Why do guys always think I'm flirting with them?

Honestly I think most guys think I'm flirting with them whenever I'm smiling at them and listening and looking attentively at them. There's a guy in my class and he always ask me if I like him when I look at him. I look at him because I want to say something. I'm not exactly outgoing but on certain days I feel more bubbly, so whenever they ask me that, I'd feel awkward and just wave and laugh ig off, but apparently it makes them think I like them even more.

Being a heterosexual guy, taking every girl not totally bitching us out, as interest, is a sign of self confidence in that guy.

It's better to "assume the sale", and presume she is interested... than playing it too cautiously and missing out on a dating / sex opportunity.
