Why do biracial people ignore their white half?

If someone has a white parent and a black parent, they say they're black.
If they have a white parent and a Mexican parent, they say they're Mexican etc

Funny how "white privilege" is apparently a thing yet people are so quick to remove their white history. This doesn't stop at people who are only half, I've seen people who are 3/4 white try and do this too.

I guess "victim minority privilege" is the real privilege and biracials know it.
