I don't consider myself a male feminist, primarily for one reason. Famous male feminists tend to be creeps. I don't mean like a wolf whistle or a catcall or looking too long. I'm talking molesting women, harassment, locking a woman in a room and faping in front of her. That last part really bothers me. Why are you doing that? Anyway, by your definition, MRA's are feminists. Just about everyone who gets involved in gender activism, with a few exceptions, like TERFS, and radical incels, want equality between the sexes, the question is, more like Keynes vs Hayek, we want the same thing, we just dissagre on how we do it

If every man were a feminist, and every woman an Men's Rights Activist, we would never have sexism of any kind to begin with. Sadly, that kind of mass altruism may never be possible in the human race.

In the USA women have more rights than men and want preferential treatment, so here feminism is just a man hating privilege group that doesn't want equality. They never try to do anything for men's rights.

Basically, your points are valid. However - if it is about equality, then why is it called ''feminism''? If I called myself a ''male-ist'' there would be a shit-storm upon me before I can even explain what I mean to say with it. My conclusion is, that it might be better to disband/forget the whole thing as it is now; and install an updated version. As you mentioned: 100 years ago... does not really touch us any longer.

Why are you so obsessed with the feminist label?
Most people believe in gender equality anyways. They just don't want to wear the label of feminism, which associates them with hateful people like Jessica Valenti and Julie Bindel, and hateful organizations like NOW.
