society. However Feminist companies will only send money to support women in places that usually usually maime or kill them and often used ladies because they don't have any rights.
In the US feminism is an excuse to hate men when it could be a great movement that helps and protects those that really need it in many parts of the world. Here feminist's won't be able to do anything or stand for anything more than feminazis until they put value on the family. Instead of just fame and fortune in the work place.
This is the worst list of reasons for feminism ever 🙈🙈 Are you trolling? Do you really think people are just automatically going to find darker skin girls beautiful because feminist said so? Hey, people like what they like and no movement is going to change that.
You do realize in India alone skin whitening products is a 14 million industry? there are people out there thinking the lighter you are the prettier you are.
@NatashaJ I've seen plenty of ugly light skinned girls and plenty of beautiful dark skinned ones. I disagree with colorism. Yes, many people in the black community prefer light skin over dark skin and some even want mixed babies with light skin just because. Feminism is needed but to goes about it the wrong way, respect is not demanded, it's earned, i've seen and read about a lot of women in men's fields like engineering who were looked down upon until they showed that they were more than capable.
