When a sexual assault victim speaks up, saying they are just being used for political purposes, is just another way of shutting up a woman, who has been sexually assaulted. The intent, is so her sexual assault will not be taken seriously, and she is denigrated into being a political pawn, not a human being, not a woman who is telling her painful story of sexual assault. It's the same old story. A woman is sexually assaulted, so shut her up. Say she is lying. Personally demean her and discredit her. And people wonder why women don't go public when they are sexually assaulted.
