"Pro Choice" = RESPONSIBILITY for YOUR fertility BEFORE unintentional conception!
"Pro Life" = Intrusive busy-bodies PERSONALLY affirm that THEY will MATERIALLY $$$ and PSYCHOLOGICALLY nurture... abandoned orphaned infants til legally deemed 'adults'~
It's such a complex issue, but many pretend it isn't and think that you can only ever be either 'pro-life' or 'pro-choice'. I've changed my mind on this so many times I've lost count. There are arguments both for and against abortion, and we'll be discussing this topic well into the rest of the 21st century. We're not going to settle it here, that's for sure.
Currently I'm pro choice but that may change once we perfect the artificial womb.
Currently they have incubated mice to complete term before ending the experiment.
My criteria for this is viability. If the entity can survive outside the womb (1% survivability) it shouldn't be terminated. Once this technology is perfected the calculus changes to who pays for the service.

I think everyone should be sterilized at birth and can only apply to have children after a certain age. At which point they take a test and are assessed, just like a driver license. Given the state of the world over population pollution and destruction of ecosystem it’s time we treat human life as we claim to treat it “sacred and valuable” sacred and valuable things aren’t created in a bathroom club high on ecstasy with a stranger. But that won’t ever happen and it makes me sound crazy so I’ll just say I’m pro choice.
I love babies too, but don't you think the consequences of forcing a mother or parents to have kids is actually counterproductive? The child may be brought up in an abusive due to parents not wanting them or could be forced to be put up for adoption - leading tax dollars/state to take care of them. Although, if I'm right, I don't like the fact that the male has absolutely no say - even if they're married.
@Inbox We have birth control, EVERYTHING, there's no excuse to having a baby because you made a mistake. And even if you did have a baby, you do not get to kill it. You're a monster. Abortions are mostly done by feminists who are irresponsible anyways. I don't think we should make the exception for 0.001% of those cases where rape happens or whatever, because you end up normalizing it for anyone.
@Inbox And people complaining that we have enough people in the world. Why is immigration allowed? Plus, at least immigrants have better morals, they have more children than Westerners.
Cut my tube? So you'd take that risk of having a child grow up in an abusive relationship or put up for adoption? Would you pay for them? Additionally, if someone raped you, could you look at your child who is a constant reminder of such trauma?
@Inbox I mean if you don't want kids, get a vasectomy or whatever then. And, again, rape cases are so rare for abortion. Stop making it seem common, it's not. Literally, people are always bringing up the rape case.
I'm not making it common, you are assuming I am. Moreover, it was you that actually brought up the rape argument LOL. Let be very clear, as someone who studies history extensively - no policy, technology, ideologies, politics, etc are ever 100% perfect.
The weaknesses in these policies ALWAYS cause some form of collateral damage. If the collateral damage is significant enough and persists long enough, it through that collateral damage that the seeds for the next revolution are planted.
Now, you can ignore all the "minor" possibilities, but in the end, if that was you or me? Moreover, you can bet that some politician is also going to use that collateral damage to get votes, then comes the angry whiny Feminists. To make the best policy, we have to include all possibilities that we humanly can.
With my POV, it naturally provokes anti baby killers like you, and I understand that argument. The irony however is that prior to the early 1930s in America, abortion was legal and not even a moral issue as crazy as it sounds. It's a matter of choosing the lesser evil, but as always, that is up to the eye of the beholder.
And that's completely fine. All that I ask is you keep a more broad, long run, and consequential POVs for any policies or beliefs - something which the piss poor excuse of US journalism no longer does (CNN, Fox, New York Times/Post, The Hill, Washington Post, etc). It's SAD that as an American born, 90% of my news sources comes from outside the USA... SMH. They're one of the main reasons why America has become drunk on division and extremism.
Pro-life. Her choice was whether or not to have sex. You have sex, making a baby is a possible consequence. Why punish the baby for your choice to kill it? It has been proven that babies can feel pain as early as 1 month into the pregnancy. Even in the case of rape, it is not the child's fault and there is always adoption. If you do not want a baby, close them damn legs.
@likelyOK Many of us were given a chance at life by our parents. So pay it forward. If someone doesn't want kids then they can get their tubes tied and still fuck to their heart's content and not have to worry about condoms or birth control.
Pro choice but only if there's a reason. If it's like that some irresponsible adult forgot to put on the condom or forgot to take birth control then I'm not gonna like that person. I wouldn't say anything because until a certain period of time the fetus is considered an alive human but I would still dislike that person. I don't know but I can't just convince myself to not dislike such an irresponsible person. I wouldn't call the person a murderer but probably wouldn't like her as a person either. Not that I'm telling young women in their 20's to become mothers without being ready for it but for being irresponsible I'm really gonna hate the guy and the girl.
By reason it's obvious that I meant if a bad incident happened or if continuing is endangering the girls life. And I didn't tell irresponsible people to not abort but I have the right to dislike them. They don't really deserve any kind of sympathy for their irresponsibility
I’m definitely pro life because abortion is violence, violence is murder and murder is hatred. Abortion has never been a choice! It’s escaping the consequences of YOUR choice by taking away the choices from ANOTHER HUMAN LIFE! Abortion has and never will be a choice. Defund abortion clinics! Defend unborn babies!
Pro choice. It's your body. There are too many variables for dudes to try and tell you what to do with your body. They aren't paying or doing shit for you but shaming you. People are too nosey nowadays. i believe there should be counseling of you are unsure but if you're mind is made up... do you.
I am pro life. I think the first question we need to ask is when does life began. Then go from there. The second point is I’m not for women having abortions out of convenience which statically most abortions are done. I’m not for them blaming men for getting them pregnant, but then the men have no say in how the child is treated. We don’t have any reproductive rights and it’s a double standard women love to keep but somehow want to be equals when it suits them.
@BuckU wow a typo from autocorrect. Good job not actually addressing anything of substance that I’ve said. So I’ll just ignore you for not actually having a logical response or refutation to my points. Also, I do have a degree, but I digress. You’re not worth my time.
If your pro-life... you are not allowed to eat (chicken) eggs every again. If you disagree on how this is any different than aborting a fetus, you need some education.
I’m pro mind your own business. If you’re gonna have an abortion idgaf, I’m not going to stop you. If you’re planning on not getting one, good for you. It’s none of my business, I don’t get why it’s such a big issue. I’m chill with either side as long as you’re not an extremist. If you’re pro life and you go out and protest and harass women, fuck you. If you’re pro choice and you’re having abortions every 2 weeks for the hell of it, fuck you. Other than that, I don’t care :)

I’m Pro-Life but I sympathize with most women who feel they have to make that choice if their were not so many social pressures and financial issues, etc. What a can’t stand is a man who says they are Pro-Life but then shames or degrades single mothers can you say Hypocrite much.
I voted pro-life because that baby didn’t ask to get here. The condom could also have broken during intercourse. I know I’ll get downvoted, but that’s my stance. I know, too, that I’m not female and can’t have a baby, so my opinion doesn’t mount to a bill of beans as the saying goes; but that’s where I stand.
I´m pro life generally speaking because creating life is the consequence of engaging in coitus. If I´m not ready to have a baby I use condoms or different ways of getting intimate with her.
@NoManTwo that is bullshit, the man’s statement is responsible on the part of the man your statement only makes it sound as if the woman is responsible it’s a two person act unless she is getting it from sperm bank.
@likelyOK Thank you you understood right. I think it´s not only a woman´s responsibility to not get pregnant if she doesn´t want to but a man´s as well. It´s not like we guys are entitled to have sex and cum inside a woman. Yes a woman can say not if she doesn´t want to have sex but I think guys should be more aware of their doing and the consequences of it because sex isn´t everything you can do with women just because porn tells you.
Most people are pro choice because they are thought to devalue life from a young age. A child is safest in the womb of a mother, now imagine if you will, being the safest you could be, only to be ripped to shreds by the choice your mother made becuase she wanted to get fcked by 20 other guys
His right to decide ends when he won't put on a condom. And if the condom broke, tough luck. Don't put your penis in someone unless you're ready to face the possible consequences. Sex is for men, not boys.
It's also interesting that so many men claim that woman use abortion as a lazy alternative to birth control. Do you have any idea how painful and emotionally traumatizing it can be to go through an abortion? It's not something that women choose to do because it's "convenient". Because it's not. At all. It is not a pleasant experience.
Pro choice, but I am also of the opinion that (under normal circumstances) two people make the choice to have sex, so two people should have a say in the result. If the two disagree, whichever way, the baby should be born with the one that declined disavowing any rights to it. This is obviously not in cases of rape, or when there's high risk on the woman, in those cases it's all her. In other circumstances, you fuck it, you give it a say in what happens.

Okay so.. 1. Rape victims 2. To young 3. Not murder it’s cells not a living breathing person.
Also, women who get abortions are usually broken. If I got one, I'd probably never be the same.

Im going to leave this here...
If your pro-life... you are not allowed to eat (chicken) eggs every again.
If you disagree on how this is any different than aborting a fetus, you need some education.
You do realize than humans and chicken are not the same species?
You do realize they are both living creatures with emotions and feelings once they are produced?
That's not exactly true. Chicken eggs unfertilized are what's sold to us at stores to consume. They have 0 potential to become a chick inside an egg.
Human life> animal life not the same thing
@jahaims Exactly.
@jahaims sort of true, when we see an animal in pain and we know it is dying, we do the honourable thing and we put it out of its pain.
With a human, we just let them suffer away in abject pain and misery causing untold suffering to their family.
Yep different
Not to be a smart ass, but what about vegetarians? Aren’t plants living things, too?
I’m pro mind your own business. If you’re gonna have an abortion idgaf, I’m not going to stop you. If you’re planning on not getting one, good for you. It’s none of my business, I don’t get why it’s such a big issue. I’m chill with either side as long as you’re not an extremist. I´m pro life generally speaking because creating life is the consequence of engaging in coitus. If I´m not ready to have a baby I use condoms or different ways of getting intimate with her.
And that is the point.
Sex is a choice. and thus becoming pregnant is a choice.
If a woman does not to want to get she needs to choose to take control of her reproductive system.
@NoManTwo that is bullshit, the man’s statement is responsible on the part of the man your statement only makes it sound as if the woman is responsible it’s a two person act unless she is getting it from sperm bank.
A woman can say no.
No means no!!!
Her choice.
If a woman is incapable of not getting pregnant if she doesn't want to bring she should not be spreading her legs.
Her choice. Her sole responsibility.
@NoManTwo that is bullshit it’s both don’t have sex do the world a favor get snipped no one needs your weak ass reproducing their is enough scum
@likelyOK Thank you you understood right. I think it´s not only a woman´s responsibility to not get pregnant if she doesn´t want to but a man´s as well. Abortion is the responsible option. Not all people are fit to be parents. An unborn baby won't suffer.
Pro choice, but I am also of the opinion that (under normal circumstances) two people make the choice to have sex, so two people should have a say in the result.
