I understand how the counter culture aims to change/augment history. But, the flag? As much as they may hate it, many Americans have died for it. Not just white people, all Americans have lost loved ones. You would wind up insulting your own heritage. What else? Are we going back to the moon so we can change the American flags that were planted there? Ridiculous and ludicrous.

Changing the flag won't change the hearts and ideas of the people in this country. It's just a representation of an ideal anyway, and one we haven't lived up to as it should be. When there actually IS "liberty and justice for ALL", I might think about pledging allegiance to a symbol.

I am getting very tired, indeed, of "celebrities" defaming the country yet are perfectly content to accept a job and money from the country which they profess to hate. And what about Caryn Johnson, Roseann O'Donnell and others who were "going to leave the country if Trump wins the election". Well, he won, and we are still stuck their rantings. They lied. Period. It's too 'busy' looking with too many stars and too many stripes, but I wouldn't want it changed the way Macey Grey wants it. Maybe red, white, and blue, but a simpler design.
