Doing that is basically beating someone up who does not believe the same as you.

which means what goes around comes around.

You felt great beating someone up, however then someone else comes along and does same to you but worse.

It’s why the disrespect is there in first place, what was said, the limit.

Sometimes. You can often check people on their behavior and shut them up but there are just some people in this world who continue to disrespect you and it takes bloodying them up a little bit to teach them manners. Sometimes you do what you have to do.
