Yup. Misogyny isn't exclusive to men, sadly. You might have noticed, but it's considered uncool to care about women by a vocal minority of men these days. Anyway, the majority of women didn't vote for him. Hell, the majority of the country didn't vote for him. You should keep that in perspective when analyzing what happened with Trump. The breakdown of which women voted for him suggests it was just republicans voting republican, as the statistics closely align with other elections.

I want to attribute some of it to general misanthropy. They hate people, which just happens to include other women. I'd consider that just as bad as misogyny, but it's definitely a factor in the sheer numbers. Others may just have horse blinders on! They only think about boys and women are just irrelevant to them. Some women are like that. Others might just be selfish. They can't empathize with other women and so they're only concerned with their own interests, which happens to include men. Some might be drinking the kool aid of traditionalism and believing that the olde way of doing things was better for women. Some of them might just be neurotic, and their idea of women's rights is just some derpy teenager claiming all sex is rape on Tumblr because they're not as grounded to reality as others and that seems like a big deal to them when in reality it's just a kid saying dumb stuff.

There are a myriad reasons they might have a belief that's questionable at best.

@Marinite And Stockholm syndrome. Also, lots of women have been brought up to think men should be in charge, and to go against that would be too much of an existential treat to who they are. It was a foundational teaching in many Evangelical churches like the one I used to attend. Most of the women bought into it hook, line and sinker. They feel that woman's equality is rebellion against the order of God. That's why we used the term ERA Jezebel to label them.

But there is something called modesty where you share your opinion like gentleman instead of all the negative comments. I'd like to know new things, view points of others , I'm open for learning and not a rigid person. But at last I'm only human.
