To Feminist Haters and White Knights...

First time mytake poster, long time lurker. I've been on GAG forever and I see lots of the same arguments. So let me address the aforementioned groups. They have a problem interacting with women. And I mean women not girls.

For feminist haters...

You guys feel feminists want to abolish men in some sort of testosterone holocaust. Men are no good for anything and are responsible for all the hate that spews from human existence. News Flash: most feminists don’t hate men. They have respectable fathers, brothers, uncles etc. All they want is equal opportunity and to push for women leaders of companies and political movements. Are there extremists who want to demolish all men? Sure. Maybe. But that’s not the social norm with them. They just want recognition and like I said equal representation in a male dominated world. Good ideas for the world or a country shouldn’t be based off genitalia or lack thereof. Good ideas should be unbiased and up for debate. Put yourself in their shoes. What if all your opinions were stifled just because you were a guy and women ran the world?

So you feel you can treat your crush better than her boyfriend can? Did you ever stop to think that maybe that girl you’re crushing on isn’t attracted to your personality and/or looks? In either case there is no reason whatsoever to diminish your original opinion of her. Think of the UGLIEST girl you’ve ever seen. If she starts a conversation with you and she finds you attractive are you obligated to date her? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Neither she nor you have an obligation to date someone just because. Gay, straight, bisexual, asexual, Bert n Ernie sexual whatever. It all comes down to “hey, I’m a normal person who finds you attractive and I would like to talk to you more”. A person who strikes out in your criteria isn’t an abomination of society. Be as normal or as weird as you want to. Don’t ever change your personality for someone else, but maybe make some tweaks to be at least more approachable.

I could go on and I have somewhat specific advice for guys in high school. I've had real good and real bad experience with girls during those 4 years and I feel both experience could help guys. That will be another one.

TL;DR

Don't be a depressed asshole just because you like a girl who doesn't like you. We all have our opinions. Be a more approachable version on yourself.

For feminist haters…Okay, and I’d vouch for the type of feminist that is described in the dictionary as well. But man, you obviously have not been arguing with the feminists I have. Actually, most men merely want the following rights to be fair:

Rights to freedom of speech

Rights to equality

And equal rights to parenthood.

Freedom of speech would include ALL speeches no matter how distasteful or incorrect it is. Feminists react powerfully to speeches that do not confirm their views or speeches they think are harassments.

Equality means fair treatment based on merit and potential instead of favoritism. That means a guy working overtime would have to be paid more than a gal who doesn't. That means opportunities and pay increases for people who are willing and able to work than those with special statuses or conditions. That means someone taking maternity leave can't expect to earn the same promotions and wage as someone who doesn't.

Finally the right to parenthood. A lot of cases favor women when it comes to children. There is a strong idea that the woman is able to take care of the child better than the man.

Certain laws allow the mother to give up the child for adoption if she is not married without the consent of the father. To be true, a lot of guys would disappear after they impregnate a woman. So it would fall to the woman to take on the responsibility (esp true if no abortion allowed). Still, shouldn't there be a system to allow the father to reclaim their children because they didn't consent to it?

It's important to remember that some of us 'feminist haters' aren't like you described here. A lot of feminists fight for what sounds right, and I have no problem with that. However, I can't exactly tell what it is that men have that they don't. There are a lot of things that women can do, but if a man does it all the sudden it's terrible and vice versa. Women CAN get into any job they wish, that is what the EPA and Civil Rights act of 1964 accomplished, women are doctors, lawyers, engineers, in public office roles. Then there is that line, which blatently suggests that its not happening to us while in reality this exact movement is discriminating us constantly and feminist infected organisations such as google are a good example of that. Being critical to women online can get you fired, have your youtube channel demonetized or shut down even when in the rights of someone neutral you have done nothing wrong or you did the things with the best intentions. So claiming in the take that its not a thing already shows a bias that men can't be oppressed by this very movement while in reality its this movement including this take that is encouraging others to oppress men.

Also- You can't get demonetized or fired for being sexist against women. Can you give me a few examples for that? Because when a CEO or a TV show is misogynistic, it usually has a high rating, and people say they love the show. I'm not sure where you get that from.

@sawno That's very interesting. I think it was right of them to demonetize (if that's what happened) because he had viewpoints that were being offensive. It would also be the case if he was offending the LGBTQ+ community, Asian people, blacks, latinos... etc.

As for channels like FeministFrequency, I want you to give me an example of sexism against men that they've made. Like literal insults, just like Fired for Truth is doing against women. I watch FemFreq by the way, just to see what they're up to, but maybe I haven't watched a video where men are being oppressed or demeaned in those videos?

The thing is its not very interesting if they insult anyone, we do not need a baby sitter.
You can insult and swear at me all you want, i would just move on and not think anything better.
Its systematic discrimination that is far more dangerous.

You can't simply demonetize someone from having an offensive viewpoint, i find feminist frequency offensive because they suggest that gamers are incredibly sexist trough for example there male privileged video's rhetorically claiming we harass women. They also suggest that males are entitled implying you should limit there freedom to make things more equal. Idea's that encourage sexism and in other cases if its race based racism.

Its not about who insults who, its not about insulting at all. Its about the fact that feminist frequency is allowed to spread there idea's monetized but if someone is critical off those idea's they are demonetized for having an insulting viewpoint.

when people have a strong opinion on something and another person opposes them, some feel like they need to fight to the death about it. instead of giving the other person a chance to talk at least first. i've been wrong about plenty of things. but i'm not afraid to listen to another person and their reasoning.
