Should attractive people get incentives for breeding?

Question

There's countries with low birth rates that give out incentives for people to start having more kids; do you think they should give even more incentives to attractive people to breed, in order to reduce the amount of unattractive people in the world?
And do you also think they should penalize those unattractive couples that reproduce?
Couples where one of the parents is considered attractive while the other isn't, won't get any benefits out of it.

For those wondering how could we determine who's attractive and who's not since beauty is subjective, well, we could use a computer to determine who's attractive and who's not. There's certain traits that are considered attractive by most people. We could input all this data in a computer and let it decide.

What a hilariously shallow attempt to answer the question of who/how this would be decided.
A program would still be using algorithms set by it's programmers - the decision would ultimately still be being made by people. You can't just build a robot with a cock and expect it to come up with it's own parameters for hot and not.

Amusing robo-boners aside, I actually don't see numbers of attractive or unattractive people as a problem.
In fact, if in 100 years time, everyone is considered hot by todays standards, all you'll have done is shifted the bar upwards. I don't rate peoples appearance because I'm not an asshole, but the scale of 1-to-10 is relevant to the sort of people who exist today. In a world of 8-to-10s, the 8s would be the new 1s. The paradigm of beauty is entirely relative to the world it exists in.

This idea also seems to forget that genetic defects or another anomalies are not caused by having ugly parents, and even if only the hottest people reproduced, you'd still have unattractive people growing up.

Attractive people have more kids anyway. They are more likely to have girls, and thus more likely for their genes to pass down (bc there's a surplus of men wanting to pass genes than women looking for strong, capable males)

This concept is called Eugenics and it's a Nazi ideology. That's why no one will agree to it. It's a good idea in theory but if you take away all of the ugly people, the good looking people may turn on each other. With all of these superior people running around that's too much dominance which leads to bloodshed.

Oh my God, yes! That's the most sensible proposal I've read in a long time. They should definitely penalize unattractive people that breed. Only ugly people would be against that and you don't want them to decide on this anyway. If such a law is proposed, only attractive people should be allowed to vote on this.

And since attractive people have far higher value in such a society, they should get special privileges: Special police protection at their request (you don't want them to get killed, do you?), an unlimited amount of free cash, immunity for any crimes committed against ugly people and the legal right to enslave any ugly person and seize their property. That would ultimately ensure that attractive people are far more likely to breed as they can fuck without consequences and have everything handed to them.

Ugly people, down vote all you want, I don't care. :D :D

No, first and foremost because attraction is based upon experience and circumstances (poorer men gravitate to thicker wider hipped women and richer to thinner) plus I don't care if a guy performing surgery on me is pretty, I care that he can do the fucking job. I world full of attractive people is not a world full of capable people, there are plenty of men and women who are fun to look at but are completely worthless in all other respects, that doesn't keep a society going. Plus if every one is attractive by definition every one is average so it couldn't even work anyway.

I do not think we should dictate who breeds or not... but if we were going to and if we were going to give incentives then I suggest we focus on independent thinkers.

That is the thing that our society needs the most and should be the thing we encourage for breeding if we were to encourage a trait through breeding.

My vote is not attractiveness but independent thinkers. They are going to be the ones that save us from ourselves, I believe...

Sure, if you believe in the 'Aryan breeding camp' type models. 'Attractiveness' is impossible to define anyway, even harder to define than race. Every culture, even subculture to a degree, views attractiveness differently.
Also this seems dangerously like eugenics tbh. Besides, if you wanted a larger population in your country in general, you don't need to segregate the community. The more people breeding, the better in this policy.

I think they should incentivize healthy people to procreate. Looks will come and go at certain parts of our lives and eventually fade. Some people don't peak until their 30's for example and some attractive people may not look so attractive if they're impoverished and unable to feed and clothe themselves properly. And lastly just because someone has a pretty face doesn't mean they don't have a high risk for passing along some debilitating birth defects.

Not this but doing it so that only healthy people are given a benefit for producing over 1 child for example.

Healthy and fit people (an exception could be geniuses eg Micheal from prison break level) = They get a bonus for producing 2 or more children that could be eg schooling discounts

Unhealthy or some BAD hereditary diseases (that are very high percentage) = are not penalized for having under 1 child but are penalized for having over 2

No matter the amount of data entered, it would go through a set of parameters in the programming. All of that has to be done by a person. In top of that, if there were more attractive people in the world, there would still be less attractive people. There's always a scale for things like that.
