Which would you choose: money or power, and why?

Money IS power, but power isn't necessarily money. You can use money to better your life, and improve your standing. Even improve your "power." On the other hand, power without money, is just what, intimidation? What does power without money even mean, are you a low level street thug?

I suppose there are other forms of power too, and you might be able to consider someone with an extraordinary level of charisma to be powerful, in that you can make people do things they might not otherwise have done, specifically because of your personality, and how you manipulate their opinion of you. Regardless, I choose money. Money is a better starting point, I think.

I chose money. I don't ever find myself thinking "Jeez, I wish I had a little more power, then I could _____", but I do think to myself what I could do with more money.

Reasons I didn't choose power:
1. Makes you a target. Maybe money does too, but it doesn't have to, as you can hide that you are rich. You could have some hidden power as well I suppose, but most powerful people are known and the more power you have, the more people know about you, especially if you have power over them. And who knows, they might be resentful of that?

2. Too much responsibility. To have power over others and make decisions affecting them means you hopefully have some wisdom, kindness, etc. Good qualities to make good choices that benefit others. I think I'm kind and wise to some extent, but I also think I could really make some bad mistakes accidentally so I don't want that responsibility as I would really worry about the people I have power over and making sure they were benefiting from my power. In fact, I feel like it would sort of make me their slave in a sense, because I would be so focused on them, I wouldn't have time/resources to enjoy the benefits of my power for myself.

3. Things I want to do don't involve having power over others.

(PS I'm not really sure what it means to "have power" but I am assuming it means to have power over others. If you mean like the power to shapeshift or fly or something like a super power then my answer might change, since that would be really cool.)

Money is just more flexible and many, many things can be done with money. Power is going to be more specific and can vary widely in its form and application.

If I had to choose between them then I want money so I could make another home for myself and pursue my dreams as a song writer and singer without the objections of my mom. I will buy all the gadgets necessary and even try meeting dj people so they could help me add the beat.

Option C: Love. Money is important to the extent that I can pay my bills and occasionally do the things I want to do, but I don't need to be filthy rich. And as far as power goes, the power to do what? Not really that interested in being this huge powerful force. I just want to live a happy and peaceful life.
