Question

This happened in 2020.. Australians are, currently as I type this, under house arrest via martial law. Not over the Black Death or anything.. but good ol', easily survivable Covid.

This kind of deep, horrific violation can occur almost anywhere in the world and many people I have talked to on this site are more than happy to give up their individual liberties.

I think that in order to combat this, we are going to have to very strongly not comply with these tyrannical orders. Let our world leaders know that our individual liberties are *non-negotiable.*

I have never complied with this obvious nonsense. As a result, I lost quite a few acquaintances and even some friends. It made me discover who was mind controlled and not of value. It also helped me to discover a great number of new friends and acquaintances with whom I am proud to be associated. We greet each other, gather together, dine together, hug, shake hands, talk and laugh. You know, like humans.

My wife joined a large group that works to oppose mandates and educate people on the issue. They attend city council and county board of supervisors meetings, put pressure on the local sheriff, organize speaking events, generate legal affidavits and recall petitions, and support local businesses. I also participate. We continually discover other groups of resisters. What's interesting is, people from all walks of life, political ideologies and religions are uniting as brothers and sisters to support liberty and to thwart the onslaught of totalitarianism.

My valued friends all around the world on social media are sources of amazing information and inspiration. We spread information to ever growing numbers of people.

Regardless of powerful efforts to silence opposition to the evil agenda, more people are waking up. There are many here and everywhere who not only refuse comply, but actively resist.

This has never been about covid. It's a make or break moment for humanity. Either we stop this latest onslaught now or we will be helplessly enslaved forever.

I mean, technically where I lived we had what you would refer to as "inhumane lockdowns", but I could still go for a walk in the beautiful parks, get fresh groceries delivered, get local take out easily, and connect with friends and family online.

Hell, even my karate group went online. I got to introduce my cat to everyone and we all still got in a workout.

I'm curious how you think my freedoms are being taken away. I felt very free to do what I wished during that time. Still do.

Hell, I just travelled, even. And no quarantines for me on return, either. No COVID, too.

As you can see the death rate is actually not anything special, it is within what you might call tolerance or within a fairly normal range.

The death rate from covid is much lower than the early 90s where is a higher than much of the other data rate which is potentially linked to flu.

No doubt the argument would be that had measures not been taken then death rates would be higher and that unlike flu covid is potenitally more dangerous to younger people but the fact remains that this problem does not justify these draconian actions and the resulting destruction of our economy.

I think you have to give serious thought to the idea that even if the virus was naturally occuring or geniunely an accident that the responce has been a deliberate act designed to destroy jobs and wealth in order to push a NWO agenda to permenantly create an owner class and a slave class on a global scale.

Here is something to think about. How much are you willing to sacrifice for your community? Going back to WW2, would you be willing to ration your food and water? Turn off your lights during night to deny enemy bombings? I would say no. Mostly because you have not demonstrated this solidarity and forward thinking so far. Covid19 is just one example, mostly since accepting the vaccine is the smallest inconvenience, wearing a facemask is just polite during a pandemic and holding back on socializing for a year or two is not that big of a deal (granted if you actually did it we could have beaten it in a month or so).

You have probably lived your whole life ignoring very real threats such as climate change, water crisis or mass extinctions just because it did not personally bother you. Likewise your attempt at minimizing the damages that covid has caused to humanity as a whole by calling it "easily survivable".

Covid19 has killed 4.4–9.6 million people so far and it is not slowing down anytime soon. That makes it the 7th worst pandemic in human history so far. The cost in human lives and suffering is on a scale that you can't even comprehend and here you are bitching about having to do the minimum of self sacrificing for the good of everyone on earth. Shame on you.

You can't stand up to tyrany alone because if you do when everyone else has bent a knee and bowed their heads you will be singled out as the bad guy and be legally pursued. For COVID? Certainly not.

Much hype has been made over COVID that is hugely overblown. Reverse RNA propagation studies indicate that COVID is both older and almost certainly more widespread than we originally thought. And if this is the case, then its even less lethal than we believed. And COVID is not as lethal as many believe. Pneumonia has a far greater mortality rate than COVID. However, in fairness pneumonia is not as contagious.

But I would also concede that much hype has been made about the hype. I would have to read more than one story about Australia's lockdown policies to decide. And know about these policies within the context of that society. In the United States, police already have those powers in the article you used here when pursuing suspects for whom they believe pose a danger and for which there is probable cause.

If COVID were more dangerous, then yes I would submit to those policies.

I was just contemplating something similar to this, but with the newest vaccination updates: I'm pro-vaccination, but what if the upcoming booster shot (or "shots", because I still don't know if it's going to be one dose or two doses) turns out to be a never-ending, reoccurring process, and what if it has to become more often than every 8 months? At what point does a "reasonable" person begin to pivot, if at all?
