And I find it ironic that there are some nitwits out there that say they are not... Yet they have that ability and right to share this opinion and will not be harmed for having such opinions. What a horrible country...
@VanillaSalt yes, because the military is a totally different circumstance, especially in training. You have expectations there, and they can't have idealistic people or beliefs when a war breaks out. In the military, you're kind of a machine designed to do a specific job, and that job is often kill and destroy without reservation.
@VanillaSalt well, this is a funky place. In the military you are broken away from society. You are not allowed to be your own snowflake, until recently. This is a new issue that has a lot of kids thinking not to join the military under Biden, especially since they openly support Pride within the military, besides all the other woke junk. So yes, that's really messed up, and they can do it within the military establishment.
Not at all and I still think Sweden is a much better country then USA infact I am not aware of any country that would fit me better. It's not like the country is perfect far from it. It's just that all other countries has same or worse problems.
Not particularly. My allegiance is to freedom, not to dotted lines on a map. I only love my country in so far as it is free. And as of 2020, it is no longer free.
I was born in Australia and I have found that Australia will usually offer you the freedom to work, earn a living and allow you to become what you aspire to, if you are willing to put in the effort. Australia offers many freedoms that many other Countries don’t. Generally Australia is a tolerant Nation and returns the effort you put in.
No im. not patriotic and the country is fine... I don't see a reason to be patriotic also seeing people that way reminds me of cults or brainwashed people
I'm a proud African American who is happy to dwell on this soil. I hope all who have a problem with that struggle to accept it. :)

Well, if we're talking about America, I'd say I'm proud of the past, ashamed of the present, and afraid of the future. I think America is still one of the best countries in the world, perhaps the best place to live. But with each passing day it becomes less and less great. I do not think that there is a very bright future for this country if it continues to develop in the same direction as it is now.
Tbh honest America is the best. I say that as a former foreigner. Anybody with sense would vote Republican to save this country. To those who disagree I have one thing to say: Happy Pride Month pervert!
I’m patriotic when other people shit on my country. I’m not very patriotic outside of those circumstances. It’s like a “yes my country sucks but only I get to say that” type of thing
yeah America first I live here , my people built this and fought in every war. why wouldn't i be. now if you tell me how to be patriotic you can suck my nuts.
Hell yeah I'm patriotic do you know what can happen to the people who say the country is horrible, its were all ashamed of them too, in other countries? Some places they would be publicly stoned 😂 this country is horrible, yeah ok snowflakes.

Yes, but not some of the sketchy folks who live in it and some the ones who run it or think they run it. There's things we can improve on but then again every country can improve on something. There's no such thing as a perfect country.

And yet military men and women were removed for political beliefs? Freedom huh?

They removed the trump supporters and then pushed critical race theory. Explain that then?

You should leave then.
Are you dumb or something. I am in Sweden why would I leave, if I like it here.
Yes, I am patriotic.
I love the United States.

I am, I have always had a certain idea of my country and there are some things that are very valuable to me.
No im. not patriotic and the country is fine... I don't see a reason to be patriotic also seeing people that way reminds me of cults or brainwashed people
Not in the slightest. I don't have that in me. It is a feeling I don't understand nor I acknowledge within me.
The founding values are good but the current population don't really reflect them so I'm going to have to say no, not really.
I'm a proud African American who is happy to dwell on this soil. I hope all who have a problem with that struggle to accept it. :)

As a black girl I am DEFINITELY not proud of the past! I'm much more optimistic about the present and future though.
@Sarahnah This is my opinion, you have a right to your opinion. Have a nice day.
I do feel a strange swell of pride when I see racists in other countries and think "at least our racists are passed that stage of ridiculousness."

Only on the fourth of July or memorial day. Pretty much
I am patriotic but not to the US I feel more patriotic towards Cuba since I identify as Latin.
I'm neither "I love my country!!!" or "i hate my country!!!" I'm just pretty "meh" about it.
