For decades,... Clark has been chasing after Lois. For decades, Clark & Lois have been an item.
I know this is off topic but just stay with me on this for I am making a point.
Ian Flemings creation of James Bond 007 has always been a Caucasian male. There had been some rumors that whoever is writing & producing the next James Bond film wants to either have a female 007. A female Bond I'm guessing,.. or an African American James Bond.
If James Bond has always been a Caucasian male for many decades, ever since Ian Fleming created him to be that way,... then why the hell do these film companies want to make changes to the character now? That literally makes no sense at all!
Same thing with Clark Kent, Superman. If Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster have created Superman to be exactly on how he is,... as in a heterosexual, superpowered, human-male appearing, Kryptonian who has special feelings & who is mainly & only in-love with an Earthly woman that is Lois Lane, (that should only imply he's attracted to women) after all these decades,... why does DC want to change that part of him now? The guy is perfect the way he is. To change his sexual status literally makes no sense.
@Ez-Bri-Z... thank you very much for clarifying that up for me. I've been out of the loop. No I didn't know about that.
Well that does change everything around. What do we know about Jon Kent? Does the online information reveal much about his sexuality besides assuming he has powers and so on?
@Ez-Bri-Z Well considering I know nothing of the character besides his name,... I was just wondering if the online information mentions anything about him besides his sexual status.
It's okay, I already read a little bit about the character. The recent news about his sexual status is news to me.
Let me give you a break down of Jon Kent. He is chronologically 10 years old... He is physically 17 years old...
During the current time line he was born 10 years ago, however, he was kidnapped and held in an interdimensional location for 3 weeks in the current time line. However, in that interdimensional location, time flowed differently, so while only 3 weeks passed in the current timeline, 7 years passed in the interdimensional location. So when he returned after 3 weeks he went from 10 to 17. So there is pretty much no history to his sexuality. He didn't really have a sexuality when he was kidnapped, and he spent 7 years being tortured in an interdimensional prison. The character is an open book. If you were going to make a character LGBT, this is the perfect one to use.
All the people talking shit and bitching are typically people like you that don't know anything about the comics.
Superman a faggot now? Good for him I guess.
Confusion can be cleared up when their body responds to the female or male body. As for bad role models... to say that is judging all without knowing the individuals. We cannot say they are all bad people just cause 1 might be. I mean if Jeff Bezos was gay would he not still be an amazing person to learn things from and look up to? Cannot a male have a female role model and vice versa?
I hear many people scared for their children but I'd rather see stats on the matter before I hate other people for reason.
I understand there are many sexual and gender identities in real life, but it’s always been over the top ridiculous to force that onto a fictional character. No need to make everything political. I mean, it takes away from the real story and character development.

I think this makes a horrible role model for children and causes confusion where there should be none.

@GaGirls You think that Jeff Bezos is amazing and you look up to him? In God's name why? He ruthlessly exploits his workers.
@GaGirls The question is not about gender but about sexual orientation.
@Rachelspiks That's just capitalism, he got to where he is because he made smart decisions. His workers work for him because they deserve to.
@Pillarofhell He's a crook who does all he can to avoid paying tax. That's how he became so rich.
@Rachelspiks That's captialism. Captialism is freedom for people with money even freedom from taxes. And conformism and slavery for the poor. What's your alternative I'd like to hear it.
Capitalism* jeez
@Pillarofhell If that's capitalism we'd all be better off without it. However, it isn't, and as for the alternative (communism), that's even worse.
@Rachelspiks Well yes it is. Because the fundamental belief of capitalism is that people are not obligated to care about anyone other than themselves. The ones who can make the smartest decisions in that system, usually psychopaths, get richest. How is communism worse?
@Pillarofhell If communism is better, why have so many people risked their lives, and so many died, trying to escape communist countries? People don't die trying to escape the US or UK.
I'm asking for reasons not enlightenment
I welcome other sexualities or diversities in the comics but the constant change to source material instead of introducing other characters or acknowledging others that are diverse in comics is a bit unusual. Take DC, For Lucifer and Constantine, from the beginning, both characters are bi sexual, Bat girl is bisexual or Gay, etc.
It’s fine to me because I’m not really effected but when we just switch it up to pander to a group instead of thinking of new characters and giving it a more authentic backstory and interesting story seems like lazy writing to me
I think it's rather an insult to bisexuals- a way of saying "It's important to us that there are bi people in our comics, but not so much that we're willing to write a new one". Of course, most of them CAN'T write a decent bisexual character, but that's because they're lousy writers, not that you can't have good bi characters.
A tip for assessing your skills as a writer: examine whether you think a character's demographic characteristics are the core of their personality. If you answered "Yes", then find another job. Sexuality isn't character.
I'm more surprised by how strong a reaction it's getting. I honestly don't understand why it matters. I'm straight, this character isn't for me, and that's totally fine. Not everything is made for me. I recognize and accept this. But there are other people in the world who this will mean a whole lot to. I'm glad they get to have it. It takes nothing away from me at all. But then there are people who are freaking out over it, like the world revolves around them and if it wasn't made for them specifically then it shouldn't exist. I just don't understand that mentality.
I don't care if a character is bisexual, I don't care if a character is gay or trans. But to take a character with the long established history like Superman and now all the sudden say oh he's bisexual, it just seems forced and inappropriate. Wouldn't it make more sense to create a new character that was bisexual? Hell why not have a new character be introduced in the Superman comics that was bisexual. I'm all for diversity, but not every single established character needs to be LGBT, and this is coming from a guy who's bisexual himself.
I still stand by my statement, like many other things this screams "look at me, look at me!" To make matters even more head scratching, the man he's interested in screams modern stereotypical LGBT character. This just screams once again let's try and create diversity without really trying. It's a cash grab move to grab attention instead of telling a compelling, well written story.
I have and it just wasn't for me.
Don't get me wrong I've been a big DC fan for a long time, and in fact Superman is one of my favorite characters. But the recent content just hasn't been for me, and I personally don't care for it. If you like it, that's cool but me personally, I'm not a fan
No no, it's fine if you don't like it. Personally I'm more of a fan of the superman in the Injustice series.
I just want to make sure that a comment about the story being shoehorned in with a poor story just to make headlines should, you know, come under the premise of actually having read the story lol
Lol I totally get it, after all stuff like this tends to draw out the nut jobs who don't actually take the time to read the stories and just react out of context.
by the way, I love Injustice and it's depiction of Superman, incredibly wicked, but relatable and incredibly compelling.
Yeah not a problem, it’s about time gay and bisexual boys had decent role models, rather than the need to be a big strong heterosexual guy to succeed.
Society has made it really hard for any teen (especially boys) to have role models that share their sexuality. English league (top ones) have no opening gay or bisexual players. The same holds true in most major sports, I think American football has the odd one that has come out.
Well then, invent NEW role models! Why take an old one like 'Superman' and do this to it? Since those behind this change obviously lack the talent and creativity to create an new character from the ground up, I'll do it for them.
Meet 'PegMan'! Able to hold in place in place objects more than ten times his mass, can withstand any kind of weather, even the roughest, and hangs with all his buddies (especially the blue ones, because he's "gay").

And yet the US comic book industry will still be scratching its head in confusion when no less than ten manga series from Japan will independently outsell the entirety of US comics, again. You can't expect success from revising a character older than most people alive today with niche tropes aimed at a tiny niche group of people who by and large don't even read comics.
I have never been a fan of the character in general. So All I can do is shrug my shoulders. About the only Superman comic I ever owned and read was Death of Superman. DC should screw with everyone. Make Superman and Doomsday a couple. I'd buy that for a dollar!
Just what we need... a super-strong 'alpha' capable of copulating anyone / thing that moves!
"With great power, comes great responsibility"... but WHOM is capable
of IMPOSING 'restraint' on such a being?
Gonna develop kryptonite-based spray mace & ammunition?
"WHOA! ... big fella!" #Me Too
Look it’s okay that they do this. Who am I to tell a company not to entertain how they want? Mind you I won’t be a part of it and fuck DC anyway.
But let’s be frank… men dating men is probably the closest men can get to happiness these days -.- you women ain’t up to the task. Ide never date a man but a kick ass roomie that fishes would make most men happy lmao let’s go back to the bachelor days guys where 2-3 men share a huge house and do what they want.
P. S. No homo.
I mean.. does that even count? Superman is not human, as in he is supposed to be an extraterrestrial alien. If we take someone attracted to some alien species its not like I am sitting here wondering if its a "female" alien or a "male" alien or even if our human concept of gender makes ANY sense for them.
This isn't the real superman.
This is his son, who grew up to be the new superman.
The original superman is straight his son is bisexual.
Since this is their company and characters they have all the right in the world to reach out to another audience by giving them a gay superhero to relate to.
It's called marketing strategy, how do we reach a new audience?
Give them a gay superhero to relate to.
Lucky Superman. Makes sense if you think about it, if anyone was at risk of a "he was too powerful to say no to!" Metoo claim it would be him and Lowis is definitely the ladder clambering nut job to do it...
I think the last guy to play superman evern said he doesn't date because of the metoo risk.
It’s very clear you’re angry about the metoo movement making it harder for you to sexually assault women. This was such a stupid comment 🤣🤣 so triggered. Thank goodness for the Metoo movement. Thank goodness.
This LGBTQ agenda is really being pushed hard on young people.
So as heterosexual agenda lol
I think they try to open what it look like on the other side, to open the world to the term of its okay to love whoever you want cuz these past decade there aren't a lot of lgbtq+ charactor representing in like comic book so thats mean its a really good move for them to do that, to be more diverse.
@coolguyaesthetic. You proved my point.
we prove eachother point lollllllll 😂😂😂😂
@coolguyaesthetic. Be happy with your little boyfriend. I'm okay with that. I have no problem with LGB or even people who genuinely suffer from gender dysphoria. I have LGBT friends. But I'm not okay with indoctrinating and confusing impressionable young kids.
I'm not okay with men who say they are women being given access to women's only facilities or competing in women's athletics.
LGBT people are not the problem, the radical social engineering agenda is. And I suspect that it succeeded with you.
@Lliam oh lord... we don't indoctrinate people anymore than straight people indoctrinate people.
You didn't just wake up and one day and decide to be straight. I didn't wake up one day and said "yeah, guys are great, but have you seen tits though?" It's just how we are born. The only "indoctrination" that's going on is showing people that's its not ok to hate us
@Ez-Bri-Z Preach!
Then why is there a sudden epidemic of middle school kids, especially girls, suddenly thinking they are trans, even though they never showed any indication while growing up? Maybe you haven't even heard about that. That's not genetic, it's brainwashing.
It even cracks me up that you would say people are indoctrinated into be straight, as if heterosexual is abnormal.
Because maybe they were hiding it? I didn't come out being a lesbian to my parents right away either. I was scared and tried to force it to not be true for a while.
Lgbt isn't indoctrinating kids, we are just showing them they aren't alone anymore. Too many of us grew up without internet or social media to show us that we weren't the only person in the world who felt the same way. Now everyone can see that all colors of the rainbow exist and they don't have to feel ashamed or hide anymore. We are here to shield them from those would say hateful things and shun these children from society just for not feeling comfortable in their own skin.
Heterosexual IS abnormal. It was far more common to be bisexual until conservative religions came through and dominated the world. They made everyone afraid of their own bodies and desires. Not saying everyone was bi but it certainly was a hell of a lot more accepted originally.
Furthermore, if you wanna test if this is possible, go ahead and go start transitioning. It's just a fad right? All the indoctrination out there brainwashing people, right?
Though if that is the case, why aren't there more detransitioners? I mean we don't keep the same clothing trends each decade or even year to year so why would this hold on?
I'm gonna guess you don't transition because you know it isn't right for you just like the ones who do end up transitioning do it because it is right for them. Im also going to guess you are given to dramatic over representation of the truth which is there isn't a mass influx of kids transitioning, but instead you have access to more social media and internet than when growing up. That on these platforms people who were previously forced into hiding now have a voice and you can't hide from it, plug your ears and shut your eyes, hoping it will just go away.
No I'm sure you will continue to blame others because the world around you has passed you by and no longer makes sense. I am betting you will refuse to further your understanding of how this world actually works and the people within it. That's your prerogative, but don't lay your confusion of the world at our feet and ask us to fix it for you.
@Ez-Bri-Z. That's the craziest Q shit I've ever heard. You make a lot of assumptions. Why am I not surprised by an ad hominem attack from a radical "woke" activist?
Here's a little food for thought, not that I expect you to think beyond ideology.
www.tandfonline.com/.../00332925.2017.1350804
Alright let's break this down, shall we?
This is speculative at best. Are there signs that some may follow trends? Maybe, but I'd love to see what her numbers are that are back up with actual studies of detransitioners. All studies kind of show that the numbers of detransitioners are less than 5%. She further goes on to mention that the number of natal females have increased over natal males which seems to imply following trends. She does mention that this could be used as an alternate to natal females dealing with being uncomfortable with their bodies. She seems to gloss over that maybe this isn't a trend of social media influencing decisions as much as making the visibility of others who have gone through their own transitions a comfort to someone who was already questioning.
She seems bent on approaching this as more of a pandemic instead of digging into actual backgrounds. This 85-90 percent of cross sex characteristics isn't well described either. That could be something like a natal male playing with a doll, which is so outdated as a marker of gender roles.
It's okay that they're doing this. But it's still dumb. It just feels like pandering.
Personally, just create an original character that's bi.
Batman is cool, and I wouldn't mind him coming out as anything. But I've always fucking hated superman, even when he was in the closet. So it's bad, cus now I wanna keep hating him without being titled homophobic.
lgbt has gotten to the point to where you can't even give a legitimate reason for why it's toxic. So all of our greatest minds who could very well convince millions of people for why this shit needs to be illegal, are forced to shut up or give braindead responses like "Oh it's their company, it's marketing. And besides, sexuality is 100% biologically determined and not influenced by society"
It's usually the last attempt at sales, when you have to blatantly use sex to sell.
DC will probably be closing in a few years as it just isn't as good anymore.
I think editing existing characters to push your ideology is lazy writing. There is nothing wrong with creating a bisexual super hero. But they should put in the effort to create a new super hero. Not hijack an old existing character.
The world? Nope, just the media in America is run by homosexuals. The weak minded mentally ill will follow since they are easily influenced.
can't believe they're doing this. this is horrible. but whatever. is this real or is it something that may happen or just a rumor?
This is getting really annoying. Every character now has to be gay. What a gigantic bullshit.
And he won't be bi. He'll be gay. He'll just date guys because that's what they mean by "bi"
I don't care, as long as it isn't political or used as a way to push any agenda.
As long as it's done as a way to push the character forward, then I actually like it. I just don't like it whenever it's used as some sort of political game.
And then Marvel and DC wonder why one manga is kicking their asses combined in sales by an order of magnitude.
I think it's definitely an interesting and new arc for superman
There's a type of kryptonite that made him gay, decades ago.
I don't care about comic-book characters, but I have to wonder why the people who push this garbage don't just come up with their own fictional characters, instead of rewriting old ones. Don't they have any talent or imagination?
It's fine. What I find sad is when people have to post about this stuff like it's bad when it's not
@jasco its cause when you find out you bisexual, its not easy as finding out straight cuz when you born mostly people around you will push the heterosexual agenda to you, like for example, Baby was born, the people around them tell the baby that they are straight so they growing up believe they are straight. The baby growing up knowing that because people kinda put their mind what they think its right to the baby mind so the baby kinda lose the chance to grow and to experiment with different people to find out their truth sexuality and for this spiderman's case its the same as that. You can see that he kinda attracted to girls in past comic and now he kinda find himself attract to other gender so its much more than that and I know its going to teach people and children a lot of things.
Yea ok so what your saying is LGBTQ is trying to say that it’s ok to be bi by using someone else’s work? However at the same time they’re trying to send a positive message which is good yes I understand that. But if they wanted to do that would it not be better to I don't know maybe make a Superman that breaks up with Lewis and than goes after a dude therefore it’s entirely different story but still follows the original thing instead of just putting him as bi randomly
When they first came out many comic boobs--including Superman--were pushing pretty hard to "normalize" orphans. So I guess they're just moving on to the next frontier of disaffected people.
Comic boobs lol
15 years ago I wouldn't have cared, but now it's obviously a part of the DIE ideology infecting everything. Get it out of here. You can have gay superman when you're done being psychos about pushing this shit so hard.
I mean no comments
I watch what i wanna watch
If i feel like no this is not something i want my kids to be thinking about now then i just want watch simple as that
Won’t
yes the jews are trying to promote lgbt for whatever crazy reasons they have. watch brother nathanel on bitchute as he elaborates more on this topic.
I honestly don't really care while yes it does scream pandering but I gotten used to it now.
It's not even real superman. It's his son. I don't care. They rehash comics all the time.
Not surprised. And people claim there isn't a gay agenda going on. Next... Bugs Bunny is bisexual..
Parents are seriously going have to start protecting their kids more than ever.
I don’t mind it. They can do whatever they want with the character
They’re being lazy they can just make a new gay (because there is no such thing as a bisexual male) superhero
a bunch (f) aggots are trying to infiltrate and control manly culture
I don't care if Superman comes out as bisexual. All I care about is well developed & well-written story for the new DC comics.
As long as they dont fuck with Iron man. he's my favorite. Superman is a fag.
No, it's not ok, I'm tired of all this LGBT propaganda everywhere.
i agree
haha
I don’t have a problem with it but I think it’s stupid that every character now is no or gay
Running Dc Comics into the ground I see. So did he leave Lois Lane for a man? Assholes aren't built for the Man of Steel.
@Ez-Bri-Z Still, what type of anus can take a pounding from a person who has Superman's Genes? Pussies are built for more durability.
Next Batman is going to come out as Trans.
As far as superman is concerned. That's like saying gaseous oxygen can take more of a pounding than gaseous nitrogen. He can lift planets, move faster than light and fly through granite like it doesn't exist. Any sort of pounding from superman would leave a fine mist where there was once a human.
Actually not even a fine mist. The heat from the sudden compression of matter would probably incinerate the person and level the building. Perhaps even cause a sudden nuclear reaction. As their atoms slam into each other at the speed of light. Even without his strength the speed of one thrust would likely impart multiple megatons of energy.
@horatiohornblower lol I love the analysis on this, but unfortunately, it doesn't fit their homophobic narrative. We just have to accept that our vaginas are stronger than superman. *shrug*
How are they pushing anything 😂 all they are doing is making a character bisexual it’s no big deal
It won't work. Most men are heterosexual whereas most females are bisexual
Most females are not bisexual. Stop projecting your fantasies onto others.
@Kante872 One person's opinion is all that is.
He is already married to a girl tho...
Depends on how they do it.
I don't bother i am not going to watch it anyways
Guess Lois is just a whore then?
Very bad and world is going mad.
What! Gay people exist?
Everything woke turns to shit.
Will his butt whistle when he flies?
@Ez-Bri-Z It's a Jeff Dunham joke. 😆
I have no issues with this.
DC fans... where r u 👀
Siegel and Shuster are turning in their graves.
there's a culture change in America
I think you’re messing up the Superman concept
