I have to say it, in behalf of men. We never started sh! t to end up here. We have been targeted for being men. When we lashed out, out of frustration. We were used as an example. We are prosecuted before trial. Forced to believe we are suppose to be women. Held content for being different by nature. We apologize for the confusion others may have of our foundational genetics , but not sorry we didn't change for anyone. We can sit back and let it be. We just brush it off. Just because it's annoying dealing with drama.
As for the genetically/ biological boys out there ruining men's overall spectrum. We are not defending you. Nor will we ever. The day will come when you will need to man up. You're on your own.
Women: We're strong and independent.
Also women: Men need to watch WNBA, help women owned businesses, pay alimony, child support, support abortion rights.. and on and on andon.
I heard a wise man say that only the weak talk about fairness. Most men understand the strong win.
I just love the accusations! Personally, I shop at businesses that have the best products for prices that are reasonable. Oh, and where I am treated like my visit is important to that business. I don’t shop at a place just because the owner has a vagina.

There is no battle. Men are winning. Today's women is just too arrogant and self-absorbed to see it. I'm sorry if you as an individual woman are not like that, but it's true. The battle that women need to wage is not against men. To be honest men are not at war with women. Women are at war with themselves and their internal dialog, not men.
Let me ask you this. How many men around you are dead set on destroying you, making sure you have nothing and ruining your life? Be honest? How many? None. Right? exactly.
Now how often are you slowed down or hindered by your own thoughts?
interesting story. However the only gender wars i see ( wait for it) is on the internet. That's it. i can't take them serious and that includes GAG. No one in my proximity is fighting the opposite sex. Getting out of GAG and other online forums restores the Vision we have about the opposite sex we were supposed to have.

What I've noticed here on GaG is that bith genders have many questions starting with why di women this and men that, is if in most cases, truth us some women this, and some guys that.
There isn't much peace among girls either. Sure girls are less physically violent but they do strike hard with discrimination, gossip and what not.
Again, that’s why I said let’s focus on people as individuals. I mean look, there are probably a lot of women who think I’m a *itch. That’s fine. As long as they judge me for things that I can control.

Nice take, thank you! We certainly need to mend fences between men and women. The divide is deep and seems to get deeper every day. Unfortunately, as long as there is feminism doing what it has been doing, things will only continue as they have been.

I guess I must have missed that. So I have to ask, how can you feel good about calling yourself a feminist today considering what the movement has become and what it has been doing for the last 10 years or more?
I appreciate your mytake here and your effort to help end the gender war, but that is certainly very uncharacteristic for a feminist.
By the way, I agree with all the things you said about how feminism of the past enabled you and other women to enjoy the rights they have today, which is awesome. But today's feminism is nothing like the feminism of the past that did those things. Today's feminism claims to be about equality but it soooo clearly is not. Instead, it is divisive and dishonest, and yes, sexist.
No offence, but I don't understand how someone like you, if you truly believe what your wrote here, can feel good about calling yourself a feminist now.
We do need more unity and peace between men and women, but feminism does not help in that regard, it stands in the way of it.
To me, feminism means being treated as an equally important member of society. Nothing more.
Things like your mytake here do help move the needle in the right direction, albeit in tiny increments, but what we really need is fundamental change in how we as a society view gender issues. Feminism is moving that needle in the wrong direction.
That's like someone saying "To me, Nazism means making society better for everyone. Nothing more."
Forgive the comparison but regardless of what feminism means to you, you have to take some responsibility for what the movement is actually doing. Calling yourself a feminist is lending your support and credibility to a movement that doesn't deserve it because it has done and is still doing a lot of harm. You are supporting that whether you intend to or not.
I take no responsibility for anyone else’s actions. Are there stark raving lunatics who hide under the banner of feminism to further a radical agenda? Absolutely! Do I support them? Nope! Do I wish they would just stop increasing the divisive antics? Definitely! But I’m not going to claim any responsibility for them, or their actions. They are NOT feminists, but radicals. And I don’t support any radical, ever.
This is one of the biggest problems with the feminist movement today... they won't take any responsibility for the behavior of feminists. They deny any responsibility for the bad behavior of feminists by saying "they're not real feminists". How convenient is that. Those feminists may be radical, but they are still feminists. Feminism is as feminism does.
But we're talking about so called feminazis here and they are only part of the problem with modern feminism. A bigger issue is the gynocentrism of the movement. It claims to be about equality but it clearly only cares about women and approaches ever issue from a woman's standpoint. Take the Depp vs. Heard trial verdict for example. Since the verdict was announced there have been countless pieces written by feminists on how it was a blow to victims of domestic abuse. I have yet to see one acknowledge that it was a positive sign for male victims. This is just one example of many.
It's nice to call for a truce and all, but it's meaningless until feminism either changes or goes away. Denying what feminism is doing just stands in the way of any progress.
Do you accept responsibility for all rapists? No. Should you have to because you are a man? Of course not! Sorry, but expecting a woman to answer for/apologize for another group of women is ridiculous.

How would you end a fight without leaders? And the nastiest fighters are morons which are incapable of understanding the consequences of what they do, and isn't willing to listen to logic and is driven by emotions and wishful thinking.
So, the moral of the story is... can't we all just act like good human beings and stop attacking each other? Well, many years ago society wanted you to be a good little girl and stay home cooking and cleaning. So it's not really that simple, is it? Every solution has the potential to create a new set of problems, which is what feminism has done.
