With all the diseases, it's not cool for anyone to be sleeping around, male or female.
Perhaps people should just not sleep with people who have STD's... Testing is a thing. It's possible to screw 1 billion men who do not have STD's. It' also possible to screw only 1 person with an STD.
Agreed, this labelling really needs to stop. Especially the double-standard.
It's not jealousy, we just don't want a woman who has been used a ton. it makes her less special.
And women don't want to be with men who sleep around either.
Less women care than men that care. in fact men value virgins, while women dislike them.
As i already said, women should stop shaming each other and women should stop competing with each other because it's childish.
Women dislike MALE virgins. It means he is bad with women.
My b for the misunderstanding.. I've never heard of women who dislike virgins personally. But i have heard that men like virgins because they are a bit territorial as if being the first means they have a claim on the lady. Women who have a body count have already been "claimed" or whatever.
I've heard it plenty of times, women like men who are good with women and are desired by other women. Men like any girl that's pretty and nice.
Only women who are experienced themselves want men of the same caliber. All women want men to know what they're doing, but not all women desire a heavily experienced man.

I pretty much agree with everything you said. The Trouble is American society is probably THE most judgmental society in the world so it's a hard one to get past.
More judgmental than countries where women are forced to wear burkas, aren't allowed in public without a male accompanying them, where people are killed for adultery, stone to death, where gay people are thrown from roofs... Sure.
@englisc That's culture with centuries of precedent and a population that is about 6% college educated. In a western democracy with the opportunity to exploit the mass volumes of information available we CHOOSE to be ignorant and judgmental.
The next time you are in a supermarket, go up to the checkout and look at the papers and magazines there. The Enquirer, the Globe, People etc. etc. Try to bear in mind that these rank among the best selling publications in the US. That is deliberate ignorance. It is a celebration of ignorance and a fundamental cultural plank in a judgmental society.

Here's the thing.. I don't believe in calling women sluts. I don't believe that a woman should be seen as a bad person JUST because she has sex a lot.
BUT if a guy is able to have a lot of sex, it says quite a bit about him. The same just isn't true for a woman who does the same thing for the very reason you yourself discussed.
Sex isn't an accomplishment. Period. Man or woman. Whether it's harder for you or not.

these "claims" were made based off of my personal experience being around people who believe in slut shaming/stud praising and the questions/polls i've read off of this site. I'm not fishing for a response and i'm not looking to provoke anyone. It's just my opinion on labeling and the connotations behind those labels.

Well I think because women have always been seen as the backbone of society, the ones who give birth and nurture children etc. Most women I've come across have said that they need some emotionally connection with a man before they have sex. Plus men's sex drive is usually higher. And it's usually a lot easier for a woman to get laid than what it is for a man. So when a woman sleeps around it does seem a bit strange or shameful.
Only women can be sluts just accept it and stop whining.
