Alright before anyone attack me with this question I wonder how is your guys views on masculinity and femininity. Me personally I tend to prefer to do a lot of manly man tasks but I wouldn't really consider myself full blown masculine because I do have some hobbies and passions that most people would consider as feminine but I don't care. But I wonder about you gentlemen or ladies out there, how do you guys and girls live your life? Are you guys and girls the traditional feminine women and masculine men or you don't believe in the concept of assign gender activities and careers?

Masculinity- Assertive, Commanding, Independent! Being a man, you don't cry, have to be the one who is the breadwinner and make money for the family. Must always be ready in case of danger.

Femininity- Beauty, Caring, Dependable! Being a woman you must be able to relie on a man to take care of you. Must be an excellent cook, and have to become a housewife and a mother.


I wonder how do you guys view the gender roles, do you guys live with them and approve of them or you guys completely hate stereotypical gender roles?

I think there's or to fit both family types and people should just allow them to live in peace. Not every is an alpha, not everyone is a beta. Some will be happier to dominate and the other to submit.

I am a very traditional person and I easily accept traditional gender roles, but people with higher IQs have never fit those molds as well. There are things that I do which are typically considered to be masculine, such as working on my car, doing electrical, plumbing, and painting at home, and following college football, but I also enjoy cooking and I am a bit particular about decorating my home.

Huh I didn't know painting a house were considered masculine, I should probably see more and finding out what people considered a masculine activity or job for men. Others than sports I honestly suck at them

I have seen very few women get involved in painting and never seen any woman do plumbing or electrical repairs or renovations. I'm sure there are a few women scattered around who do such things, but it is rare.

I can understand women doing painting and not not doing plumbing or electric repairs. Usually painting is something really creative that most women to tend to enjoy doing, while fixing electric or plumbing is in general more manual labor tasks that most women were either excluded from or simply doesn't have any interest in. I am a guy and even I don't have any interest in plumbing or electric repairs, I know I probably have to do it but it's nothing worth talking about. But painting 🖌️ on the other hand is extremely beautiful and fun to let your creative floor, and being able to express yourself.

I wouldn't consider myself traditionally masculine, during my marriage I did most of the things that traditionally would be considered a female role, as in cooking cleaning, laundry, mainly because my wife was shit at all that, and barely knew where the kitchen was. I don't have any issue with taking on any task that would be considered feminine. My wife went out to work just as I did and earnt money the same as I did, I wouldn't have chosen a stay at home wife, but at the same time would have stopped her if that is what she truly wanted to do.
