I was just arguing with one on instagram and she keeps saying that their bodies aren't for the world to see. I understand that, but dont we all have the same parts? What makes these hijabis think that they have something worth seeing that other women do not? Pure arrogance.

note: its not the hijabs that bother me, its the arrogance. I dont care if they wear that stuff but the arrogance bothers me tremendously. Imagine if we see their colar bones but its only for their loved ones to see! Oh the drama, we dont give a fuck what you look like underneath your robes.

The reason they cover their heads is because hair is considered to be one of a woman's most attractive features. And if you think about it they're not wrong. Having nice hair can make a woman more attractive. It isn't just muslim women that hide their hair. Christian women used to cover their heads, nuns still do. Married jewish women also hide their real hair... with wigs? (Hide your real hair with fake hair that can attract more attention than the real hair you're hiding? Bizzare)
The extreme of muslim women covering is the niqab (completely covered in black with only the eyes visible) This stroke of genius is to make a woman indistinguishable from another. If you can't see anything, there's nothing to attract you. I pity the women who wear these in Arab countries.
