Certainly. I don't understand how it could not effect how everyone interacts with others now, but that doesn't mean that it will. I'm of the opinion that many young people, maybe even most of them, operate at such a high level selfishness and impulsiveness that nothing will really change. Men and women will continue to be raped and sexually assaulted, and men will continue to be falsely accused of rape by malicious opportunists.
There we go, add 'kill all men for comments I don't agree with' to your movement. True colors and lack of respect showing! How would that be taken if a man says let's kill all women for 'insert any reason' omfg time for shit to hit the fan!!!
im obviously not saying i actually want them deceased stupid fuck... but saying you're "afraid to look at a girl" clearly shows lack of respect and understanding towards women so why the fuck should I respect you when you don't respect me?
If a man said something like this in a similar scenario, the exact way I said and meant it, I wouldn't really care much for it. I defo wouldn't get all triggered and try to victimize myself in some f uped way like you "bigblueboat"
Why would you touch any random in public in a sexual manner? If you do that, you are not normal, no matter if you're a man or a woman. But what if you shake hands? Is that taboo?
A huge majority of men aren't going to molest you for saying "hi" in a manner that you don't like.
You do think in a similar way to the alt-right, don't you see that yourself? Am I calling you alt-right? No, you are the exact opposite, extreme left, or "feminazi". You're behaving the same, but with different opinions.
And that's the thing the with extremists.
It's because of people like you that I'm afraid of talking to people, and in particular women. Even a false claim is enough to ruin your life as a man, and THAT, is an equality issue you'll never hear a leftist talk about.
And just out of interesst, how can you determine if a hi, is just a greeting or a hi with expectations?
I never called you a name, and I never accused you of anything. You, however, do nothing but accuse me, and then attack me with name calling on top of that. If you can't a woman calmly and directly speaking her mind, you're the one with the problem. Even better, you blame *your* problems on random people on the internet that you haven't even taken the time to get to know. You don't care how rape or assault ruins a woman's life. All you care about is pointing a finger and saying "She did it, too". That's classy.
Accuse you? I classed you as a person with extreme leftist views and ideals, that isn't name calling. That is simple putting you in a categoty of people based on how you think. Your way of thinking IS similar to how the alt-right is thinking.
I have never stated that I don't support female rape victims! Of course I do! However, to those people who falsly accuse someone of rape, which is far more common than you'd believe, they can go and to quote Ed Sheeran "love themselves". Do you care how a false accusation can ruin the life of a man?
I blame you as a group. "People like you", for the tense social interaction between strangers nowadays.
The funny thing is is that I don't identify as a feminist. I simply give my views from my own personal experiences, and those have been that men will retaliate sexually and physically against a woman who doesn't behave as they see fit. Men are just as quick to try to ruin a woman's reputation by calling her a slut. Educate yourself. Some years ago, women couldn't even own property, vote, get an eduation or decide for themselves whether they wanted to get married. No, dude. Slut-shaming needs to be abolished. Before such prejudices aren't abolished, it is only right that a man should fear for his reputation if he behaves inappropriately towards a woman.
The first two waves of feminism were needed. This third one has gone to complete and utter madness. Slut shaming? Do whatever you want, I don't care? And neither shoukd you care about what people think of you. Isn't "fuck boy" another negative term, so should that be okay to call a man? Fear is not a great thing in a functional society, what do you think North Koreans live with, or what jews lived with inside nazi Germany?
Calling you a feminazi is catigorizing you, not name calling. Saying "darling" for example would be name calling.
Yes I did, I used the jews who lived there as an example of oppressed people living in fear. Just read Anne Frank's diary.
Fear is not something positive (no shit) and even suggesting that all men should live in fear for a crime that a huge minority of us have done is insane. Again, I can make draw ISIS and muslim correlations from the alt-right to your way of thinking.
You have to be extra careful. Men can get their reputations absolutely wrecked or worse legal action taken against them and the only proof needed is the woman's opinion. The richer you are the more dangerous it is for you
Well unless the work management is very strict i believe however some of us just go to work to just earn some green nun else. I can't really give two shiets bout anything else than work at work. @@
I'm bisexual and since this new movement that want to witch hunt men into the ground I no longer give woman a chance with me.

Doesn't mean they're asking how much money you make, work makes up a huge percentage of your life. It's natural for them to want to know what you do. It effects things like what hours you keep. If work is going to affect you when you're not there.
Plus it's something to talk about. I ask women what they do for a job? Am I just a gold digger?
Don't you know that a man being Rich is like a girl being Pretty... You might not marry a girl just because she's Pretty :P But my goodness, Doesn't it help? ;)
@jack187625 If I tell what I do for living she will ask me to go back to my house or to her place. I will also have to paid for the bill otherwise she point out how much money I make.
If it has it's understandable but like ur really going to cry over not being able to trust women now (which really?) when women, young girls, are dealing with rape and sexual assault and are finally able to talk about it and get justice
First and foremost men get raped at the same rates, so that claim really says more about society then it does about men as both men and women get sexually assaulted and raped but not one person seems to give a damn about the men, yourself included. Further more according to two studies done on the subject they found that between 40% to 60% of all rape allegations where provably false, meaning that those women, who are anonymous, targeting famous and rich men, and who are reporting it after the fact, usualy decades after, who never went to a hospital never filed a report and currently are not filing a report and have no evidence what so ever to back up their statements are almost certainly lying. The irony is society demands that we believe women automatically because women never lie and never do anything wrong and men are always lying and always wrong (even as we are told we are equals). This is just more sexism against men.
@mytrumara So your claim about easier wealth acquisition is entirely false and in fact the exact opposite is true it is much harder for a man to acquire wealth because unlike women, they get taxed more, have fewer systems to help them when they are down on their luck and do not have the luxury of being able to use their spouses income as their own (as its frowned upon by society and women in general). As for respect, where do you see men getting respected? Your a man (presumable) yet you have shown nothing but disdain for men. In fact in all areas of life women are treated better and I do have the statistics to back that if you like? For instance not only do women have far more rights then men have, like the right to genital integrity (its funny how its illegal to crop a dogs ear or tail, but do the same thing to an infant boys penis against his will (and up until about 10 years ago without anesthetic) and its perfectly acceptable.).
@mytrumara Or how men are raped at comparable rates as women yet by law they refuse to acknowledge it because it has to be a "penetrative" act. Or how thanks to court rulings like hermsmann vs seyer a man is obligated, no matter the circumstances, to pay child support, in the case of Hermsann vs Seyer the man was a 12 year old boy who was raped by his babysitter. His rapist won the court case and that decision has been upheld in every state that has had similar issues. Legally women are favored over men hence women getting only a third of the sentence a man would get for the same crime (when sentenced at all): www.law.umich.edu/.../...r_gender_disparities.aspx Not to mention that men are as likely to be abused by their wives/girlfriends as women are yet despite this their is only one domestic violence shelter in the US (I believe England has 33(18 of which is only for gay men) vs. the 4,000 for women. Canada has none for men) for men yet 2,500 for women.
@mytrumara Then you have the complete disrespect where people keep claiming that men don't work as much as women even though technically they work slightly more: www.usatoday.com/.../ Then you have school descrimination that favors females over males (dramatically): http://ftp.iza.org/dp5973.pdf www.telegraph.co.uk/.../ Then the special groups that are aiding women in school despite the fact that males have a 4x greater drop out rate (due to the discrimination as this was not the case before) and make up only 37% of college graduates: www.collegeraptor.com/.../ www.forbes.com/.../#4d7aa2214d3c
@mytrumara So again, we can surmise from the data that everything you said is factually incorrect and that the only reason why you said it is because you are virtue signaling, trying to show how great you are by caring more about women then others (this is usually an attempt to make oneself ingratiated to women (white knighting as its called) in order to increase the odds of getting a partner (its worth noting that men of this type are usually low status and are more likely to commit sexual assault and rapes by exploiting women's trust. Not saying you are doing that, only that this is common for those types of people.). The reason why you are so ready to believe that women are victims and men are not is due to the innate biological tendencies which have been exploited by feminist and many people on the left.
Not disdain... honestly, I just treat women and men the same while not being blind to society.
Youtube videos don't count as empirical evidence nor do blogs or time journal articles. I'm talking about western culture and not New Zealand culture (very different cultures), and every other source is between 8 and 24 years old. Societal studies need to be recent to provide empirical evidence. All of your sources are highly limited in modern usage or don't relate to the culture we're talking about. Please make sure your research is valid before using it, you'd fail an academic paper on the topic due to your sources.
@mytrumara neotenous traits play a part in it making you more inclined to believe that women are helpless and men are not as neotenous traits are reminiscent of childhood and thus trigger the protective instinct. Women obviously have more of these traits (less pronounced bone structure of the face (especially with less pronounced eye ridges and narrower jaw comparative to men), 25% less collegen in their skin, smaller body stature, less muscle mass, body hair etc. all of which are their to encourage the protective instinct. However as I have already shown (multiple times over) your instinctive response (which is being hijacked by people with ill intent) is incorrect and does not match the data.
@mytrumara Yes all my studies do related to the topics of which I pointed them to, they are all up to date, most within the past ten years. So this has nothing to do with them not relating, it has to do with you being indoctrinated and not wanting to question your ideological beliefs.
You used studies done in 1994 and one done in New Zealand. 8 years ago also isn't recent, a lot has changed in society in the past 8 years making all those studies faulty. And as I said, youtube videos, blogs, and Time Magazine aren't valid forms of empirical evidence. That leave you with exactly 0 valid sources. You're obviously just trying to justify your sexism.
@mytrumara No. I gave multiple studies, you chose two of them. I pointed out the one that was done in new zealend yes, then I linked to tax exemptions that women get that men don't in the US. Others where done the 2000s and claiming that a ten year time span negates a study is completely absurd. Most of the data we have is from before that point in time. I mean the whole "one in five women are raped" dates back to the 70s (it was also completely wrong), same with the gender gap. I gave evidence, you gave absolutely nothing but excuses. So unless you can justify why the data is wrong other then "time" which means nothing, your wrong deal with it.
@mytrumara No you didn't. You mention one was from 1994 which I pointed out unless you can prove something has changed that would affect that then it still stands (and pointed out all the arguments against are from the 70s and not even done by professional researchers or people with doctorates for that matter), you then mentioned one other one that's it. So again, your full of it and your aware of it. As for my reading comprehension , well feel free to throw out your ad hominid attacks in order to focus the discussion on everything but the actual argument (since you have no way to argue against anything I have said) I really don't care, you have no idea who I am or what my comprehension level is so your really just shooting in the dark in an attempt to again, avoid having to admit your wrong. Also as I stated earlier I provided multiple links and sources, you provided nothing but sarcasm and logical fallacies. I think we are done here unless you wish to continue to show your ignorance?
No. And to all the guys complaining on here, sexual harassment does happen. I've been the victim of it myself. It's bad in the entertainment industry where they have virtually no one to report it to, and the men know that.
Women sexually harass men too, the difference is no one cares. Also the MeToo "movement" is primarily anonymous women "outing" men that are famous or rich, twenty to thirty years after the fact with absolutely no evidence to back up their claims, i. e. it is predominantly false allegations as over 40% of rape allegations are provably false based upon statistical analysis. This is just an attempt to get attention, money, and revenge that's all.
I feel like it's much wiser to stay discreet on where you work. My facebook page has a fake last name and a fake job for security's sake. And in dating I'm much more inclined to be vague about where I work. It's a boring job anyway so girls don't need details.
My view of "romantic" relationships was already ruined well before the so-called #metoo movement. As a man it only helped solidify my position further. Relationships above a 'close casual friendship' are a complete and total waste of time and never worth the time wasted to pursue.
Yeah! Let's make women make the first move! They are so good at complaining and blaming men, but by never doing anything they can also never be wrong!! If they are so good, why don't they do it? Hypocrites!!!
So are you saying playing hard to get should be ignored @randomgirl. When I was in school I went after a girl I like even tho she said no many many times, till one day I was able to get her and we went out for a good 2 years. But now guys can't do that because it's "harassment"
That's an interesting pt. I mean now if a girl says no to u multiple times and u keep on persisting it is wrong bc she told u no so u should respect her and not stalk her. This has happened to my friends and they didn't appreciate it. I don't think girls play hard to get that much anymore but they shouldn't I guess bc that just causes miscommunication
It makes me not want to approach women, and not want to do anything sexual with them even if they initiate it because now I'm considered guilty until proven innocent
No but it has me cautious of things I may say to or around a female in the work place. You never know who could be a militant feminist that could sue you for sexual harassment and get you fired.

The movement, no. I've had my own experiences that has made me look at how I wish to proceed or even try at relationships.
I feel like it's much wiser to stay discreet on where you work. My facebook page has a fake last name and a fake job for security's sake. And in dating I'm much more inclined to be vague about where I work. It's a boring job anyway so girls don't need details.
Yes. It moved me from a 'well... I should be careful who I'm with' to 'are you just trying to take my money? >_>
My view of "romantic" relationships was already ruined well before the so-called #metoo movement.
As a man it only helped solidify my position further. Relationships above a 'close casual friendship' are a complete and total waste of time and never worth the time wasted to pursue.
It made me learn to not even breathe near a woman or I will get the police taking my door off
If you breathe near a woman, you're raping her. She didn't indicate consent for that.
Yes guys can't do much anymore, without being considered as rape. The whole "guys should make the first move" is no more.
Yeah! Let's make women make the first move! They are so good at complaining and blaming men, but by never doing anything they can also never be wrong!! If they are so good, why don't they do it? Hypocrites!!!
Sexual assault is not the only way u can ask a girl out... u could just ask her politely...
That is what I mean. This gen is more like " hey would you date me?" "No" "ok"
15 years old the guy would try to look cool for her and TRY to get her.
Ago*
@randomgirl70 but then it can end up as an "Unwanted Advance" and twitter'd over the internet to make you out to be a sick freak.
Don't look in a womans general direction or you might go to jail for rape
It makes me not want to approach women, and not want to do anything sexual with them even if they initiate it because now I'm considered guilty until proven innocent
These women can ruin someone's entile LIFE with one sentence. It makes me want to dig a hole and jump in it never to emerge again.
Reserve me a place next to you, please :)
Ill make sure to dig a little wider hole then 😀
No but it has me cautious of things I may say to or around a female in the work place. You never know who could be a militant feminist that could sue you for sexual harassment and get you fired.
