Are you boring if you don't like to party, or go to clubs?

I'm definitely not a club person, or even much of a party person. I'd rather hang out with a couple friends. I like doing many other things, just not clubbing, or bars, or that whole scene. An old friend was in town, and he wanted to get together, which I thought we could go grabs some beers and catch up. But he kept asking me how often I "go out" and I felt like a bit of a loser telling him I don't "go out" much. It seems like nearly everyone my age, if you aren't "going out" then you are a boring person?

Personally , I love clubbing, I don't get to do it that much because it takes money and I'm a student so I'm a poor f***er lol. Going to bars is cool I guess, but I really do prefer the club vibe. House parties are also awesome but again I prefer the club vibe. loud house or electro music, good DJ, hot chicks, large dancefloor, drinks... love it!

So yeah if you don't go out you're unconventional. But that's fine. I mean if you're having fun doing whatever else you like to do then that's great. I mean in the end it's your life, it's your choice, you do whatever the f*** you wanna do. Unltimately there is no good or bad thing to be doing, there's only what you enjoy and what you don't enjoy; good or bad is always subjective so make it about you not others.

As for judging other people because they go to clubs and labelling them as boneheads, yeah you can do that, doesn't make you a better person...

Also remember this, the deferred life plan is no way to live. Yeah plan your life out, but don't wait till you're 40 to start living life! Live life without regrets.

Definitely not. As long as you have other hobbies you truly enjoy, you can't be a boring person (at least to the right people). I mean, take that you love reading, you can always talk about books, authors, etc with people who also share that same hobby. Don't feel bad if you don't "go out", people do their own thing.

Think of it this way, some people truly enjoy going out (good for them) while others party and stuff simply because they don't want to be seen as a loser (hah). Don't force yourself to be the latter; power to you.

It depends what you consider boring, I have fun having my best friend sleepover and talking about old crushes and whatching stupid movies hehe, or just go for a walk and take pictures at rhings that I consider worth seeing...

I like going clubbing, but not too much, since I don't drink and almost everyone else is drunk... But I had have good times in clubs too.

We all have different things we're interested on, I'd rather see a movie than go to bar or something, I do got out with my friends a lot and they love going to clubs so I go along , but they also like doing with me what I like.

Ignore people who give you crap for not wanting to go out and stand around in a dark room full of strangers, booze, and bad music. I hate that crap too. I'm hardly a boring person. I do fun things all the time, but I don't "look" like I'm in the middle of a party. You are developing interests that will serve you better later in life when going out and partying really isn't much of an option. Those boneheads making fun of you will be the ones feeling like losers.

I agree, problem is I'm 21 now, and so is everyone around me, I don't think their looking at later in life. Good to meet a fellow musician btw.

Yeah, you too. That's what boneheads do: not think about the future. Anyway, sometimes it's worthwhile to get out and make yourself do it but it shouldn't become a big thing if you don't enjoy it. You'll slowly meet other people that feel the same way you do. We're out there.

Not boring at all. The loud, headache inducing music and voices, the sweat, the cramped spaces (if it can even be called that), the overbearing heat, the stupid people acting even more stupid due to alcohol etc just isn't for me. The only reason I ever go to clubs or parties is because my friends need looking after. If not, they will get in trouble. They're like new born kittens. Curious about EVERYTHING!

i can relate totally with what you're saying. I would even describe myself as boring just because of it as well, but I wouldn't change it to appease other people either. I've never had an urge to go clubbing and be involved in that kind of crowd. I'm much happier just kicking it with a couple of friends and rapping about whatever.
