Whats your opinion on hitler?

Actually, I didn't vote good or bad, but generally I agree "bad", I mean, he orchestrated the murder of millions.
But on the other hand, I didn't know Hitler personally, and I do think that history is "written by the winners", so I would consider that at the very least, he was just another human like all the other billions of humans on this planet, and his path led him to a place where he was the figurehead for "evil". But who he actually was, what he was like, if he had any kindness in his heart or good aspects? I'm guessing some.
I know some racist people, white pride KKK types, and racists of other cultures as well. I know some real ornery folks, ones who get in fights, and I've know liars, thieves, etc. And for the most part, they were just people and the shitty parts and things about them were mostly because they were in pain or had some broken bits about them, I didn't envy them at all. I think stealing from someone kind of kills a part of your soul, for example, it destroys a piece of your self-esteem and/or your connection to other human beings.
Anyway, I guess what I'm saying is Hitler was responsible for a bunch of F'd up stuff, but I can still imagine having some compassion for the flip side of the story. Not because I'm a racist who thinks it's great he instigated the murder of blacks, Jews, etc.
I’m Jewish, so….
He had multiple personalities. We all saw the bad ones but there must have been a good one in there someplace deep down inside said no one ever.
But he was an artist, loved animals, and actually treated women with more respect than many men at the time, did. He did horrific things yes, but as the saying goes "All men [and women] are capable of being the brightest angels or the darkest devils."
Honestly speaking, I consider modern Progressives to be worse than Hitler. At least he just wanted to kill innocent people. Progressives want to cancel you until you take your own life; then they'll laugh about it on Twitter like they did to Alec Holowska and August Ames.
@MCheetah He treated women with respect as they were shot in the back of the head, put in gas chambers, and raped and tortured? Your idea of respect and treatment of women is kind of skewed.
He’s Fascist Scum that genocide tones of innocent people and brainwashed the German population

Well, his painting wasn't bad- some technical problems, like the kind that a proper art education would've fixed. And I DO appreciate his attempts to mock the excesses of the Prussian aristocracy through facial hair- it's not a trend he started or anything, but he DID participate in it (that was the purpose of his admittedly stupid mustache). His rise from poverty and obscurity to a position of total political power is kind of impressive. And he IS the guy who killed Hitler, so points for that.
Beyond that, he was pretty much irredeemable. But you have to wonder how much of that is the fault of poor circumstances; whose name would we be cursing if he'd gotten in to art school?
Historically he was a brilliant politician and brought a country out of a depression into the greatest economic recovery of the 20th century.
Then he went all hitler-ish and started massacring the jewish and that whole world domination thing wasn't exactly a winning ideal.
All kidding aside, he was a brilliant speaker and he inspired people, and he was also a murderer, genocidal maniac, and quite possibly the most evil and insane person the people ever allowed to rise to power.
He was good for Germany, bad for his enemies. He actually had a lot of good policies, and had it not been for the Holocaust, he probably would have gone down in history as a great leader.
He had some good ideas, but they were poorly executed. No pun intended.
Killing millions of innocents is good for a country, what’s wrong with you?
@SmokinAces2000 Germany was the only Western country that was prospering during the depression. The statistics don't lie! The only thing wrong with me is that I look at the facts. The fuck's wrong with YOU, Liberal?
So you support genocide?
He was not a nice person yeah, but he's supremely over-vilified. There are at least 10 more ruthless people in history than him, including Queen Victoria, Genghis Khan, Alexander the Great, Vladimir Lenin, and who could forget Mao?
He didn't come from a wealthy family. Yet rose through the ranks from pure determination of making his country great again after the depression and first world war debt.
He was actually Austrian born, not German.
But like much in history, people aren't really interested.
Very charismatic person that was able to sway an entire countries perception of a group of people
Note charismatic doesn't mean "not bad/evil"
He is a reminder of what someone with a warped ideology can do if given the power
He was the worlds most famous example of a smart-psychopath.
He's totally over-discussed. He's dead.
In his own time he was... unpleasant.
But we now have others who are (almost?) as bad as him. They live.
It's hard to be upset at the things he did when every Jew I've ever met was the textbook ironic definition of a "charmer."
He was great with economics. He was great at promoting pride in your country. He was also a war monger and bully.
A murderous totalitarian.
Just like every other socialist really.
I never knew he had gauged ears! ;- )
500 pounds of crap in a 170 pound can!
I think he is handsome and charismatic. I love alpha males.
You have to stop over-breathing through that big nose.
He was also a murderous psychopath with a small dick
The best thing I can say for Hitler is that he forced most of the world to unite against him.
Good boy for his nation
Bad boy for all other nations.
A fucking Nazi. He was far from a good person.
Bad. Hitler was an evil man
Nutsy Nazi.
hahaha
What kind of question is this?
Not a nice guy
I'm not surprised if someone said good. There are still people in the world who admire him. Also, I think whoever said it was joking. It's GaG. I come here once every other day, search for words like "penis" and "boobs", and more often than not I reply what I think is the funniest, not what I think is most helpful or true. It's not the place but serious questions.
He should have stopped at the Sudetenland.
Pure evil
