Okay here's my thoughts on this fat acceptance thing. Bigger girls, even a little chubby girls, are okay, as long as it doesn't pose a risk to their health. Being far and obese is NOT HEALTHY. DO NOT NORMALIZE IT. I am self am fat, but I dont bor want to just be accepted for being fat. Because I want to change that. And so should most people. And dont pull the "is society's fault that people like thin/not fat people" no is biology to seek out a healthy mate
Whether you're a guy or a girl, being a Fatty Alfredo or a Tubby Tompkins is not healthy.
being an asshole isn't healthy either. All that stink, man... nobody likes assholes.
This guy might be rude, but he's also correct. I speak from personal family experience. I've watched what a lifetime of being overweight has done to my father (insulin-dependant diabetic, congestive heart failure). He's almost 70, but you would think he was almost 100. He can't walk from one end of the room to another or climb a flight of stairs without being out of breath. If you or anyone else can't handle the fact that being obese is not healthy and is the fast track to a poor quality life, that's a problem. Denial is not a healthy trait either.
Also, it's called being a wise-ass... which is better than being a dumbass. 👍😉
There's a difference between being fat and being a "big girl". One is likely to lead to obesity, a disease, while the other is just a body shape. The two get confused for each other quite a lot I think
Fat people should rather work out than be positive about their ugly, unhealthy body. Leave the body positivity to the short, disabled, or otherwise unattractive people who can't do anything about their body but still get shamed for it.
The girls in the first picture are wearing things that do not flatter their bodies. They all look "frumpy". If bigger girls wore things that flattered their bodies they wouldn't get so much hate, honestly.
like what? And I didn't choose those pics
I'm all for anyone feeling confident within themselves. Period. The thing I don't like (which I'm
Wow I wasn't even finished typing 🙄😑 Anyway, for sure it's cool for big girls to love themselves but what I can't seeing is the hypocrisy (which I didn't see in this article) It's wrong for people to fat shame but it's "okay" for people to say all kind of crap about skinny girls. Or I've seen big girls bitch about being fat shame but then at the same time offend an entire community of people and don't see the hypocrisy
Fat girls... you are the norm... still, nobody but the desperate want you.
It is indeed unfair to judge people by their bodies, so I can understand these feelings.
You are treated with respect. It's just a fact that fat people aren't too pretty.
maybe to you
xx

nah man. Not everyone treats us with respect. Bullying is a clear sign for it.
This is great and all, not bashing it to any degree, but it's another example of double standards against big guys.
well society IS more cruel towards big girls... look at all the ads... women do suffer more because women are more objectified. It's a whole other level.
No see big girls actually have loads of support from virtually everywhere else except advertisements. Big guys have none, you can't make a joke about big girls, but it's perfectly socially acceptable to make fun of big guys. You should reflect a little more on the fact that you stated you feelings, I state facts.
Why are we encouraging fat?
I'm encouraging respect for fellow humans and self-respect.
you can't be serious... you chubby people always complain
when people tell you to be healthy you attack them, thats why i dont take chubby people serious at all.
bitch I'm fucking healthy. healthier than some skinny dude with diabetes and kidney problems because he eats sugar like 5 horses and salt like... I don't know like what. don't give me the BS about "health".
lmao you chubby people are funny af , no wonder we say " fat people are funny" , lmao
you just proved it
I dont really care what people do to their bodies if they put on weight..
you sound like a teenager...
If i did care, it would be seen as criticising or minding their businesse. :)
Yea, obesity is plain disgusting. I know disgusting is a strong word, but that's how I feel about it. You don't have to stave yourself to be in shape, you should have to eat healthier, with seasonable portions.
Big girls are cool. They are way more down to Earth.
LMAO Yet no one ridicules/hates fat men more than fat women.
Fat women will get angry/insulted at the thought of talking to a fat guy... but that won't get mentioned will it?
idc if i sound bad, but i don't want my kids to be big and feel unloved.
seriously? I've never heard of that. maybe you're just a misogynist
lol so just disagreeing makes me hate women? Do you realize how that sounds right? My post history stands for itself, I rage about sexists pretty regularly, but if YOUR definition is "bringing up uncomfortable truths = misogynist" then well... tells us all a lot about you.
@c0ral_reef you get respect for honesty
Health is important.
As long as one functions as they wish, appearance matters not.
Because of this, 'fat' is fine. Obesity is another deal.
Look, you can be who you want. But at the end of the day, what guy do you find more attractive?
neither ew
xx
~ Mrs Manson
Both are extremes but I prefer the guy on the right. Better to be chiseled up than a fucking fatass.
i'm attracted to skinny guys without muscles
xx
~ Mrs Manson
@marilynmansonssextoy I just simply like "fit guys"... I don't like scrawny pale guys who look like they haven't taken a decent walk in years, but I also don't like chiseled up meatheads who look like all they do is lift weights.
Just basically, regular guys who get a healthy amount of exercise, and have a decent body without going over the top.
neither. I like a guy who respects me and my feelings and treats me as an equal. I don't like extremes, but I'm not talking about extremes in my take.
@TheDevilInside I said 'attractive' not 'like'. There's a difference. Nobody cares about what you like.
Society should treat you accordingly to what you are. And you are a bunch of land whales. Stop eating like a wild boar!
