2. Knife crime

b. Knife crime in England

Knife crime in London has become a norm and a daily ritual.
More than 20 British teenagers have been stabbed to death in 2019.

Theresa May insists that there is no relationship between the number of police officers and knife crime.

This is because she believes we don't have enough money to hire more police.

There are at least 12,600 homeless people in Britain.

I see homeless people everyday.

8. Houses prices are increasing

My house is on a mortgage. Its value increased from £3 million to £5 million.

British people get 25 years to repay the loan with interest every month.

My dad got less time because of his age.

We have 9 years left to repay one million and 50 thousand pounds.

9. Tuition fees increased

It is now £9000 per year but it depends on the course too.

I am a university student and I go to UCL, which is 7th best university in the world.

I took out a loan.

I live with my parents therefore don't have accommodation costs.

It costs me £200 per month to travel in trains, I go to university 5 days per week.

I am trying my best to get a railcard so I can get 1/3 discount but Santandar declined my application for a student account since I have a bad credit score.

Once, the tuition fees was £3000 and people didn't even take out a loan.

This is all business.

Life is unfair.

Education has become expensive.

Imagine, failing a course and still having to repay the loan for another 20 years.

Good news, people only have to repay the loan when they get a job and if they don't get a job and turn 60, they don't have to pay it anymore.

I am grateful that we can at least take out a loan.

It is a give and take situation.

The only thing I like about Theresa May is that she was Benazir Bhutto's best friend, who was Pakistan's first female Prime Minister. Benazir Bhutto became Pakistan's female prime minister twice and Theresa May found her husband because of Benazir Bhutto.

I also appreciate her speech when she conveyed the message that extremists are not Islamic and terrorism will not divide the country.
