Hating white people is also racist

Shezadi

I am a British Pakistani and even though I am a Pakistani, I am not bias at all.

Perhaps, I am the first person to break my silence on this. I feel a lot of growing hatred against white people especially the English people.

1. Stereotypes

They are always portrayed as "villains" or the "baddies" and that itself is racist because that is what we call "negative stereotypes" and "generalisation."

2. Double standards

I feel double standards because the Asian who doesn't want his community to be "generalised" because of one bad person is perhaps the same person "generalising" the entire English community based on one person, or one politician or based on something that happened in the past like British ruling India.

A lot of ethnic minorities hate English people and that's also racist.

3. Racism based on history

I also think that hating English people based on what happened in history is unfair because every race did something wrong in history and the English also suffered a lot in history like millions of English were killed in world war one and world war two. Yet, the English are not allowed to make any racist comments against Germans.

Whilst, English people are expected to be perfect and politically correct, ethnic minorities are allowed to express themselves.

4. Why?

Why is it so okay for ethnic minorities to talk against English people?

How come that is not considered racist?

When they talk against English people, they are considered heroes yet Tommy Robinson talking against grooming gangs was considered racist!

Would Tommy Robinson have been jailed if he was of a different race?

He was not allowed to protect his English girls in his own country!

5. Anti-white movies

There are movies where white people portrayed as villains in movies like Harriet and Blinded by the Light. The movie Harriet is about black slavery even though slavery is OVER and Blinded by the Light is about a Pakistani boy arriving in England in the 60s in Bradford and again the white people are portrayed as villains. Despite being a Pakistani, I don't agree with that movie because:

Number one: Pakistanis are also bad to each other. I say from personal experience. My own fellow Pakistanis made fun of my English the most.

Number two: Native Pakistanis hate foreign Pakistanis. This is also from personal experience.

Number three: Making white look bad in a movie is racist itself

Number four: That is based on the past and this is 2020.

Number five: Even though, Pakistani was portrayed as a victim in the movie and whites as villains but the in the case of Pakistani grooming gangs, it was the opposite. Can we make a movie on Pakistani grooming gangs or would that be banned for being too "offensive" for Pakistanis?

6. Criticism of Oscars for lacking diversity

Even though, I don't know the details but maybe it is just jealousy.

Oscars is about "merit" not "diversity."

I am sure those who won deserved the awards.

It is unfair to assume that they won because of their "white skin" because they are hard working and talented. It is wrong to discredit their work by using terms like "white privilege."

That is pure jealousy being expressed using the race card.

Some black actors also won awards but they are making it sound like only white people won which is not true.

There was also a discussion on gender equality and despite being a feminist, I will argue Oscars is about merit not gender equality.

Men won because of their hard work.

Women also won awards.

They are being ungrateful by exaggerating someone. Many are not grateful for being nominated.

So, it is just jealousy, jealousy and jealousy.

7. Hornchurch cafe branded racist over mini Union Jack flags served with food

Customers complained about the British flags on toothpicks when they received their food and some even threw the flags on the floor!!!

The owner commented on this.

“I don’t know why people are offended by this.

“If you went into an Italian restaurant and were given your food with a little Italian flag you wouldn’t complain.

“We’ve had people that are obviously foreign say to me ‘are you joking, why have you given me this’

“We give the flags out with every plate of food that goes out of the kitchen."

“It is just tradition, we are a London themed cafe, we have St George’s flags and Union Jacks, and the Royal wedding flag all in the cafe.

“I really don’t understand why people are offended by this.

“People throw the flags on the floor in disgust, and it just doesn’t make any sense to me.

“We have some tourists that love it. They take the flags home with them as a momento.”

She said that on social media some people had come to her support, while others said that it was racist and wanted the cafe to stop serving food with the flags.

Taking to Facebook the cafe posted: “Patriotic and proud not prejudice."

“After two years of running our little café we have encountered our first disproval from a couple of customers."

“Any of our customers, past and present will know that we send all our food out with an England or Union Jack flag in it, this is not to insult or induce any feeling other than Great British pride."

“We are a little London café, we are British, English and Londoners. We will not feel ashamed to put little flags in our food.

“We will not be stopping. We are patriotic, not ‘pathetic’ as someone called us last week.

“We celebrate our country!”

Hating white people is also racist

This case says a lot. This shows that English people also face racism. They are not allowed to celebrate their race or even display their flag in their own country!

Sadly, such news doesn't receive a lot attention because it is not considered "controversial" enough. If that was a case with an Italian restaurant or an Indian restaurant, then there would have been more anger.
