Is it FINALLY time for common sense muslim control laws?

RationalMale

After the latest horrific muslim attack in Boulder Colorado, claiming the lives of 10 innocent White Americans, is it finally time to pass common sense muslim control laws, such as banning mosques or requiring a permit to be a muslim? These could help stem to horrible tide of massacres and killings that have plagued the USA and Europe, if passed, and these measures have support from both parties according to polls!

Let's think about just a few atrocities that COMMON SENSE muslim control measures could have stopped in just the 21st century alone.

These are just a TINY TINY sampling of muslim violence in the USA and Europe since 2000. It is past time to enact common sense muslim control that will protect innocent people from violence and not infringe on muslims. Requiring permits, restricting types of korans that can be owned, requiring insurance and background checks are just a few common sense muslim safety laws we can enact to stem the EPIDEMIC of muslim violence in the USA and Europe without infringing on the rights of law abiding muslims and law abiding koran owners.

Literally only terrorist organizations and radical insurrectionists would oppose these common sense safety measures that have bi partisian support.

Is it FINALLY time for common sense muslim control laws?

*Sigh* Look at what the media has done to people. I love how people like you, love to believe you're "rational" independent and free, but all this post tells me is you've been indoctrinated by the media.

Firstly, let's look at how many Muslims there are in the USA and Europe. A 2017 study estimates there are approximately 3.45 million Muslims in America and in Europe Pew Research found we make up approximately 5% of the European population. Is terrorism by Muslims such a problem that we really need to take the discriminatory measures you're suggesting? I think not. Because the reality is, the majority of us Muslims are not committing terrorism and we're living peacefully in Europe and America and around the world practicing our religion- because if the majority of us were committing terror, well there wouldn't be much of the world left.

What you've done is a classic. Cherry-picked a few examples of where it happens to be Muslims committing these disgusting acts of terror. You're like if the mainstream media was a person lol, that's how full of it you are. Let's look at other communities committing terror and then compare it with the Muslim terrorism you claim is such a threat that we need "Muslim control" (whatever the hell that means).

According to CSIS what seems to be a bigger problem than Muslim extremism in the USA, is right-wing extremism. The study states: "Right-wing extremists perpetrated two thirds of the attacks and plots in the United States in 2019 and over 90 percent between January 1 and May 8, 2020" This study, unlike you analyses 893 terrorist attacks and plots in the USA between 1994 and 2020- and spoiler alert, the study states: "Overall, right-wing terrorists perpetrated the majority—57 percent—of all attacks and plots during this period, compared to 25 percent committed by left-wing terrorists, 15 percent by religious terrorists, 3 percent by ethnonationalists, and 0.7 percent by terrorists with other motives."

Here's some more fun facts you'll enjoy reading from the study you will enjoy!

"the number of terrorist attacks and plots by perpetrator orientation indicate that right-wing terrorism not only accounts for the majority of incidents but has also grown in quantity over the past six years."

" Despite a moderate decrease in 2018 to 29 incidents, right-wing activity again increased in 2019 to 44 incidents. Religious attacks and plots have also shown some increases during this period—notably in 2015, 2017, and 2019—but at a significantly smaller magnitude than right-wing events."

So by your logic, I guess you should have "right-wing" control too, now? Oh but not everyone who identifies as a right-wing person is an extremist terrorist who wants to commit these disgusting acts, right? Yeah, well that's the same for Muslims so I don't see why you think millions of Muslims need permits or "control laws" because arguably a larger threat than Muslim terrorism nowadays, is right-wing terrorism. But that's not what the media wants to tell you, because if they tell you that, then they actually have to be honest with you and if they're honest with you, it means no more bashing the mOzLeM's!

    • Now the study does discuss what it calls "religious terrorism" ("includes violence in support of a faith-based belief system, such as Islam, Judaism, Christianity, and Hinduism, among many others.") but my issue with the it's study on religious terrorism is that it only seems to focus on terrorism done in the name of Islam, when quite clearly religious terrorism in the USA isn't exclusive to Islam. In modern times, there has been attacks in the name of Christianity from Christian extremists too, but of course, because your media won't highlight that to you, there's no Christian terror. Let's forget the Eric Rudolph case, the Robert Doggart case, the Robert Lewis Dear case, the Larry McQuilliams case, the John Salvi case, and those are just a few- it's Muslims who commit terrorist attacks in the name of Christianity upon abortion clinics in the USA, isn't it?

The truth is plenty of extremists and terrorists are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist- but their disgusting actions don't represent the religion itself to belong to. But of course, because the media has been highlighting terrorist attacks done by Muslims, you are conditioned to think terrorism is a problem exclusive to Muslims. Had the media been highlighting Christians today, you'd be making this post about Christians, had the media been highlighting another group, you'd be making this post about that other group today. People like you love to criticize people in other countries for being indoctrinated by their media, but you're ironically no different.

    • I mean let me give you, a striking example. What would you call someone who blows themselves up? That's correct! A suicide bomber! But let's rewind back to Christmas... Remember the Nashville bomber who blew himself up? Of course you do, because that's how the media presented it to you. I remember The Sun newspaper in the UK actually praising this man saying things like he was a "good man", a "techie", media continually making excuses for him blaming his father's dementia, that he has family problems. I think we both know, had the Nashville terrorist been a Muslim he would have been an ISIS suicide bomber trying to ruin Christmas and you'd be outraged.

This, boys and girls is why we shouldn't trust our media blindly and we should look beyond and do research for ourselves. Because when you carry on with a mentality like the OP, you end up with something resembling Nazi Germany.

Assalamualaikum and Allahu akbar (chill it just means "God is the Greatest") :P

    • Oh and since you so kindly linked Wikipedia when it came to Muslim extremist attacks let me also show you another side of the story which hasn't been spoonfed to you by the media: en.wikipedia.org/.../Right-wing_terrorism

No law will protect you and will just increase control over people.

"People" should be shocking enough. Not all muslims are bad also. And that's coming from an atheist. Even a bit of an anti-theist.

Ignorance drives it. Even it the states, people believe their version of it. And not long ago used it to hate on blacks. Etc etc.

Humans are the main problem, no real solution other that educating more and more people.

The government certainly shouldn't have any more power.

    • haha the constitution is a living document that needs to be updated for the times. just like how people magically found that abortion is a constitutional right or gay marriage.

    • You can add new amendments, but there's some things about the Constitution that should never be changed. The first amendment is one of those. Our forefathers felt so strongly that people be allowed to practice whatever religion they chose, that it became the very first law they put the paper. Religion in and of itself is not the issue. The issue is the people committing these atrocities, some of whom just so happened to be a part of a certain religion. Religion didn't commit those acts of Terror, or kill all those people. People commit acts of Terror, and people kill people. So please just stop waving the flag for an idiotic Crusade against innocent people. Instituting what you were talking about is a very slippery slope and will come back to bite us. Because how long before they decide Islam is too dangerous to be allowed in America, or Judaism, or Christianity, or Buddhism, or any religion at all for that matter? BLM committed countless acts of terrorism, holding the entire nation hostage, for half of last year. Does this mean we should ban black people? No! Because that's a very stupid response.

I think they say it's muslim. But it's another organization. if you think about it. If it were muslims then why do they let them join the American army. I think it's far deeper than we can see from our own homes.

No. You can't have people require a permit to be of a certain religion, or banning their places of worship. Otherwise, we should definitely require Christians have a permit and ban Christian churches, for all the genocide and mass murder they've commited.

Besides, especially the USA would be hypocrites if they controlled Muslims for some of them doing bad things, yet most Americans won't be willing to get rid of their guns after many mass shootings lately, or won't ban white people since most of these mass shooting lately were caused by white people. Can't ban Muslims for one thing and then just defend white people or gun ownership when they've done the exact same thing.

That's funny, because I'm studying mass shootings and they're defined by the GVA as any shooting in which 4 or more people are killed or injured and does not always except shootings that are later ruled justified self defense after the investigation is complete. Spoiler alert, 78% of these mass shootings are committed by young black men in liberal cities and have a suspected gang affiliation. Also spoiler alert, 72% of these mass shootings didn't involve a rifle of any kind and was committed with a handgun. Haha, you thought I was done spoiling, didn't you? Nope, 92% of the shooters are prohibited possessors with felony convictions but got a huge break because of your social justice nonsense and it not being politically correct to lock a young black man up for an armed robbery in which he shot the owner. Statistics> feelings

How about terrorist control laws? Muslims of this generation are getting a bad rep because of a few. I believe bad times come for everybody. If we look through history we can find acts of terrorism committed by all religions more or less. Maybe 100 years from now you'd see more Christians or Jews engaged in terrorism? Who knows what's going to happen? Terrorist claiming to be muslims happened mostly because of political reasons. Politics are dirty and International politics are even dirtier.
They cause many bad things to happen andI don't support discrimination against muslims. Majority of them wish to live peacefully.
