I don't believe it because Trump said, but I do believe that there are two genders - male and female - and most people are either heterosexual, bisexual, or homosexual. There are a great many people who want to create an entire identity around some special name devoted to whatever it is they do with their genitals, but I think most of those people are just attention seeking weirdos.

Statistically speaking, even Trump has to be almost half right every once in awhile. If you were born with the penis, you are male. If you're born with the vagina, you are female. Males have more testosterone, females have more estrogen, but they both have both growth hormones within them.

There are 2 genders from a functional standpoint, but there are more than 2 variations of them.

Male.

Female.

Female everywhere but the groin (usually referred to as futanari).

Male everywhere but the groin (unsure what this is called).

Multiple variations of hermaphrodites, which count as male and female as they have either complete or partial versions of both sex organs.

Intersex, where a male embryo developed female do to partial or complete androgen resistance (in many cases everything on the outside looks 100% female and you can't tell without going to the doctor, this is because these people actually have less testosterone impact on there bodies than normal women)

Intersex, where a female embryo developed into a male do to partial or complete estrogen resistance (same thing applies but in reverse)

Then you have artifically induced sex changes, where people have surgery to look like the opposite gender, functionally though this makes them genderless.

And lastly, in rare cases, people are born without any sex organs, making them genderless.

Secondly gender is something developed by evolution. Evolution does not do binary features like that. Its pretty much impossible for gender to be male/female unless you are here to tell me that evolution and biology is wrong and man was designed by God.
