people who have smaller bodies naturally have smaller muscles and less power compared to those who are bigger. short peopla can learn to fight and everything but there's a reason why big, tall men have always been praised.

Your first premise is actually incorrect, tall stature by itself has no correlation with large muscle mass. There are many tall guys who no matter how much lifting they do, they can’t seem to grow muscle unless they use steroids. Even Hafthor Bjornsson admitted to using steroids. Prior to his strongman career, he was a tall skinny basketball player.

Not that long ago, a 15 year old 5’8” 156 lb boy managed to close the number 3 captain’s of crush gripper which requires 280 lbf to close. Keep in mind that not many full grown large men can fully close that gripper. www.ironmind.com/.../

And when it comes to fighting, there are many more factors aside from size, speed and skill that determines the outcome of a fight. Here are some Pros and Cons of Your Height ↗ That’s why smaller individuals occasionally triumph over their larger adversaries.

exactly that's why i used the word bigger and when i wrote tall it was accompanied by the word big. but generally size is very important i'm afraid. that's why they classify fighters based on their weight because strength has always been in size and strength can change a lot of things. if i punch a guy my size i may do some damage but if i punch a 7 foot guy i won't be able to do any damage because he's body can easily take that blow. it takes a real master of fighting to be able to hurt someone who's way bigger than him but it usually doesn't happen among ordinary people. the rest of the points you made sound right to me

Ed Coan is only 5’7” and weighs 217lbs. Yet in his prime he was able to bench and squat more than Hafthor Bjornsson due to his advantage of having a shorter range of motion. Taller people are actually at a disadvantage because their longer range of motion requires more work.

Weight classes are a fairly new concept to MMA, because it’s now illegal in North America to sanction open weight fights. Early MMA didn’t have weight classes, now the only two MMA promotions that still sanction open weight fights are Rizin (Japan) and Road FC (South Korea). But fortunately, it’s still allowed to have open weight Jiujitsu, Judo, wrestling and sumo contests. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EWOLzZrVkcM

Even when both the smaller fighter and bigger fighter have no skill. The smaller person can still use the advantages that comes with his or her smaller size to win. Like in this backyard brawl. Of course, the smaller person isn’t always going to win but it is still fairly common for the smaller person to come out on top. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HPEq5B87N14

I read somewhere that Asian women prefer slimmer, smaller guys, so it's probably not a big issue. Asians in the US rarely play sports of any kind, which contributes to them being seen as less physical than other guys.

So... You're just looking at how the US sees Asians? Most of the world doesn't see Asians in that light.
    Interesting take though.

"Asian" doesn't only comprise of Korean, Japanese and Chinese. I am also an Asian (South East Asia) but I know that I don't fall in any of the wimpy characteristics. It's just blatant generalization.

You lose your credibility when you try to act like a shrink by making all sorts of baseless assumptions. If you want to be credible then don’t use fallacies, it’s quite simple. And most importantly do your research before trying to correct someone, otherwise you just look like a fool.

First, It's call a refutation, you repeat by necessity so point out how each part is wrong.

Second, nothing here really required research. I stated my disbelief in this stereotype existing since I've never heard of it, and apparently neither have any of the other commenters.

Third, I did read your link but found it didn't add anything of value. An Asian guy killing people because white women dont want to date him doesn't support the idea that people think Asians are weak. I also don't see the existence of colonial era propaganda as supporting evidence.

The liberal bias thing is funny though as I'm far from liberal. Would have thought that was your position what with sourcing the huff post, and writing a take about your victimhood.

There you go again making baseless assumptions and assuming you know more about a subject than you actually do.

And that’s not the point of the article. Of course what Elliot did was horrible, there’s no denying that. The reason why I linked the article was because it clearly talks about how Asian men are viewed as effeminate, did you not read that?

I did, but they just state that with no basis. They attempt to connect it with dating site trends, but they even quote that as "Asian men are often depicted as geeky nerds with high intelligence but low charisma", not as effeminate. The article is a fallacy that they out themselves, and then they talk about penis size stereotypes and colonialism.

Here’s a quote of that article

“In fact, the feminization of Asian men and their genitalia is the exact opposite of African-American men, who are portrayed as overly sexual and hypermasculine, with extra-large genitalia. While Asian men's sexuality is invisibilized in our society, African-American sexuality is portrayed as dangerously attractive.“

Yes yes, I've read the article but Asian men are not really singled out in that comparison except by the author, as African American men are stereotyped to be larger than everyone and not just Asians. By that comparison every non black group is suffering feminization.
I also disagree with the idea that saying someone has a small or smaller dick is feminizing. Having a dick at all is a masculine trait, regardless of its size.
