Depends on where you live, but if we are talking about the way our legal structures are setup it's rare for men to have a demonstrateable privilege over women in most western countries.
It's way over blown by media, sure a small element may exist but no where near as much as others say. I'd be willing to say female privalage is strong than male privalage at the moment.
Yes it's a myth. Society don't just give us chances and pay us more just because we're men but because men in general do something about it. It became a myth because lots of women don't check their own privilege
I beg to differ. Suspending bias is very simple once you start dissecting issues and look at things from purely statistical and analytical perspectives. This is something that I feel like isn't taught in school anymore and I feel like it's very troubling that it isn't
I've seem some fairly objective answers. It requires a level of empathy as well to see things from the perspective of each gender. But you're right in that it's fairly rare.
In the western word no. Men are just made to be robust, work hard, not to complain and get things done and from the benefits of that and the rewards we receive makes us privileged? Lol.
For those that work hard the "privilege" does not apply. It's those that leach on the hard work of others. For those that are not willing to work hard that do not receive the privilege complain about it as it is unfair.

It's definitely a myth in the United States. In most of the rest of the world, particularly in non-westernized countries, it's actually a thing.
Both men and women have unique privileges. The myth is that men have more than women. The opposite is actually true.
I saw a homeless man on the street and i gave him 1 euro, then i saw a homeless woman and i gave her 77 cents
Lolol Savage!
It's definitely a myth. If it were a real thing, my life would clearly be a lot better than it is currently.
What privilege do I have that women do not have multiple of?

And in fact it's illegal to pay someone less just because of their gender or race. Go ahead and down vote the truth. Privilege you say?
Here's part 2 of that male privilege of yours.
And sure legal to do that right?
Yes it s a myth but there is a strong matriarchy and female privilege. We have to stop that. People are sleeping and don't realize it.
Eh, I'd say no, but it works both ways.
In some things yes, but in other cases being a male bites you in the ass.
No, it is not, they are also animals on the loose and everyone should be afraid.
No.
We, men, have our own privilege, as do women (and every other demographic) have theirs.
Yes, its a myth.
Are there differences in how men and women get favored in different scenarios?
Of course.
People need to know that men and women are different, not the same.
Nobody should be favored
No shit
I'm seeing women < 25 responding. Where are the rest?
I think it works both ways, some things they're more privileged and other times women are
Only If by privilege you mean working longer hours and dying earlier.
Yes there is no such thing as male privileges it's only female privileges.
Ignorant
@burntgold List the male privileges then, go right ahead I'll wait.
An hour has gone by and not one example of male privilege.
Ya I feel women have more privileges in certain aspects and the same goes with men
Meh, you won't get non-biased answers from any of us

It is, indeed. Which is why it's really hard (almost impossible) to get non-biased opinions here
