Hahahaha! Oh you poor dear! Don't you realize that the definitions of all kinds of words are "fluid?" Clearly you haven't been keeping up with the latest and greatest definition of "racist." I'll be YOU think racist means something like "judging someone by the color of their skin instead of by the content of their character." LOL! You're SO confused! In fact, believing THAT makes YOU a racist!
So what's the new definition of "racist" you ask? Why it's really quite simple. Anything that's opposed to the Democrat party having complete control over government and your life is racist. Because voter ID laws make it harder for Democrats to cheat in elections, they are racist. Note that this ONLY applies to swing states. Places like New York which have stricter voting requirements than swing states like Georgia aren't racist because the Dems will still win them. So no problems there. But if you support ANY quality control in Georgia--THAT my friend is fucking RACIST!
So that brings us to needing ID to leave your house to say, get a Big Mac and some fries and McD's. Racist or not racist? But wait--you say--isn't it the case that blacks and other persons of color are less likely to be vaccinated than whites? And isn't it ALSO the case they they're less likely to have "access" to IDs? So doesn't that mean that this policy will disproportionately impact people of swarthier races? And isn't THAT racist?
Almost, my friend--almost. But no where in there does a black person getting a Big Mac at McD's do ANYTHING to help the Dems control the government and your life. So they don't give a shit. And therefore it' can't be racist.
So you see, if you understand the ACTUAL definition of "racist" in the year 2022 you'll see that it IS indeed totally, completely, unequivocally racist to require IDs to vote but in no way shape or form is it in ANY way racist to require the same people to have the same IDs and more documentation to leave their house.

I wonder which party would oppose the following solution:
Every eligible voter would be provided with a voter photo ID, as is done in almost every other Western country. This would be paid for by the government, so there would be no excuses. Anyone without the ID would be in violation of the law.
Voting would take place on election day. ID would be verified and handing in of one and only one ballot would be documented. If unable to go to the polls, an election official would come to you and record the process on tape. Physical copies of ballots would be stored until after the outcome is known and unchallenged. Ballot harvesting, mail-in ballots, etc., would be illegal.
It’s not too expensive. We burned $2 trillion in Afghanistan to protect it’s opium trade (record crop the last year we occupied the country). If we can afford that, we can afford this. We all know which party would oppose this. That is very telling.
Needing ID is not racist, My former political party is spreading negative ideas expecting citizens to be stupid and believe the lies. It's embarassing. The election ballot is sacred and I want MY vote to count so I want to show ID and make a more secure ballot as well as stop non-citizens from voting... Why would anyone think it's a good idea to have anyone be able to vote without ID? What if a country that hates us dropped off millions of people in the weeks leading up to election day to cast unsecure ballots?
So you can vote without id where you live? Whaaat? Then every random person at any age from other countries can vote too. I mean what if many people go to america to vote to influence the politics and go back to their home after voting. So i can vote too? Lol. Nowhere in Europe you can do that. Why is that allowed in a western country like america?

Yawn. . .
South Dakota passed a voter id law that claimed you could only use an ID that had street addresses on it.
They did that because they wanted to disqualify American Indians from voting. Because everyone knows on a reservation, there are no street names or numbers. So the ids do not reflect that.
That's racist.
In other states, they claim you must have an id to vote. But then restrict the hours for the facilities that are responsible for giving out those ids. Or they limit the number of facilities for certain jurisdictions that do not vote the way they wish.
When you try to limit the ability of people to vote, it is a well-established fact that you simply do not like the way they vote.
It is not just racist. . . it is not even trying to have a representative democracy. Why would you even want to be in a nation, where the minority rules? Even if you agreed with their politics? You need to check your head in on straight.
Voter ID and proof of ID are not the same thing.
Voter ID's need to be of certain government issue, and not all people, not only from minorities, have these. By demanding only those with these ID's can vote - deprives many of their right to vote. In more civilised countries it is enough to prove you are a citizen on the electoral register, to vote.
As for "proof of ID" it can be anything from a university student card to a work ID. It only needs to verify your name. You don't need an ID to leave your house.
And the reason it is racist is because no one cared about voter ID until a study came out that showed people of color were 39% less likely to have ID. If ID was free and issued at the ballot box, no one would have a problem with it, but when you suggest that to the far right they curl up into a ball and cry until you go away and stop hitting them with reason. If they'd spent 25% of the money they spend fighting voter ID laws, these miniscule number of people that struggle to get ID would already have them.
As usual, you're being misleading about the requirements. It's nothing to do with leaving your house, they're only for going into restaurants, bars, gyms, and such. Not:
Retail outlets, churches, hotels, homeless shelters, markets, health care facilities and pharmacies, law enforcement and government offices like the DMV, etc. They'll tell you this stuff with a straight face too. I guess all those people out there who are too poor to get IDs will still have the right to vote, they just can't leave their homes to do so.
Need mind an ID isn’t racist but the lack of support and resources for getting the ID card is. You’re looking in the wrong direction and using nonsense for gas lighting the victims. I suspect you’re just trolling from asking the question and not asking the question to sincerely know what’s going on and wanting to listen to others to understand and just want to listen to argue.
Prove me wrong. It's racist in the same way that the Beatles were Communist, i. e., not at all, but that doesn't matter, because the label has been taken by a political group and used as a scarlet letter to tarnish anyone or anything they object to.
Needing an ID to leave your house is simple "Ihre Ausweis, Bitte" population control. One foot on the ice, one foot on the banana peel, and no clue that anything's about to go wrong...It isn't. That's an idiotic talking point invented by the swamp creatures for reasons that subvert the fact the overwhelming majority of the country left, right and center of every race and creed supports the idea.
The seemingly obvious reason is because there are incumbent politicians who know they'd be screwed without their illegal votes...It's racist if it's difficult for people who don't drive to obtain an ID. Who doesn't have a driver's license? City dwellers, particularly less wealthy city dwellers, who are disproportionately people of color. That's why it's racist. These ID laws always exclude IDs that non-drivers are likely to have, like student IDs.
It is racist of airlines to ask for my ID , it is racist for them to not let me get a driver's license without an ID , and when I buy a gun how racist of them to ask for ID's. Voting should be fun and anyone should vote whether they are Americans or not. Right?
It's more about the availability, and cost. If things like drivers licenses or ID cards were free seemless to get (going through the dmv can be extremely difficult in lower income areas) I'd agree.
It's seen as racist based upon the demographics is affects. If the voter Id law had provisions to give all eligible voters said Id, sure. But if they're Rolling out ids, and during an election a bunch of these id's were "misplaced" it seems unfair.
The idea if voter IDs is not racist, the way the GOP wants to implement is suspicious. It’s simple honestly. Having a vaccine card is supported by the Left so it is considered good on the news.
Requiring an ID for voting even though an ID is needed for most everything else, is considered Racist by the Left because they don’t support it. Simple really.needing an id to vote is not racist. it ensures that only actual citizens of the country vote and not some random tourists or illegal immigrants from any country. it's also supposed to prevent that people can vote multiple times by going to different districts.
It's not racist.
I was listening to a radio talk show host who live in NYC.
He had to show his Covid passport to walk into a cigar bar.
Now think about that a second.
You need to prove your vaccinated and "safe" in order to get into a smoked filled enclosed area.
Makes sense to me.It isn't but the left will do anything to be in control. However what is racist is requiring an address from natives I believe that as long as the have proof that they're native plus photo id they should be good to vote.
Well they both are because of lack of access to them which primarily affects people of color and people in rural areas.
Its not. The Dems are just using something they created and are guilty of themselves (racism) to try to benefit their own political agenda. It won't work. It isn't working because their party is dying.
How can you vote without an ID? Every person here is like assigned a number, you show ID and then they cross it off write it on your ballot then you vote.
It was never racist. Of all the bullshit our tax dollars go towards, I think having a voter ID card covered by tax dollars is pretty goddamn cheap
