What I hate is when women, often feminists, say that women have a right to their bodies and their choice on whether or not to be a parent, while simultaneously saying men don't have a right to choose to be a parent. Financial abortions need to become a thing.

Women have something like 20 methods of contraception, plus Plan B.

There's no such thing as an 'accidental' or 'unwanted' pregnancy. In first world countries, if she's pregnant, it's because she wants to be pregnant. Period, end of, full stop.

Im not pro-life or pro-abortion, I'm pro-"Don't be a fucking idiot or hypocrite" and pro-"Call things what they are".

When men are allowed to opt out of any responsibility for their actions the same way men are, *MAYBE* then I'll agree that women should be allowed to murder their babies. Until then, no.

And it's murder, plain and simple. You are, with calculated forethought, ending the life of another person, and it's not in combat or as punishment for a crime that the person has been convicted of beyond a reasonable doubt by a jury. Note that I'm not morally opposed to murder, sometimes some people just need killin', but I believe in calling things what they are.

There are things that suck about being a man and things that suck about being a women. Unfortunately for women, they are the ones who have to worry about getting pregnant, not men. Therefore it is up to them to prevent it if they don't want to bear the consequences.

Abortion is murder. A child in the womb is not part of the mother. Proof? Every cell that belongs to the mother has the same DNA. The baby has different DNA. DNA is what defines an individual, and the baby has different DNA from the moment of conception. The baby also has it's own blood type which can be different from the mothers.

It's up to the woman to prevent pregnancy if she doesn't want to carry the baby until it is born. Once she becomes pregnant she is responsible for the life she conceived. You can't wish that reality away.

The man is also responsible for the life he participated in creating. If the law can guarantee equal rights for fathers, it can guarantee equal responsibilities. Since the woman takes on the physical responsibility of pregnancy, the man should take on the financial responsibility

    Didn’t read the entire thing.
But from what I got out of it, there’s a lot of truth to the fact that there are men who are responsible for this too.

Regardless, there are abortions, (later abortions) that are nothing short of murder.

I recently learned that it involves ripping the baby apart, piece by piece, and sucking them out with a vacuum, or a clamp.
I am not making this up. Look into it. I was very shocked that a “civil” society could be capable of this.

So... when a woman is condemned for doing this, it’s because she’s the one having this done.

I would also like to add that sometimes it is NEITHER of their fault, sometimes birth control, condoms etc safety measures you take are ineffective and accidents happen! Am the perfect living proof result of that one, as my mum was taking birth control pills when she got pregnant with moi lol x

Then let me say this. Regardless of who the mother is, a child should not be born alive and then killed if the mother doesn't want it. Also after 22 weeks it should be a cesarean over an abortion. If she doesn't want the child inside her at least give the child a chance on it's own. Finally adoption really isn't that bad.

"I just think it's really fucking dumb that pro-lifers absolutely forget that men have 100 per cent a part to play in unwanted pregnancies, just as much as a woman does."

Yes, of course a man has equal fault in the matter. Unfortunately, the man does NOT have equal choice in the matter, even though HE is financially responsible for raising the child for the next 18 YEARS.

So yeah, women currently have ALL the rights and choices in this matter, and men have none, So it is only fair that women should also bear the responsibility of birth control.

    The end.

Dear you: "Unwanted" pregnancies ARE just the woman's fault. If a woman honestly doesn't want to have a kid, I don't know, maybe she should just keep her legs closed.
Some girls are just so amazing. They act like sluts, hopping from bed to bed, until, guess what, she gets pregnant!
Who would have thought that if you have sex, you wind up pregnant.

You and you alone are responsible for what you do, but no, if you get pregnant, suddenly it's the man's fault. He put the baby in you! He should have been the responsible one! Blame him!

Oh, well. What's the big deal anyway? You can always kill the baby. It's only murder.

So contradictory 😂. When it comes to abortion it’s the woman’s body so the woman’s choice - and men allegedly aren’t allowed a say because they don’t have a uterus. Aye, jog on. I think the world knows how a baby is made thanks and that it takes two to tango.

However, medical textbooks actually define why many people are pro-lifers - because a life’s a life. And anyone medically minded will tell you so.

    I’m what you call a pro-life, pro-
    Choicer
.. meaning, in my experience I will kindly ask the woman I get pregnant, if she doesn’t want the baby, let me raise the child. I don’t want my seed to be aborted. At the same time, we live in a free society.. I hear all the time, government should not infringe on our rights as citizens from the pro-lifers which usually are conservatives, or traditionalists. So therefore, if government, or people should not infringe on your personal right. Why then is it right for you to infringe on the woman and her decision. You fight for the right to own a gun cause you think that’s more important than anything else. Freedom of choice is the most important concept here. The people involved in the abortion will have to live with themselves, but it’s no one else’s place to tell them what they need to do.

This post doesn't address pro-life arguments against abortion. It's just about who is blamed when unwanted pregnancies occur.

" I've had a girlfriend tell me some dude she wanted to hook up with refused to wear a condom. But, if they have sex anyway, we won't blame the guy... we'll blame the woman".

It takes two to tango, but men don't get pregnant. We do. We are the ones who will have to get an abortion or raise the baby with or without the father, which is why we should be more responsible. That doesn't mean that the men who ditch the women they knocked up are not the scum of the earth.

I mean yea, that's kind of how pregnancy works. I'm not saying there aren't people like the ones you are referring to, but I've never experienced this. That's why there are child support laws, obligating a father to help pay for his child, depending on the state you live in and such.

My argument has always been pro life, though there are extreme instances where something has got to give. I believe if it's a woman's body and it's her choice then likewise no man should have to pay for a child he doesn't want. That to me isn't fair.

As far as the actual act, both people are responsible for their own actions. Guy should have taken all necessary precautions, as should the woman. She allows it to happen, as does he. I think a lot of it comes from people complaining it wasn't intentional, but both intentionally had sex, so argument is irrelevant. Everyone that has sex, man and woman, needs to accept responsibilities and consequences that comes with it.

You do realize that you are enforcing the fact that a woman gets an abortion because of her own stupidity.

Does the man force himself onto her? If no then yes she is stupid for saying hey we don't have protection so we shouldn't.

Sure it's a two way street. But hey that just makes both parties dumb. Those who get abortions usually have low IQ. "It's the heat of the moment" is bullshit.

I can stand by an abortion if the woman was raped. Other than that , it's just poor life choices. Think about it. No one forced you to take in sperm, and if they did it is rape.

Tldr, only made it through half your rant. I'm pro choice and men don't play 100%, it's only 50%. Let's get your math straight first. And yes, outside of anomalies, it is the woman's fault (as well as the mans) for getting pregnant because they chose to have unsafe sex.

Get your math straight first, Sally.

If you 100 per cent choose to put your dick in a woman without a condom with common knowledge that your sperm was intended to conceive children, you are 100 per cent responsible. It isn't just the woman's fault because she had sex. Sex takes two, Stephen Hawking.

And the man made the decision to put his dick in that pussy knowing his balls make sperm to inseminate women to make babies.

We can do this all night if you want to continue stamping your feet saying "it's not my fault!"

For real, that's school shooter logic.

Women who have sex outside of marriage are sluts, men who have sex with women outside of marriage are slut makers. They are both at fault if they end up pregnant, not the child. But the child is the only one that suffers because they get murdered before they can even breath.

YES men can be blamed for unwanted pregnancy! And women can be blamed for unwanted pregnancy as well! But that doesn't justify killing a human! Plus if the problem is unwanted pregnancy then why don't "pro choice" people like the option of adoption! It's because the abortion clinics will pull funding for their campaigns the abortion clinics just want money!

Really good. There should be no laws for abortion. That's just interrupting and doesn't respect other people's point of views and decision. That's murder according to pro lifes but that's considered shedding or discarding according to pro choices or at least to me. But I still don't like sex being taken for granted. Not concerned about the fetus but the mother's health and the cost when she aborts. What people should be caring about is the person who's gonna suffer taking care of that child alone and the child when it grows up as well. "But the baby is innocent" Sure it didn't do anything. Why the hell do we need to keep it? Also it didn't do anything except for the fact that it's inside her womb causing her pain that isn't even gonna be worth it later on. It's called justice.

While that benefits women, that doesn't really affect men's rights and it can benefit the father and the family too such as not paying for child support but the father still needs to pay for the clinic.

You're right it takes two. But except in cases of rape and incest the woman does get to choose the guy she has sex with and if she chooses badly that's kind of on her now isn't it. And there's a lot of women who have a history of making the same bad choices repeatedly. I'm surprised they don't have (subway type club) cards for these women. have 5 abortions get the 6th one free. I do find it funny when you said "Because none of us has EVER been in a situation where we were so blindly horny that we made a dumb decision". Because the fact is we're not animals. We all have desires but we also have a thing called self control. And all your doing with that statement is alleviating her of an responsibility for her actions.

I'm pro life and when ever somone says to me unwanted pregnancies are a thing and I say if you don't want to get pregnant don't have sex. I am vehemently against condoms in my own sex life. So me and my girlfriend don't have sex often and when we do it's oral or anal. We arn't that strict with the whole sodomy thing hahah. But if an unwanted pregnancy from rape or incest occurs on that small percentage of occasion they yes abort it. But I'd say no one should follow me and my gfs mind set. Condoms are a thing bith female and male ones use them and if you don't like the way they feel or what ever excuse don't have sex. And if your response is people should. have the right to have sex when they want. Yes I agree with you but then just like whipping up the cum from the bed sheets or throwing the condom away you need to deal with the repercussions and one of them is having a child if you don't want a child then don't have sex.

Just read though the rest of it and I can't see me getting a mature conversation out of this. I mean uou are passionate about the situation but you don't have control over your emotions to retain and have a mature conversation.

Here is my advice. Stay away from dude who want to not use a condom. If a guy wants to have sex with you and says I'm not using a condom then run for the hills, it won't end well and he is not the type of guy you want regardless of how attractive he is. And if you still go though with it. I have nothing more to say than its your fault.
