Housing and child care expenses are really high these days in a lot of places, so women usually need to work. Talking care of a household with kids can be a full-time job.
housewives are the American dream... you literally don't have to work! that's fuckin awesome!
If you want to be a housewife, don't let anyone drag you down.

Most guys like myself do not want no one to live off us. Make your own money
If someone wasn't taking care of the kids, much of that money would be spent on childcare. Also, if the family can afford it, then there's nothing wrong with having someone stay home, watch the kids, and do other things as well, so that they don't need to be done later. That way, when everyone is home, the family can enjoy themselves.

I said someone. I never specified that that someone was female.
And that is not the same thing as welfare. The work needs to be done. If one person has a job that pays well enough that they think it's worth it for the other person to stay home and manage the household, that's a perfectly respectable decision.
If you had kids yourself you'd realise how stupid you sound.

But yeah I don't see whats the big deal with being a stay at home parent. Its actually a very important job.
Each his own. However, housewife ONLY would not be enough to me; I have more talents that could be useful 'outside'. Don't blabla with ''full-time'' job - it simply is not.
Well guess it would be better for me to choose "not having children"
Then i can have my guy, my job, my free time, my fit body and live happily.
Being a stay at home mum is a lonely and thankless life.
I stayed home because the cost of daycare would've sucked up all of my pay.
Well everbody has their own choices. But I respect your work.
For what? For eating bon bons, watching tv, and putting on 50 pounds?
Stay at home parents, whatever their gender, take care of the children, thus making it so that the parents don't need to spend money on childcare, and they do other chores so that when everyone is home, the family can actually spend that time with each other, enjoying themselves. I see no reason that a family who can afford it shouldn't have one parent stay home.
There is nothing wrong with being a housewife if that's what YOU want to be and do. I have no issues with it unless it's mandated, either through laws, religion or social constructs. Be what you want to be and do what thou wilt.
Everybody feel so damn entitled these days. Be a stay at home mom? Cool! Go out and work? Cool! Everybody deserves respect.

I have no problem with a bitch who wants to stay home as long as she actually cooks and cleans. She will also have to drain my sack at least once a day. If all of those things are in place, I have no problem with her.
