I think there should be one standard that applies to everyone.

If I'm racist for talking like my idles, and wanting to end up in thug mansion, Tupac, Nikki, and everyone else who talks that way is too.

But they aren't. And I'm not. The people who think it's okay for one color and not for another color are racist.

Most of them have BLM signs, and will flip shit if you say all lives matter equally. 🤦🏼‍♂️

I really did some thinking and researching this one. My neighbor is black. Grew up in NYC deccades ago. He said that word to me twice then acted like he did something awful. I was confused. I asked him what the deal was, why is it suddenly not okay even for him.

He said it's because it means ignorant, and that's offensive to black people.

But it doesn't. I looked into that too. The word means "black" it pretty much every other Latin based language (and in latan)

If you think the worst most terrible insult you can call someone is the word "black"

MLK said it all the time. He was proud to be black. But he rarely used the word black.

I think, the whole thing is a scam trickled down from old racists like No Biden to keep us segragated and attack black culture.

I grew up on the streets with black hero's and mentors. Am I racist for talking like them? Wanting to be like them? Bullshit. People who say that don't know the definition of either word.

You aren't racist for saying black. Black people say "fuck that _____" all the time, about black people, white people, Asian people... It barely even means black anymore. It just means "person"

It can mean anything from my best and closest friend to my worse enemy. My black co-workers asked why I DIDN'T say it, said it was weird and made them feel like I was trying to be better than them or something.

I said I just didn't want to get fired. They said the boss didn't care, they did it. So I did too. Literally the opposite of racism. I want people to know I see us as one team.

I think, the real racists are the ones who've taken it from a common word that didn't have any evil implications to convincing black people that "_____ pride" is a bad thing and white people who talk like they do are evil.

The word means black. If you think it's an insult, you are the racist. I thought the whole point of the civil rights movement was that black wasn't a bad thing. It didn't mean people were less.

Now people take the word MKL called himself and say it's an insult? That's bullshit man. It doesn't mean ignorant. MLK didn't fight for ignorant Americans. He fought for people. Just the same as anyone else.

BLM hates whites. They aren't fighting for peace and equality. I don't really take their opinions seriously.

But shit, I don't like to offend people. So I don't say it anymore. I just think it's sad that people don't know their own history and forgot that we grew up together listening to Tupac. 😕

I personally won't use it I do not allow my children to use it and it sounds rather uneducated in my opinion. I live in an area where I hear people referring to each others as that quite a bit. I think it's a shame to hear young children call each others that. But I'm not their mother if their mother approves of it well then that's their choice that's what's acceptable in their culture. I think the best thing to do is to refrain from using the word in public with strangers. if you're within a group of close individuals who are speaking to themselves and your friendly with each others and the group finds it is acceptable to use amongst themselves then fine. That's their private conversation it's no one's business however I do not believe it would be wise to use openly in public when addressing individuals who are strangers. And this may cause issues to other people's sensitivity.
The way I see it I wouldn't want to be called a Spic a Gringa or a new York Rican... I would take offense so I'm personally going to avoid the use of the n word I don't even feel comfortable writing it... Because I acknowledge the hate the discrimination and the many lives lost that has often been associated with that word.

I will stop using the word when black people stop using it to refer to themselves and each other.
While blacks use it, there is no validity in any argument that there is something offensive about the word.
Also, if you take a few minutes to investigate the history of the word you will find that its origins are French and that it was the part of Africa from which most of the slaves came.
It was not a slur.
It was the same as calling someone an American, French, or whatever.

I am not American, and I know the so called ''N'' word is mostly an American issue. So, from my short experience in the United States, it is completely unnecessary for white people to use the ''N-word'', because as far as I know it was an offensive word used by white oppressors during many centuries. If a person claims to be anti-racist but keeps using the ''N-word'' without being black, that doesn't make any sense to me.
