To all the my body my choice people, I really hope that something not so pleasant will happen to them during the abortion procedure. A bit like it happened to a leader of the pro-choice movement of some european country these last weeks.
Kind of seems like leaving some corpses on the way is the only way for this kind of people to understand reason. Use fucking contraception or keep your damn leg closed, if you don't want to have children, for fuck's sake. At the very least we all know the social extraction of those who are pro-abortion. Less of them will do the world good.
@BuckU And I'll tell you more, I'm becoming a father in the first months of next year! Tell me how many potential lives will be in your trash bin by then, ok? You have fun now.
Pro life. I feel like people in the future are going to look back at this period with disgust. Religion aside, it’s morally wrong to just kill or stop an innocent life because you’re too irresponsible to use a condom or use the variety of birth control options. If you were that irresponsible, then take some accountability and have the baby. It’s just a really strange concept that the bad people in this scenario are the pro lifers lol. If you take a step back, it’s just kind of twilight zone sort of scenario. They’ve made it about women’s rights instead of the fact that you’re ending or stopping an innocent life due to irresponsibility.
I think pro life and pro choice is the same thing. How is not making the best choice for the mother, not making the best life choice for all parties? I think that we as a society need to just butt out of this one. We have no idea what that 15 year old feels... father takes off... parents kick her out... friends stop talking to her. To force a child not yet done growing themselves to carry and raise a child? Or carry and give child away? Unless you have been in a possiton like that... having to make the ultimate choice. We should just step back and give the love and support most of these women need and deserve. Instead of the chastising ridiculing and judgmental views we lay upon them.
I'm actually against the phrasing of those two options. I believe that when you say pro-life you automatically making assumption that somebody who doesn't believe that the government should have a say in what a woman can and can't do with her body necessarily is against life and I don't find that to be the case. I have a moral objection in my own life to abortion I believe that life begins in conception but I also believe that we answer to one God for the decisions that we make on this Earth and that it's not my place or anybody else and certainly not the government's place to judge a woman for a decision that she made like they have a god-given power to do so.
When abortion isn't legal, it still happens, but it becomes a black market, often unsafe and unsanitary procedure, which threatens the life of a woman.
Forcing a woman to carry a pregnancy to term can also threaten the life of the woman. That woman may also be the sole provider for other children, who would become wards of the state if the woman lost her life due to complications that could have been avoided through abortion.
Denying women access to abortion is gender discrimination. Restricting access to abortion denies women access to a procedure that can reduce exposure to health risks that are not experienced by men.
When a pregnancy is unwanted, forcing a woman to carry it to term can take a heavy toll on her physical and emotional well-being.
Denying the right to abortion removes a woman's power to make decisions about her own body, her family planning, and health care. Governments should play no role in making that decision for her.
I'm not into politics. I don't care what others say because I don't give a rats ass. I'm pro choice. The reason why I say that because I am one of those women who chose to make a decision of my self to know what is better for me. If I'm prolife and I got pregnant when I was 16. I wouldn't be able to finish school, and I know I won't be having a career. That's my choice the way I see myself. Nobody can control my life. I have two older sisters who are pro life. I've seen their struggle but they made it happen. I wouldn't be able to do what they have done. I got major respects on them because the were young and became moms at a very young age. I believe girls and women who are old enough to know better can make the decisions of their own body. Men can't tell u what to do, not even religion, society and etc. U are u. U know what's right and what's wrong. U can make ur own choice.
Will have to go with pro choice. It should not by any means be accepted as a... trivial matter - but in a number of cases a desperate woman may end up, it is far better to end a fetus's life than to cause lifelong suffering for at least the mother and that (future) living being. Rape, disease, lack of basic living conditions - or simply pregnancy with someone other than her partner (many women consider it their right to fuck multiple people - in secret while fooling someone they are together - they call it hormones but it is really a form of macbethian madness - if she falls pregnant like that it us better to abort than to cheat a man it us his child - those who have given birth that way look visibly guilty and defensive about it)
I would like to consider my self Pro-Female Rights.
I do consider the situations on both sides, and I grew up in a Catholic family background.
I personally feel it's a Woman's Right to Choose what she and/or possibly her partner decide together to do? It's her body, not the public community's. What decision can she and possibly her partner live with? It's between them and possibly their religious beliefs. If it's just her, then again what can she live with, knowing she is terminating her child"s life.
I and "no one else" have the right to force someone to do anything that they are not ready to accept for them selves.
I'm pro life. Abortion is not a means of birth control. This person made a choice. They have a responsibility.
Stop. If only Abortion was limited to rape. It's numbers would decrease by a magnitude.
What if she's raped? Why punish the child? Why confound the trauma with knowing you needed a life?
Honestly I do not care about the mothers opinion. In this nation we belive people have a right to life and the pursuit of happiness.
What about to save a mother's life? This is the 1 instance I can see it.
However a 20 year veteran Abortion doctor said the number of those Abortions with technological advances now is extremely low.
The only excuse is people do not value the lives if their children. And want no consequences for their actions. Hence vast majority of Abortion is used as birth control. Really I couldn't give Lee's of a shit if you want it or not once you made it you make a choice you live with it.
It’s a double edged sword since on one hand you’re demanding someone go through pregnancy (which is absolutely hell ) and then have the responsibility of having a child which is enormous on the other hand like it or not abortion is murder the heart beat starts at about 6 weeks so in order to abort the baby you must snuff out his/her life which stops his/her heartbeat also like it or not actions you have made had led you there I can’t just do whatever I want and bail out on the consequences because I don’t like them I also can’t go around murdering anyone I deem unworthy of life or a nuisance to my quality of life i can see both sides of the argument my wife’s 7 months pregnant and she’s been so strong I admire her and admit I wouldn’t be as strong as her to be able to put up with all of that however me and my wife would side with pro choice at the end of the day.
The wording of this oft repeated question is interesting, in and of itself. Why not just call it "pro-life" or "pro-death", because that's what the one view is REALLY saying. Why isn't it "pro-abortion" or "anti-abortion*", with an asterisk? There are still some people who deny a woman an abortion EVEN IF the child is diagnosed with Tay Sachs Disease - go figure.
The wording presumes that "life" begins at fertilization, not just at implantation. This discussion will never, ever end.
Somewhere in between. I support early-term abortion and oppose late-term abortion, and highly suggest people err on the side of caution and avoid mid-term abortion. (I'm pretty close to definitively opposing mid-term abortions, too)
And I don't think giving birth, having the ability to do so, or having done so in the past, is that relevant. People's perspectives shouldn't change based on how inconvenient a baby is to someone. You shouldn't be like "I think theft is wrong but if not robbing someone is inconvenient to you, then I'll let it slide."
I'm pro choice, y'know your body your choice. I'm can get behind that but if were trying to be fair then I must support financial abortion for men. If a man does not want the child or to be a father but a woman does he should be able to financially opt out.
I can't help but laugh at men that are pro life😂 like trust me y'all have no idea how difficult pregnancy and raising a child is. If they did they would definitely have a different opinion about abortion. No one needs to be forced to be pregnant and give birth if they dont want to.
I am pro choice because I was 19 when I got pregnant and in college. I was with someone who did not care about me at the time and I was scared. Looking back on it now it has been the best choice I have ever made. I lost my job recently due to covid and I am broke and living in a studio apartment. I barely have enough money for food for me let alone another person. That is no place for a child to be raised. And if you think otherwise that is your opinion and I respect that.
I don’t think that the decision is an easy one. I used to be Pro Death. Then I saw how far out states and morons have gone. Killing a kid that’s born? That’s just insane ! I’m sorry for your loss. I’m very aware that your choice will always weigh heavy in your mind.😘
Please stop calling it that. Considering I was raped at the time and I made the right decision for me. I am now still in college and could not have done that if I had a baby. I want my kids to have the best start in life and not come into this world not being wanted and unloved
You know , when multiply all your wrong irresponsible behavior and take full responsibility for your own equities , you no longer will be left with a perspective thats wrong anylonger. No more exuses that go around the hurdle to convince yourself wrongs are rights. That's inside the box looking out. Instead join the perspective that's not an exuse and endeaver through it honestly and earnestly. That's outside the box looking in. Everything that's happened to you is because your playing the victim card and not forgiving the other person. So instead you are left with carrying the bourdon.
I know that you hate to think of it that way , but it’s not Pro Choice.. it’sPro Death and that will never change. That’s just a nicer way to call it so you don’t think about the Truth. Read what I’ve written, you’ll see what I said, about rape.
@Djaay Yes because I was raped when I was walking home from work and it is my fault. I was on birth control and the were not wearing condoms. I was grabbed and raped and left in an ally and it is my fault
But I wanted to lose my virginity to someone I loved. I wanted to plan my kids and get married so they can have a happy home. Again my kids deserve better than what I can give them right now
I understand. My sympathy is towards you dear. But truthfully , step away from those who palagerize themselfs with caos and remember that you are your own fortune cookie. A lot of times you are the only one in your own way to success. Never give up your dream. Work hard at it and keep going with perseverance and a straight perspective. Your step ×step achievements create your confidence.
This is the last time I am replying to anyone because this is ridiculous how much I am getting hounded for a choice I made! So please stop going at me because I shared my experience with you all. It was traumatic enough and then I found out I was pregnant. I was 19 and very scared and alone. And yes I forgive myself and the people who raped me. Amen 🙏
Pro life people say they’re prolife when most of them only care for the unborn baby than the mother. I think it’s horribly hypocritical because when these babies are born to bad home situations, these prolife people suddenly turn around and hate them.
I'm against criminalizing abortion and pro-choice in law but pro-life the other way. If that seems confusing, I'm against criminalizing narcotics, but support discouraging their use. I think it's more productive to rehab a heroin addict than to lock them behind bars. I also think it's more productive to educate and discourage unwanted pregnancies than it is to lock women up behind bars who seek to abort.

If it's a personal decision that I'm a part of I'd generally err on the pro-life side.
If it's a matter of public policy (should abortion be legal to those who want it) I'd be on the pro-choice side.
As a jurisdictional matter I'm for individual states making the determination as to whether or not abortion should be legal and what limits are on it, rather than a one-size-fits-all federal determination.
So basically, I think either one is fine as a matter of policy and individual electorates should determine what's allowed, though personally I would advise against it but would also vote to keep it legal.
Pro choice. Abortions have been steadily going down with more investment with sex education and avaliable birth control including abortion availability.
Pro life is only about punishment and wanting people to suffer. No actual solution to a problem people face. To the point where rape victims have to marry the assailant. That goes back to Bible belt in America. It's the way to protect the sanctity of virgin marriage for the church.
i'm pro choice when it's 1 trimister... when it's in the 7-10 months yes there 1 state that let's you bring the baby back and they kill it for you 1 month after it's been born... that's why there a debate... if they kept it at 1-3 months everything would be fine... but it's not.

@matchrestore There are some valid reasons for an abortion and if it puts the mother's wife in danger is a valid reason.

@JamieLoves for other people sure. I'm pregnant right now so definitely pro life for myself
I am pro choice because I was 19 when I got pregnant and in college. I was with someone who did not care about me at the time and I was scared. And whose falt would that be?
I was forced at the time. They did not wear a condom and I was on the pill. So yes I suppose they is my fault 🤔
I don’t think that the decision is an easy one.

Listen , I don't mean that its your falt for being raped. Just how your hanging on to the bourdon without forgiving the rapist.
Forgiveness isn't for the other person , its for you.
Don't have sex without a condom. And don't have sex with a person you're not willing to have as the father of your children
@JamieLoves shut up
@Djaay I will try and do that
@7771999 that was not my fault at all over what happened
Many people with kids fall on hard at some point. Should the parent have the option to put the kid down like a sick dog to avoid future suffering.
The "unhappy future" argument for abortion is not a valid one.
@chocolatepenguin1 I'm sorry if you had absolutely no hand in it.
But if you were in some sort of casual relationship... I don't know what to tell you
