Topics such as slavery, starvation, is not just about feminism. It happens to the men as well. To me fighting for women means knowledge about abuse and the dynamics between men and women that some view as acceptable, the norm in some cultures. The right to ones own body and mind. The right to equal oppertunities and education for both boys and girls. And to love the feminine, the woman and acknowledge that what we do no matter if it is being a mother or being a student or a career women, we are worth just as much as a man.

See, this is what I don't get. What are we supposed to do? Except for donating money to charities, which I will assume everyone does, there's really nothing you can do. What, do we fly over there? There are already feminists over there fighting for that.

I don't get this attitude you have in general, that "people have it worse so stop complaining" attitude. Yes, people in countries where those things happen have it WAY worse but why should we accept the fact that we feel disrespected in some senses in our own country because of it.
