I've never been is South Assia so I don't want to give an opinion. @Genie23 what is your opinion for this question as a South Asian woman?
I do see Asian women liking white men more than average but I wouldn't go as far to say what you are.

I lived in taught in Thailand for a couple of years. Thai women think that dark skin is ugly, and some of them are very dark. Department stores actually sell whitening lotion.
