Please stop victimizing men. We couldn't care about petty little shit like this.
If a guy wants to cry he can cry all he wants, no one will judge him.
I don't exactly know why it's so hard for me to cry. It's either because of my high testosterone level or it's my social programming since I was a child or both. Either way, I don't care. It's not in my nature to cry.
Male tears appear to include a sex drive suppressant that impacts women.
As long as that's true men will learn not to cry.
I didn't read the article, but the terms 'real man' needs to be forgotten. There is no such thing as a real man
You have very good points, nice mytake, just recently, I started comforting my friend, some girl broke his heart and he was crying as if it's the end of the world. I hope he gets better someday :(
Tell him that random bloke from a site you're on sends him his condolences.
@FýrdracaDócincel Okay, will do.
You can't just cry about everything. Sometimes you need to man up and get on with the job at hand.
It's no use crying like a little girl.
men are allowed to show emotions just as much as women...
Another female having to make this about females. Here, why don't we rewrite the whole fucking thing just to make this about women?
@Wwwyzzerdd sexist much? i was saying that men can cry it doesn't make them any less manly.. don't need to be a douche about it
I like a man that can come to me with his true emotions instead of hiding them inside and if it takes crying then so f---n be it
Oh yeah I'm sexist for digressing from the topic. This post wasn't about women but here you are having to relate it to women.
Ugh, talking with you is a waste of time. The first thing you do is try to label me a sexist. I'm done, it's so much easier to block you.
@Wwwyzzerdd Go for it sexist idiot
just shows what a coward you are
And of course it got downvoted by toxic masculinity 🙄 why am i not surprised?
This is also a cultural thing. Some cultures have men being the emotional ones and women being more stoic.
Anyone who agrees is being a bitch. Real men only cry when a certain situation calls for it.
I can't even remember the last time i cried
Probably somebodies funeral
"patriarchal society has instilled this belief into ALL males."
Stopped reading after this, because it's wrong.
Awesome Take.
When life's gonna hit you hard, no matter who you are, it will make you cry tears of blood.
Being less emotional by nature =/= suppressing our emotions. Men and women are different. Stop assuming the average female's emotional response as the healthy default for both sexes.
I have noticed I am a lot better at not crying then women as a whole. I just don't feel comfortable letting that kind of emotion out unless I'm really, really down and on my own alone.
I feel ya. I know I'm a woman -- I don't give a fuck.
I usually cry when I am alone. In public.. If it was extreme, like a terrorism attack or a brutal car accident, If I lost someone like a friend, family or SO.
Men who cry are bitches.
You can cry a few times every 5 years. Alone. Don't tell people.
Exactly. Don't cry man up. Seriously, no girl wants a womanly man.
Uhh, I guess I would be considered "manly" with this sort of logic. I hate emotions, and I just don't show them because they're annoying. I don't want to be considered a woman if this emotional shit is tied to our stereotype, tbh.
@the22ndpilot no it's not that. People are to PC I like to be the devil adovacte lol. I wish guys were more manly though. Nothing say I love you when I guys physically holding your hand and protecting you.
Well i came here expecting to get triggered
I left contemplating life
Thanks for writing this. For me I don't trust people with my emotions. I put up a front
That one female downvote, I swear to God.
@FýrdracaDócincel wdym?
They will never get it, regardless of how many times it's explained to them.
@FýrdracaDócincel me putting up a front?
You got it.
@FýrdracaDócincel you see I do in dating because I simply haven't been in a relationship
okay guys, cry, but do it in private or only with your close bros. DO NOT CRY IN FRONT OF WOMEN. they can only lose respect for you
I don't think both genders should cry in public everyone should cry alone, it's not good to show your weakness , unless you really couldn't hold your tears
