Passing flirtatious notes in the college classroom; good, bad, or indifferent?

This is a poll regarding passing flirty or love-letter type notes in class, in a college class specifically. Not just mutual passing of notes, but maybe sneaking a note in someones purse or backpack. Childish? Cute? Fun? What do you think?

its cute but at the same time a little immature we are at college to learn something flirting should be out of the class room and notes are so old school any way its all about the text

Yeah I see what you mean. I brought this up cause I did this with a girl I like in class, we've talked a few times but are not close. It was just a spontaneous thing I did (sketched her face on paper and told her she's gorgeous, and gave my contact info); yet now I feel like it creeped her out cause she didn't text or email me back. I guess it was too soon, meh, just a bad idea, I guess I'll find out tomorrow in class.

Yeah... it may have been a little too soon. It's a very cute idea, though. Just... maybe wait to get to know her a little more next time. Did you have class yet? If so, what happened?

Also, it just occurred to me that if you slipped it into her backpack, it's possible that she just didn't find the note yet.

Well, I went to the class today, and at the end of class she came over to me and said 'I got your note, sorry but I'm seeing someone'... and I said something like 'well I just wanted to do something nice for somebody... (and then) I'm glad you liked my letter', and I just put my arm on her shoulder (hoping for a hug) but she walked away. The only thing that bothers me is whether or not she is making up the 'I'm already with someone' thing just cause she doesn't like me =/
