I am very ambivalent about this. Ultimately I will say that the idea of ending a potential life makes me uncomfortable at best but giving the government authority over things women (or anyone else) can and can't do with their bodies is even scarier to me.
So in that regard I hesitantly consider myself pro choice.
You have a point, but for everyone that comes into this category, there are probably more than a 1000 that doesn't. . Wrong gender wrong time. Wrong man. Probably a thousand other excuses to get an abortion. It's used as a form of contraception. That is wrong. With all the different types of contaceptives on the market obortions are still wrong. What rights does your unborn child got that should be your priority...
If it's rape, there must be something done about and the woman must get the full authority but if it's with her husband, the man has thr final decision and the wife will obey, anyways no wife would be sad when her husband makes her pregnant, she will surely ask for more cause he is the man of her life but in case of rape... she should have the full authority and if he was her boyfriend, he have 50% of the saying...
No matter what the laws are, if a father knows that he can rape his daughter and make her pregnant and the law won't punish him ans he will get away with it, will the father do it?
Bow common let's be honest, human beings aren't animals and sometimes you don't need a law to act... I think it'a very rare for a father to do such thing or for a man to rape a girl even if the law makes him get away with it because he still have conscience, morals and values... also believes in god!
For example if a man and a woman are lost on a island, the man is responsible of this woman, she will surely submit to him and does anything he wants and there are no laws and no nothing, will he take advantage of her? Ofc not... he will treat this lady like his sister, protect her, feed her and be there for her because she is a human like him and of they love each other, than it's okay to make sexual relations with each other, he won't accept to see her in pain or rape and she will never accept not to take care of him and and make him happy and be there for him too, that'a why we are humans, we are not robots who just can operate by programming...
Even if the law is there, make your own law which is, never hurt or rape someone... you want sex, just love the girl and marry her and you can have sex with her forever and a happy sex 🙂
Women support abortion because it is convenient to them. If a child or childbirth inconveniences you then you can get rid of it. Abortion is not convenient to men so we are able to acknowledge the barbarity of its practice.
Also incest is consensual sex, why are we making it as severe as rape? Probably because it fits the utilitarian nature of abortion and soft eugenics in general, I don't know.
Women who seek revenge on a baby for what happened to her by a man who raped her are wusses.
Women wouldn't agree if she raped a man and he called for an abortion of the baby. Such hypocrites.
Also, a body inside your body is not your body but another's body. Women should be smart enough to know that and throw away her satanic spirit and pride of shedding innocent blood.
I am pro choice but at the same time how much of a whore is someone that not being able to have an abortion is this huge issue for them? Live life in a respectable way instead of sleeping around problem solved. If you are married and get pregnant no need for an abortion.
New abortion laws stop the mass murders on babies. The rape and incest again are the least abortions. Its more of the other way around people just not wanting a child. Eirher way these murders must stop the woman doesmt have to keep the child.
I am honestly against abortion. Its murder. But abortion after ebcause someone was raped that's a different thing. -------
But look don't you all play the blame game. In India Feminists have pushed a law where when a woman rapes a minor or a man she does not get convicted with crime and will propably WILL not serve any time in prison.

I personally am not offended by these new abortion laws. IMHO, women are sneaky, evil, and manipulative; and have done a lot of fuck shit that directly affects me in a very negative way (especially nurses). With that being said, I see this as karma coming back and biting women in the arses.
@Shuri No. Moderate. I just hate other women and think they should pay for manipulating the system just so that they can reduce the quality of my life.
No, banning abortion does not say any of those crimes against women are OK. Not in the least. That is just an absurd conclusion on your part.
However, I will say that I do not support the banning of abortions in the case of rape, incest or threat to the mother's health. Abortions should be allowed in those scenarios, but no others.
Abortion is out of control in the US and we need laws that limit them to the situations I mentioned.
@Shutupman BAsed on your link, abortions are down by 3.7% since 2015, hardly significant. But the important point from that link is that there are still nearly a MILLION abortions performed in the US each year. Those are human lives. As I said, it is out of control.
That’s in a 3 year span since the study I believe which is significant. And if you read the entire article you would have also read the numbers of the years before that. Abortion has been going down by a lot. Why? More successful sex education and available/affordable birth control. Abortion isn’t out of control nowadays when the number has actually been going down.
It will keep going down through better sexual eduction and availability of inexpensive birth control. Banning abortion won’t make it happen less, just less safe.
@Shutupman The argument that banning abortion won’t make it happen less does not hold water. If something is illegal but people do it anyway, that is not a good argument for making it legal. Imagine if someone said we should make murder legal because people are doing it even though it is illegal.
I do not equal abortion with murder. And based on that view it makes no sense to make such comparison. Abortion will never cease to exist. At least make it happen in a safe environment.
@Shutupman "The Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004 (Public Law 108-212) is a United States law which recognizes an embryo or fetus in utero as a legal victim, if they are injured or killed during the commission of any of over 60 listed federal crimes of violence. The law defines "child in utero" as "a member of the species Homo sapiens, at any stage of development, who is carried in the womb"
Rape babies are extremely small a percentage, too small to make a law based on such a tiny percentage of cases... we don't make laws based on 1% of situations lol... or even less than 1% here...
@_Tou24che_l well you can’t disprove it further than what stAtistics say I dont think we will go based on your assumption. We will obviously go based on stats
Stats that assume things. Good job for unwanted babies who will be killed, murdered, sold into sex slavery, left in dumpsters because of people like you👍. You're SO in control
because being alive is all they know. I guarantee I would rather have loving parents, not parents who abuse me than when I grow up, I'll be scarred forever. I'll rather have parents who planned and wanted me but even if they didn't plan me at least they loved me, gave me everything I needed where I would be go hungry, and other necessities children need.
@_Tou24che_l so you rather be not alive than alive? Maybe you, but most people rather be alive than not alive... so rape babies or not, those babies will grow up to appreciate and be grateful his mother raised him or her despite the father being a rapist criminal These cases have very often in underdeveloped countries and it’s not common for the child to grow up and wish his mom aborted him

There needs to be a long conversation between the people and lawmakers and new laws in place to help children and parents. New laws all around from genuine people who are not men and women who are obsessed with controlling women, which is their true agenda, not the child because there are no laws in place to help these children after they are born. That is terrible logic. - Have you thought that rape babies are a small percentage because women were allowed to terminate their pregnancy from rape? with this law it will be about the same order of magnitude as rape. - All laws have special cases that try to cover these situations. @betaTester 1. No We mean babies that are a victime of rape. Aborted or not aborted. The percentage is really low. I dont remember exactly but its not far off from 1% im pretty sure i remember. Basically its really really low
2. I personally don’t know if no abortions is the right thing to do in today’s society. I would rather severly shorten the deadline at maybe 6 weeks max to get it But its a risky move to not allow it at all
However morally its wrong to have abortions. You can't deny that People are clearly divided on this topic

I think it is a response to the fact men and women don't want to date any more since feminism killed their attraction to each other so they are desperately looking for ways to prop up the population.
Give it a few decades and certain people will be legally required to breed.
Since you against abortion does that mean you're OK with resenting women and men beating and killing their children, leaving them in dumpsters/on the side of the road, selling them into sex slavery, etc. Good job. It's about saving and protecting babies, not punishing women or taking control over wonen's bodies.
1) it will not save and protect babies because women will die as well as the fetus from not having access to safe medical care. Roe v wade happened because it has been proven that women will risk their own life to maintain control of it. It was a law passed to SAVE LIVES.
2) It will not save and protect babies because those with the financial means (generally those same old white men in power who are passing these unconstitutional and unwelcome laws) will still get access at the right price. The ones who will suffer the most will be the ones who cannot afford to pay, and also they will be the most at risk for unwanted pregnancy with this stupid idea that abstinence is the way to prevent such things. Humans are able to have sex when not fertile. That is by design. Dogs, for example go into heat only twice a year. It is unreasonable to expect people to only have sex if they wish to procreate, as well as a concept based in puritanical religion rather than reason, and therefore disallowed as legal reasoning via separation of church and state.
3) It is not going to protect and save babies because babies are actually born already. They are the end result of a successful pregnancy, can breathe on their own, digest what they ingest and excrete waste without using another persons biological systems to do it. An abortion is terminating a pregnancy before that stage where it would actually be able to do that except in the most extreme cases during late term which are then usually only because of a danger to the woman's health or if the child has a condition that is incompatible with life. Such cases are often emotionally painful and NOT because a woman has changed her mind, but are medically advised for women who very much intended to go to term.
4) It will not save or protect at all: United Nations website defines forced pregnancy as a crime against humanity ( See definitions Article 7, No.1, Item G un. org/en/genocideprevention/about-responsibility-to-protect)
99.99% of women put themselves in unpleasant positions/environment. Most rapes do not occur because men are jumping from behind bushes. Women need to be more self aware.

Abortion rates have gone down significantly actually
@Shutupman Can you please provide a source?
Regardless, it is still overused as a means of birth control.

It should not be used as a means of birth control but it should remain a choice. Birth control fails.

Abortion isn’t bad nor murder it’s just the termination of a pregnancy of a fetus.

@Shutupman This discussion is about the US.

The women needs to raise her baby. Of course
Its her that chooses to dump the kid not me
False. The modern push for "common sense" gun laws is based off of less than 1%.
Wow lol. Do you seriously believe forcing a woman to have the child will cure her of bad parent syndrome? No, She will hate the child and the child will suffer. That's OK with you though because you do not care about the child after it's born
@TheCunningLinguist no its not
Its based off the net effect
Less guns overall net less violence
Thats been concluded in many studies mainly one major meta analysis consisting of 150 independent studies
@_Tou24che_l thats like saying why bother telling male rapist not to rape. Why bother fixing the root cause. Just make women bear burkas
Why fix the root cause of bad mothers. Just abort
Thats silly
You're talking about studies that conflate correlation for causation. On average, more people are beat to death with hammers than murdered with Firearms the United States. And that is recorded through law enforcement statistics.
My solution isn't to aborn. Gosh no point in talking to you people
@TheCunningLinguist

In this example, this will not solve anything if these drug addicts sell their baby for drugs and use them as sex slaves
@_Tou24che_l rofl ok there, again you are talking about such small fractions of the total abortions... stop focusing on tiny fractions and you'll understand better
out of the thousands of abortions per year, 95% are just normal people ya... so again we aren't making laws on fractions of a fraction --> and we can deal with these drug addicts later... but first we need to deal with the bulk of the issue, that is your everyday average girl aborting kids

Your logic is very poor. Crimes against women are still illegal.
What if the fetus is female? Now there's one extra crime against women that is not permitted,
Since you against abortion does that mean you're OK with resenting women and men beating and killing their children, leaving them in dumpsters/on the side of the road, selling them into sex slavery, etc. Good job. I bet you feel SO in controlled of women now huh. This is so helping women lol. Good job man

Read the legislation.
You are talking Demotard shit.
There are exemptions that cover rape and incest.
Not in Alabama, only exception is risk to mother's life not health life!!!
Rape and Incest are included in Alabama's Anti Abortion Law!!! Missouri has the Rape, Incest, Health Concern Exemptions not Alabama!!!

99.99% of women put themselves in unpleasant positions/environment. Most rapes do not occur because men are jumping from behind bushes. Women need to be more self aware.
Women usually get raped by men they know. Should we lock all men up to prevent this?
