  So few people understand what it is that it actually hurts them to try and work it out. Basically you're either theist or atheist as far as the world is concerned. If you say "I'm neither" they get all... huffy. It's hard to categorize.

  Oh, I get that. I actually have the same view actually. My first friend says she's agnostic, claiming that she doesn't know, but if you simply don't have a believe in any gods period, you're by these standards, an atheist.

How can you be agnostic and atheist?

Agnostic the belief in a higher un-explainable power or Gods

Atheist the exact opposite of that, the belief that the supernatural, spiritual, and all that does not exist.

Can't be both bud.

  To be gnostic is a claim of knowledge. Agnostic, the claim of a lack of knowledge.
  
  Atheism, the lack of belief in a god or gods. Not the belief there are no gods. There is a difference. It seems you are confusing agnostic with theist.
  
  Him claiming to be an agnostic atheist is technically correct, but also redundant. Every single person is agnostic. No one has knowledge of the existence of God. Regardless of what some may claim.

  @HorrorFan Well that's how it used to be with Atheism not so much anymore, now a days it seems to be completely anti-anything related to the subject.

  Actually Agnostics don't believe there are higher powers they just don't rule out the possibility of them Atheists do.
  If you believe in higher powers but not any specifically you fall under the umbrella of spiritual if it's one specifically then you believe in a religion or cult depending on the number of other pepole that believe it (I think there has to be 10'000 for it to be seen as a religion).
  
  So your right in that you can't be both, though some pepole will think it's extremely unlikely there are higher powers so feel unsure wether to define themselves as an Atheist or Agnostic.

Asians don't seem to get much attention because they aren't known for any unpleasant behavior.

Whites in skinhead or redneck "outfits" will get negative attention as much as any race or wahtever
