Well I grew up in the farm land of Ohio with old fashioned grandparents unt uncle & parents. & was tought to always help the fairer sex ( girls ) So its still alive & well with me. But I do completely understand the question , & U an Blame its Apsence on todays Society. If the childrens parents & pears don't teach it & or even know what it is , there in lies its demise & slow death !!!
Would a lot of women scold the guy for being sexist, assuming she couldn't do it herself? I would be glad for the help... sometimes a helping hand is just that a helping hand.
Males. And the media... Chil vary is dead because males became dogs and because they started treating women bad, women started being whores and now no guy bothers being chivalrous anymore, plus women view chivalrous men as "thirsty" now days because males like to pretend to care in order to get in a girl's pants...
Chivalry
well i guess we can thank that to retarted movies like GI jane, yes i do respect womens rights but everything is blown out of proportion, im a decent guy and im struggling to find a girl, had one but she was of the hook insane, she was pregnant from me and to her it was normall to see other guys, she should have understand that its an instinct, guys dont want other guys around his girl and the mother of their child. she miscarried , and i do think for the better. i wanted the child i cried, but i probably turned kidnapper and stoned cold killer if other men were around my child, thats not me being an internet hero, i would do time or even die for the ones that i love. i was nice to her, never agressive, didn't show any disturbing behavior, but she did, she insulted me etc... i think she has a personality disorder but because i stay so calm and patient with her, im a psycho to her... -_- a real guy never ever gets agressive with a girl, but those machos of these days they do.
Since you were being calm and did not feed into her craziness she thought you didn't care
It's not completely dead, however it has no use anyway.
A waste of my time, I am improving on not giving a fuck on people lately.
I feel you dude. People nowadays are ungrateful people who don't know what the fuck they want.
Yes, please keep chivalry alive, and I'll insurrect Chickvalry!
I hold the door for everyone, both men and women. I have never once had a woman scowl at me or tell me she doesn't need the door held.
Condescending to women is dead. Common courtesy is not.
Chivalry has not died, I jest you not when I say,
MOST humans these days do not deserve Chivalry.
Very FEW shall shall still ride ye' yonder.
I've met a few men who still are chivalrous. It's very rare, but they are out there.
Also it's a good thing my father taught me how to change a wheel because this happened to me and no one, not even a man, came out and helped me. If you want something done, do it on your own.
the only thing dead about chivalry are the people who when offered to them will throw it back in your face, because they misinterpreted an action as patronizing.
They got dead concepts of decency and are rude,
@thechica I'd like to take u out on a HAWT date where there's juz us No one else ☺️

Lol it made me laugh too!!! Why full moon? Are you a wolf 🐺? :O oh myyy
Chivalry isn't dead, it just followed wherever the heck being "lady-like" went.
Feminism killed chivalry, obviously.
Anyone who denies that is a moron.
I blame the whole thing on Ronald Reagan. He just kept printing money out of the sky and the war on drugs was a complete failure so now no man will ever help a stranded on the side of the road. Also Karrot Top is partly responsible of course.
the fuck lol
Don't believe me? Ask 5 dentists!
Women killed it the first time they looked at a man and said "i dont need you"
I think both genders killed it. Women, saying is a sign of weakness, a way of seeing females as inferior beings incapable of doing the simplest and smallest task and accepting or assuming men will only do something good to have sex. Men, taking for granted that women don't want those treatments or are not necessary to make her fall for them or get what they want.
The people responsible for the death of chivalry is women themselves
The feminist movement is responsible. Equality! There are no essential differences between the sexes, so they should all be treated the same. In the old days, men would take care of women. Not anymore.
it's patronising, and is sexist in form..
you think medieval peolpe invented it because they... well respected women?
I don't know why one woman downvoted this. Stop being a coward and state how you feel instead of trying to use downvotes to manipulate others opinions without being held responsible or putting yourself on the line
i'm not offended... lolol..
He's kind of stating a fact here. It is patronizing.
Chivalry isn't dead. Im still chivalrous! you're welcome!
I read that it's actually Quioxtism that caused it. Quioxte was against chivalry. Should read about him
Time.
Correct answer is: Time.
